This time, we also needed a change of clothes so we could go straight to dinner. Our original plan was to stop at the Louisiana Welcome Center to change. But once we stopped at this gas station and saw how clean and big the bathrooms were, we changed those plans. The gas station itself is really big with what appears to be a big inventory. But we weren't there for any road snacks. We were there to fill up for gas... which we did. For future stops, it will probably serve the same snackless, gas filling purpose. But this will certainly be a stop in the future.

My experience is off and on, sometimes I will come across a polite helpful employee and other times very rude that will not acknowledge inquiries.

If you had asked me 15 minutes ago if I would ever eat fried chicken at a gas station I would have said HELL NO, but I walked in and this amazing smell hit me and I had to try it. Some of these people are concerned about YOU so they might share their wisdom on say religion to enhance your life. It's about concern and enhancement. Ask what they mean first, before getting very angry. Kicking a customer out of your store, because they are sharing their knowledge with YOU about religion is not appropriate, especially if they have befriended you, they are 45 years your senior, they have incurable stage 4 cancer and you know they have a good heart even towards other customers. This is a nice and fun place to stop into. Quick and easy in and out gas. Lots of beer, drinks and snacks. EVERYONE LOVES the hot food they cook especially the cracklin's.
