My friend had a birthday party at the Strike Bowling Bar recently, which was pretty cool. I love a…read morebit of the old ten pin, and I am also fond of a beer from time to time, so the idea of having a beer whilst bowling was a strike in my eyes. We had beers and played pool downstairs before heading up to the alley and knocking down those pins, some better than others. What I need to do in order to improve my game is work on not turning my wrist when I release the ball, I had a bit of trouble there, and my friends didn't make it any better, but I reminded them, some of us may be in the gutter, but at least we're looking for the spares. Strike bowling is the perfect place to meet up with friends if you're all keen on throwing large heavy balls down thin wooded aisles to hit a bunch of white pins. If that sounds like you, then this is the place for that. But what it also offers, apart from group packages and functions, is downstairs beside the bar they have a laser tag arena. A simple game where you put on electronic vests and back packs and run around shooting each other through a dark and moody maze in some kind of, as the introduction video states, post apocalyptic world torn apart. Between shooting friends with lasers, bowling gutter balls and drinking beer, Strike Bowling Bar offers a great and different night out.

It has really brought bowling back as a night out. I first went here for a work Christmas party and it was so much fun. I've also been for a few drinks and a burger and some bowling, as well as with a private party. The best part about it is that it's not just bowling, the entry level is a bar with pool tables and arcade games and a dance floor. Upstairs is the bowling, and there is a bar at the end of the lanes, where you can also order food. There's also laser skirmish, which I am yet to try (it's booked in for a friend's birthday next month). As well as karaoke rooms (also yet to try and not likely to happen). After 4pm it costs $16/game, or $24 for two. On a Saturday night this goes up to $18/game or $28 for two. Its cheaper during the day before 4pm ($14/24) and for kids during school holidays ($8) There's also a bowl and blast combo, with 1 game of bowling and 1 game of skirmish for $20.

What do you do when you've got nothing to do?…read more You go bowling of course! Me and a friend were looking for something to do on a friday night. My mate suggested to go bowling. I personally hadn't been bowling in a looooong time. Maybe 5 or so years. So I thought, "why not!" As you enter, the foyer floor looks like a bowling lane. Nice touch guys. Up the stairs and suddenly you're in the 60's. A big red Cadillac, And old school decor. The place was nice and clean with an awesome music selection. The most amazing thing was the price. $25 for 2 hours of unlimited bowling after 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays! Between two people that worked out to 5 games (with a good 20 minutes spare) and two really sore arms the next day. Also, late night bowling every other night is only $20 for 2 hours! Incredible! We had a great time, so we went back the next night and did it all again. I can't lift my arm. I typed this with my nose. You're welcome.

We bought a gold pass (3activities) for 8 people, and our 3 activities were bowling, escape room, and laser tag. We did bowling, and straight after we finished, a guy cleaned everything on our lane ensuring clean equipment considering covid. There was also hand sanitiser everywhere in this place. We then had our second activity but we had to wait for an hour, so we got to play free table tennis. Once we were there ready to go in and start, they told us that we could only have 6 people in there due to covid restrictions. My mate and I missed out, but we got an hour worth of unlimited arcade access, but we couldn't play anything for tickets or prizes. We got this because we would have missed out on a third activity. Once the escape room finished, another guy came and gave us 2 a free voucher for any activity we want at the place, due to the problems that happened. We then got to play 2 games of laser tag, which were great fun. Once we finished though, we sat around for a bit, and a young lady came to us and said we can have 3 free games of laser tag because of everything that happened today. This is some AMAZING commitment from the staff members, and not only that everything else was great! We got our third activity to be unlimited arcade access (with restrictions), then we got a free voucher, and then we got 3 free laser tag games, what else could you ask for? If one of the workers read this, we would love to say thank you for all the hard work and efforts put in to helping us!

They provide a wonderful service to the village. It is the $$$$$ we need and a revamp. If anyone could help or suggest something it would be fantastic. The view, venue and parking is great. Perhaps a full club bistro with great food would send the village into orbit and get people coming again. I remember a Hotel in Woollahra which allowed you to choose your steak etc.and how it was done. Perfect on perhaps a smaller scale. The local Jamberoo Butcher has wonderful meat and is so competitive. Anyone who would eat a steak costing $10 is crazy. I value my teeth and I want to pay for quality. Anyone who could donate services to upgrade and make the club a drawcard will be rewarded with their results from a very grateful community. I am doing all I can from where I am but I am one and many can make a huge difference. We need the village hoping again. Make some suggestions or offer your services.

And if Barney Stinson has taught us anything, it's that you're never too old for laser skirmish! Once you get over the fact that your twice as old as your competitors, it's actually pretty fun! OK, it may be more for kids parties, but get enough mates together and you'll have a laugh anyway. But be prepared, the kids can be sneaky - they manage to hide in smaller spaces! Prices start at $12 for one game (or battle as they call it) but you can get 3 for $26 - by which point you'll realise that kids are much fitter than you are.

When my nephews came visiting, I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to have fun. The little brats were all over the place, running, shooting, aiming in the dark and hitting me out multiple times. Every time someone shoots you out, your gun becomes inactive for 5 seconds and that gave my other nephew just enough time to knock me out again! Aargh!! Did I have fun?? Yes, lots! There is something exciting about skirmish and ambush without feeling a prick of pain. My ego is heavily bruised though.. It is a small space, but surprisingly, all the running around can count as a mini workout.

The 3 stars is basically just for the place itself. It's a great place to meet for bowling or laser tag and at night it's packed and they have music and flashing lanes with tv screens it's fun and I would definitely recommend comming here but book in advance it gets crazy busy especially on a Saturday night ! Ok as for the food I ordered the chicken panini sounds great right ! I don't know what they think a panini is but this wasn't it!This wasn't even close to it! This was a cold sandwhich !!! It was cold chicken on a roll.. Was so bizarre.. So pretty much just a chicken sandwhich for $20!! Insane! Didn't even come with anything! And than the chips; "beer battered"if your a fan than great... So I ordered a Hamburger .. I know right I was like this has to get better for me! So another $18 later out comes this burger with again a COLD bun and the cheese wasn't even melted so cold cheese and the meat ugh... Let's just say the burgers are better at hungry jacks! But they do give you a big serving of chips! So bowling yes! Laser tag! Totally! Food? Maybe eat elsewhere! And when you have to pay $4 for a bottle of water .. Safer to bring your own! But I will definitely be back to Bowl! Hoping the menu changes and they add some pizzas!

It really is a brilliant idea, and a unique way to spend an evening with a small group of friends. We also decided to get food afterward. We tried different pizzas, which were all good, but we really did have to wait quite a while for each one.
