It has been this way since I started working with them a few years ago. They've been audited and I had to be refunded money they overcharged and now recently my insurance claims have been charged differently because they've changed the way they bill medication management appointments. While I don't believe they're able to control this, they did tell me that the copay would remain $10; it has not remained the same and is $80 and I am now having to back pay for all appointments up to this point for appointments that I was told would for sure be a $10 copay. If they were able to get their finance situation under control I would absolutely recommend them, but constant uncertainty about how you're being charged is not okay. This situation is just the straw that broke the camels back.

But apparently, Perkins couldn't be bothered to reach out to this patient to schedule an appointment that they were guaranteed to get paid for. And is it a bad sign that whenever you call anyone there from the front desk up, your call goes straight to voice mail? I was also informed that Perkins needed to get access to my VA medical records to see Mr. Three problems with that: A) the VA takes a VERY long time to share medical records with any outside provider. B) You can only look at my Mental Health VA records Perkins as you have zero need to see any non mental medical issues I have had C) Maybe if you guys EVER called me, I could authorize you to access my records and find out why you need to see them and sign an authorization form so you can. But thank you, Perkins, for showing the quality of your customer service as a potential paid for customer, so I wouldn't have to find out that there is no customer service as an actual patient. So, for all those people who tell service connected disabled vets, thank you for your service. Maybe you can provide me with some (customer) service in return? Or maybe not....
