This gas station is all about convenience as close to the 118, this easy access. With that said, it always busy, especially as it border McDonald. As it's convenient and shell, this gas station along with Chevron tend to be the most expensive gas stations in town. When you pay more, you should expect better service but their washer fluid tends to lack soap. You will be very disappointed when trying to you washer fluid to clean your windshield as just water without soap. There is a car wash onsite. read more

This is solely based on the car wash. I drove from Ojai to Simi Valley to do some errands today. I used to live here for 9 years and I loved this car wash. It used to get my car really clean. I used to be very impressed. Today I drove out after the car was "washed" and the hatchback of my SUV window was all dirty and so was the trunk. There were a few other areas but they didn't come out well in the photographs. I went inside and talked to one of the workers and I said can you please give me another car wash because this did not make it clean and he said no even after I showed him the dirty areas. I paid $9 for the car wash so I expected a clean vehicle . The worker's response was "well nobody else complained". Just because no one else complained, if I was to believe him, doesn't mean the cars are coming out clean. I was wiping the water off the car when I saw the dirty / unwashed areas. I asked for the manager and they said the manager is not in today. I asked for the name of the owner and have to call back tomorrow. Pretty disappointed. I'm hoping he will either refund my money or give me a new car wash. Sign, sadly disappointed. read more

I won't give any stars to this gas station Just went to pump gas and I use my Apple Pay and while waiting for the pump to start the screen read one moment so I went inside to tell them and 2 supposed customer services they look up each other and I told them that I'm waiting for my gas and the girl told me there is no money transaction on the pump and then she print a receipt for the exact amount but different pump number so I told her that just fox it and she said she can't and went outside without saying anything when she come back I was already talking to my bank cancelling the transaction and I told the bank that they didn't want to do anything. The girl return back and told me that she saw the cámara and I told me that my son told her number 5 and they already pump from the pump $16.15 and I told her you return the money and I will pay again and she told me she can't do that. Plus she was not the one who did the transaction it was the man cashier and asked to give me the phone number and she wrote the number and when I call she answered and told me that supervisor was not there read more

Do not take your car here at all!! I took my brand new car through their car wash and the thing your tires clicks in scratched my whole rim really bad. I showed the "manager" right away and he said someone would call me ASAP. I called about 5 times and got a call back 2 months later. The owner said she won't do anything about it. That she cant view the cameras from inside at all and all they can do is offer me a free car wash. She was so rude! read more

An ok place right off the freeway. Station was beautiful inside but the men's bathroom was filthy. They need to check it out several times during the day. Toilet had splatter diarrhea all over and there were no paper towels. I told my friend and he took a bunch of towels from the window washer at the pump so he could dry his hands. I asked if he could turn on the air for me as he was bagging someone's snacks and he aggressively yelled at me saying he was busy and I asked when you are done is fine and he still yelled back saying he is too busy. Paid $9 for a car wash. When I drove through to use the car wash I noticed it was just water, it didn't spray any soap (I've used this car wash a lot, I know what to look for, no Tri-colored soap was sprayed out.) I went inside to ask if someone could fill the soap so I could go through again. I was told "only the manager can fill it and he's not here." I asked for a refund and was told "only the manager can give you a refund, and he's not here, but I can give you another car wash ticket." I took the new ticket, I figured I'd just use it the next time my car needed a bath. I then took my car home and washed it myself. About 3 weeks later my car needed a bath again. I drove to Shell and tried to use the new ticket. The machine said the ticket was invalid. I went inside to see what was wrong and was told "Sorry, this ticket is expired." I didn't realize they expired, and was never told that they expire. I said "I paid $9 for that, can I please just have another one?" Guess what she said? "Sorry, you'll have to speak to a manager, and he's not here, but I THINK he'll be in tomorrow." I won't be going to this Shell again. Also, the bathrooms at this Shell are always disgusting. There is an Alliance gas station just South down Yosemite that has better gas prices, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and a working car wash. They will be getting my business from now on. read more

It's got it all: clean facilities, plenty of pumps, freeway convenience, great selection in the store (and not too overpriced, either!), an up-to-date car wash, and a equally-as-large mcdonalds next door for a quick bite to eat. read more

One of my favorite gas stations in Simi generally tends to have one of the lowest prices in the city. Always clean, and bright. Right off the 118 freeway. Pretty much all of what Ken S. said. Tends to be on the busy side sometimes but still a great gas station. It also nice that is has a little mini mart and located next to a McDonald's. Use to love the staff, new girl, needs more training. I went in to tell her the wax in the car wash isn't working. She then stated "oh are you sure, we haven't gotten any complaints"... well then I am the first and then she said she would call someone to fix it...... ok...... can I have my 2 dollars back that I paid extra for something I didnt get.... nope. This is the perfect gas station in my eyes. First of all it always feels safe no matter the time of night. It's extremely convenient off the 118 either direction you're heading. Its well lit. It's usually cheaper than gas in the valley. There are so many pumps I've very rarely had to wait. It's CLEAN! Nice car wash does a good job. A MCDONALDS!!! I have not used their car wash yet as I usually take care of that at home. Conveniently located and competitively priced for brand gasoline, this Shell has one major issue...it has THE SLOWEST PUMPS in the world. Make sure you have time because this won't be a "quick" fill. Aside from that, it's a great station kept well-lit and clean, with a mini-mart and drive-thru car wash. Drive through McDonald's across the parking lot too. read more

My favorite gas station in Simi. Perhaps it's because it's right next to my parents' house and easily accessible from the freeway. I was excited to learn they lowered their car wash prices. The drive-thru car wash is one of the better ones I have experienced. Let's be real, they don't always do the best dry job, but all you gotta do is hop on the 118 and speed up to get those spots to dry away quickly. read more

The birds had just pooped on my car today, so I chose the middle, $7.00 wash to clean it up. Coming out of the drying section the rubber thingy pulled my wiper blade off, so I parked to put it back on. The bird poop was still there, and spots are everywhere on the car. I love this gas station! It is always clean, well lite and they always have the lowest price around! It has one of those handy drive thru car washes which is great for $5 I can even get my car washed! There are big lanes and plenty of pumps. Well appointed little mart on the inside. I just had a horrible experience at shell I went in and pre-paid my money then went out to pump the pump was out of order not working so I went back in and the lady working there refused to give me back my money!!? She said she would call the manager and then as they were talking then she hung up and basically told me that oh the pump did not charge me because I didn't get gas but you could clearly see that my card had already been charged since I prepaid the pump doesn't give me back my money does she think I'm stupid!!! It was absolutely horrible because I never got to get my money back and ended up with no gas I would not ever get gas at this place again they don't put out of order signs on their pumps that are not working and then basically steal your money and tell you that there's nothing they can do are they will have the manager call you and take your information well no one has called me it is basically fraud!!!! read more

Worst gas station ever. I never write reviews for anything unless they are good ones as customer service is of the utmost importance to me and I'm sure to many others out there. But I must contradict myself as I just couldn't let this go. Short and to the point. No care for their customers at all! Now this is only my opinion based on 4 or 5 times visiting there, each time hoping the first few were a flook but.....NOPE! Employees at times sitting down behind the register and once not even bothering to get up, or a simple hello. When the big Powerball lottery was going on they wouldn't allow me purchase milk for my daughter or cash out a winning scratcher because they were too backed up and needed extra time to sell powerballs. This was under the instruction of the owner I was told. I used this service station as a matter of convenience as its close to my home, but will now go elsewhere. Now I understand this is a gas station so what kind of service could you really expect? However it does mean a little something to take care of your customers regardless of the biz you are in. You may like this place and hopefully have had a good experience but as far as myself...well I'll just go elsewhere and spend money on overpriced items. read more
