After an airline lost my luggage on my first oversees trip since having a baby, I found myself desperately shopping for clothes in a foreign country and for a different body that I did not know how to dress. If there were more than 5 stars I would select that. I think Shelley is a bit of a genius in the area of image consulting and style. I did her Premium Style Experience and each step of the way I have been impressed and her work has exceeded my expectations. She has an incredibly detailed color consultation, where her keen eye is able to identify the colors that will make you look great, and you get the set of colors on a swatch that you can take with you and use to help with shopping going forward. She also has tailoring skills and is quickly able to see what kinds of alterations might be needed to optimize a piece. I am an extremely picky shopper and often leave a shopping experience with one or fewer pieces, making shopping a frustrating experience. Without a ton of exposure to me, she was able to find so many items that were a perfect fit and enhanced my appearance. It could have taken me years of shopping and I still wouldn't have been able to get all the pieces she found. She's also great at finding good deals and discounts, and in understanding my personal style preferences so I ended up with things that feel right for me. I cannot believe it still what she was able to find. Finally I left with a much better understanding of style and what would work for me. So she trained me in a way that I understand the "why" and can apply these lessons going forward, not only speeding up my shopping experience but also improving my ability to find great items. Shelley was a total professional. If you don't know what you're doing with clothes and fashion, you must hire Shelley to redesign you! We started out with a zoom consultation where she clearly explained the process and what I could expect. Next, she came to my house and we did a full color analysis and then went to my closet and looked at everything in my wardrobe, getting rid of the stuff that didn't look great. She sent me links to the kinds of makeup that I should buy that would look great with my color palette as well as other clothes care items like shoe trees -- along with links to videos of how to use these items that are so foreign to me! Then we planned to meet for a shopping trip -- she went shopping for me without me on one day and on the following day we went back together to those stores where she already had the dressing room stocked with all of her picks. We were able to get right to it and try everything on, getting rid of the stuff that didn't look great and keeping the rest. I had a budget for what I wanted to spend which I thought was generous, but so many of Shelley's finds were amazing that I bought double or triple my original budget because they were must haves. So many items that I would never have known would look good on me. She's even following up with another zoom consultation so that I can get coaching on how to style these amazing clothes. Shelley helped me create my work wardrobe I was tired of buying clothes and not really enjoying them and I wanted to update my look. Along with being thoughtful, professional and easy to work with, she brings years of experience with clothing, as well. When she came to help me sort through my clothing and decide what to keep and what to let go of, she also suggested how I could update my individual pieces by having them tailored.
