Where I grew up, the fireworks shop was the trunk of someone's car and you had to know someone who knew someone. But I have experienced fireworks stores before in other states. This one's great! You enter the lot and park your car in Ohio but the store stands in Indiana. Cool. It is huge warehouse sized building with all things loud, colorful and explosive, running the gauntlet from kiddie sparklers and snake pellets to giant mortar shells. There were a good number of employees on the floor to answer questions and help you find what you're seeking. Checkout counters were numerous and efficient, and you get to choose some freebies based on how much you spend. I was interested to learn they actually sell mostly their own brands. And the merchandise is top quality, we really enjoyed them on Fourth of July. I was a little sad they didn't carry the Black Cat brand, because as all us fireworks fanatics know, Black Cat is The Best You Can Get. Open all year long! read more

Wow! What a selection of fireworks they have here. The gal at the checkout counter was friendly and helpful. While I have no idea about the price of fireworks, my brother seamed happy with the prices. I haven't been in a fireworks store in years, so this was quite a site to see. I'm searching my mind to recall something worthy of saying that would be of interest to Yelp readers AND turn off the notification " this review is currently shorter than most. Nothing comes to mind. I know I'll check my photos to see if I have any worthy of posting. We'll I found two pics but my brother asked me not to post the one of him loading his trunk full of fireworks. So the one will have to do. I'll take more photos next year. I'm trying to remember if there was a rule against taking photos if not If I return next year I'll post more pictures . Not one to post reviews but had to in this circumstance. Stopped in as a passer by and was just looking to browse. The lady at the door greeted me with a huge smile and was very cheerful she asked specific questions as to what we were looking for and not your usual how can I help you. I explained I was intrigued by the signs and size of the building and decided after passing it many times that we would stop. At this time she offered us a tour and started to explain the layout, specials and deals as well as their bonus policy Amazing right?? It gets better. I then stated we wanted to look around a bit and see the selection she then stated she had forgot to mention that you could scan codes on the boxes and watch videos of the fireworks!! It's getting better, she showed me where the codes were and said if I had any questions she would be right there to answer them. We walked around for a bit then we remembered seeing a firework at a friend of ours house and decided to ask if they carried it. When I asked she had mentioned that she believed that they did carry it but was completely honest about not knowing where it may be but offered to walk with us to help look for it!! After just a few minutes of looking I think she was worried I was getting upset or aggravated and she politely asked if I minded if she called someone else as they may know exactly where it was. I stated that was fine now mind you I would usually not like someone pulling out their phone and calling someone else while trying to help a customer but in this case I told her it was fine. Come to find out she called her son as he is a manager there and within one minute of being on the phone with him we found exactly what we were looking for!! She apologized again for being rude and being on the phone but I told her not to be sorry as it helped us a lot faster than if we had continued to walk around looking. She made me a promise that she would continue walking around and learning where her products were and would make a mental list of three to five of the best of the best in her opinion that would be a great addition to my families 4th of July show!!
