This is a great cleaner and tailor that is committed to serving its customers. They offer quick turn around on cleaning and alterations. I had multiple uniform items that needed work and I could not be more satisfied. There was one small issue with the creases, but after pointing it out, they immediately corrected it. Prices are not the cheapest, but worth it due to the care they put into it. If you want a cleaner and tailor that will get the job done and ensure the customer is satisfied, this is the place to go. Really disappointed in their dry cleaning service. I dropped off new two suits for basic hemming and cleaning, and while the hemming was done properly, one of my suits was left completely marked up. I'm not sure what it came in contact with or if my suit is even salvageable, but it is clearly marked on both the pants and jacket. Perhaps their cleaning process damaged it, who knows. There are also creased wrinkles on the jacket. Bottom line, I would not recommend bringing your items here. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! The worst dry cleaning service. It is horrible. I regret coming here. My first time was certainly my last time here. If you want your clothes or uniforms to be damaged, then this is the place to bring them. I brought a brand new uniform here for dry cleaning. I dropped clothes off in perfect condition, just needed to be dry cleaned. I received my uniform discolored (faded or burned), and with a hole that didn't exist before I dropped it off here. Let's be fair, I don't think they did this on purpose, but they did make a mistake, and most likely overlooked it. Somehow, they made a hole in my uniform and managed to fade the color. They did not take responsibility for it and now I have to replace my uniform. read more

We've lived in the area for about 4 1/2 years. They do a good job, nothing has been lost or damaged. They take used hangers back (I hate filling landfills with wire hangers.) Recently I suggested finding a new cleaners since our work locations had changed and this one wasn't as convenient anymore, but my husband refuses to go anywhere else. I don't mind, they're friendly and competent. I've had a few things altered or repaired by the tailor and had no complaints. Sometimes, you find something great by accident. read more

They have a sign that reads 30% off wednesdays and on the same sign the next line says comforters. But they refused to give the 30% off.. saying it did not include comforters. Try debating with them and they prettend not to understand english suddenly. read more

I have been coming to your establishment for over a year and although the service is great your tailor charges way too much. You ruined a pair of extremely expensive pants of which I paid $70 to have hemmed. I get you charged a lot because of the material of the pants the break is now ruined because of the sub-par quality of the hem. I let it go but today I come in to pick up a skirt and dress that I had hemmed only and was charged $28 for the skirt and $38 for the dress! I did not know the price and thought you would call me prior to the work being done with a quote, had I known I would never have let you alter them. That is robbery and you should be ashamed! Very disappointed. I have been taking my dry cleaning here for almost a year now. I have had minor issues in the past. I travel for work a lot. I drop of dry cleaning and then when I pick it up I usually have to pack it right away. Issues I've had in the past is when I get to my work destination and pull the clothes out they would be missing buttons, or have some odd stain. Then of course I'd have to go out and spend money on a new shirt so I could have one to work due to being away from home. Last time I got to my work location and unpacked and noticed two identical holes in my shirt. The holes were not there when I turned in my dry cleaning. Fast forward- I get back home from work and bring the shirt in. They told me the manager would have to look at it. I told them I would prefer to get it fixed and needed it cleaned, along with a few suits and 1 other shirt. Come to pick it up, holes are not fixed and they did not clean the shirt. Of course now I have to go buy another shirt because I fly out for business in a couple hours. I'm done with this place. I keep spending more money fixing what they mess up, replacing shirts, and always in a bind while away for work. read more

I have been a customer of Shelton Shop Cleaners for almost 10 years and cannot recommend the services of this dry cleaner highly enough. In all the time I have been going to this wonderful shop, I have never (and I mean, never) had an issue with something that wasn't cleaned properly. Nor was anything ever lost or damaged and that is very unusual in the dry cleaning business. In addition to my regular dry cleaning items, I've also had numerous bedspreads and comforters cleaned at Shelton Shop, taking advantage of the specials they offer on these items several times a year. I've even had an oriental rug cleaned there. No matter how big or small the order, everything is returned on time and in pristine condition. The owners and their staff always look happy to see me and welcome me by name. This is one of those wonderful small businesses of which America is seeing less of: excellent work ethic, outstanding service, great people.
