Korean half hot dog half mozzerella corndog with sugar ($.50)

The second branch from Winter Park, I was excited to see boba and general good Asian offerings migrate towards West Orlando. Overall, the pros of this location is the price point, cute merch, and good hot boba texture. It's a small store with limited small group seating with very cute plusses available for sale. General ambiance was very cute mom and pop and less hipster boba. Prices are good for today's boba market and I always appreciate getting warm boba for the qq texture. Banh mi was decent, very average but had a good layer of pate, though I wish grilled meats were offered instead of just deli meat. Cons are that the tea flavors are fairly weak here and the powdered drinks taste very powdery (roasted milk tea with brown sugar boba, taro slush) I always try 100% sugar first to gauge and even though i generally prefer less sweet, this definitely was not 100% sugar which may also highlight the weak tea. Brown sugar boba also didn't taste very steeped in sugar either. I wasn't impressed by the Korean corndog at all, breading was too thick, cheese didn't ooze, and hotdog inside was of poor quality. A few small items that the business owner can make to make a big difference. They've only been open here two months so perhaps things are just getting off the ground. - drizzling the sauces onto the corndog would make a much better presentation than just providing sauce packets - food took a while to come out. We were the only people there getting food (2 snacks total) and it still took 15 minutes. Would be hard to wait if other people ordered food ahead of us. - it'd be nice to have a business style trashcan by the exit. We almost had to walk behind the counter to use a foot pedal trashcan because the other foot pedal trashcan just next to the counter was full

What an absolutely CUTE location! They made me feel So welcomed and the service was fantastic. I was in the area and decided to look for a boba tea place and stumbled into this one. I had the lychee tea with coconut popping boba as well as a passion fruit tea with strawberry boba. Both were super yummy! I would definitely be back if I'm ever in the area.

New boba spot in winter garden. Lots of parking, cute outdoor photo op. Inside looks clean but minimal seating. A lot of stuffies on the seating area. Menu is easy enough to understand. Staff is nice but still learning everything. Wondering if she accidentally didn't add sweetness to my drink. Got the classic milk tea with brown sugar boba. Drink was not sweet with the classic brown sugar you expect. Can't tell if the milk was a milk alternative, tasted off. Boba itself tastes like charred marshmallows? Also minimal trash cans both in and outside. Will have to try back later to see if it's improved and worked out the kinks!

Shen Tea is our new go-to Boba Place! The staff is friendly and the drinks are priced more reasonably than other boba spots in the area! We got a strawberry milk tea with cream brûlée foam, a strawberry/mango mixed fruit tea with boba, and a couple different corn dogs (Cheetos , cinnamon sugar, and plain) to try. The boba is the best we've had in the area, even without doing 100% sugar. The flavors were spot on and the fruit pieces were fresh! We really wanted to try the corn dogs bc we'd seen them on social media. They were tasty but a bit overrated IMO. They have a lot of batter coating the hotdog/mozzarella stick and the flavor seems to get lost. We'll definitely try some of the other food options next time we go for boba. The decor is so cute and exactly what you'd imagine for a boba place. They also have cute merch for sale if you're wanting to add to your stuffed animal or cup collection. The staff seem to enjoy their jobs and were helpful with ordering. As far as customer service and taste for the local boba spots, Shen Tea is the winner!

This is a traditional boba tea spot with a mixture of milk teas, matcha, fruit teas, and more. The store is cute with a bunch of oversized stuffed animals available for purchase. I had the traditional black milk tea with boba. You can pick your ice and sweetness level like at most places. It was one of the better milk teas I have had recently. I wish they gave more boba since that is the best part :). The staff was pleasant and helpful and could provide tasting notes for the different tea flavors I asked about.

I was happy to see all the veggies with it too. It's so tasty. I was trying not to eat much rice, but the purple rice that becomes crunchy on the bottom was so irresistible. My husband ordered the beef bulgogi with the bowl and loved it too. We ordered the crab corn Rangoon and this was slightly different than the traditional and it was so good with the corn. This place was quite busy this time. The two servers took care of everyone as best and smoothly as they can. At times it took a while so just keep that in mind if you are in a time crunch. I do think it's worth it.

Nothing great or authentic about much of the menu Service: Young waitress that was fairly conversed on the menu but really needed mentoring and no manager was in site. For example, brought us a beer and the serving glass was chipped (noticed after the beer was poured). Instead of offering a new beer she said "this happens once in awhile and brought a new glass but ignored the obvious issue. On another front : They had 2 beer choices and she said one was dark but when it came it was just a regular lager in a green bottle(hence the dark). This is not her fault it's inattentive management. Atmosphere: Modern and sparse and pretty dirty. Tables were not properly cleaned and the menus were sticky. Price/Value: Average pricing for what was offered but not a great value. They also charge a 3% credit card fee (absolute nonsense). Will not be going back.

The overall atmosphere was quaint but inviting. The restaurant has these really cool fixtures over the tables that add almost a brutalist feel to it, but for the most part, it is a pretty traditional restaurant layout. There is ample seating, and there is also ample parking in the plaza where this restaurant is located. As for the dining experience (food) itself, I kept it light with my order. I ordered the avocado roll and paired it with some miso soup. Both of which I enjoyed IMMENSLY. I am looking forward to going back to try more of their menu and venture into their speciality rolls. The pricing is GREAT. For my first experience, I was quite pleased.

I wanted to write an update mostly because of the fact that another, very popular market opened…read moredown the street and a lot of people have been bypassing Lotte in favor of it. (You know what store I'm talking about... starts with an H) Fine, but my personal observation especially based on the visit I made last week is that even though the other market is being hyped up by social media; Lotte is still a better, and more affordable market. Granted, the food court choices at the other location are better, I'd still come to Lotte when I need specific asian ingredients. It seems they're aware that theres more competition and they've not only done renovations to the store but they have a lot more specials now than before. The day we went they even had several people promoting products and giving out samples. I don't recall them ever doing that before and I think that's a great idea to boost sales in items. I look forward to shopping here in the future.

Lotte Plaza Market is not your typical supermarket--it's an entire experience. From the moment you…read morepull in, one thing becomes clear: this place operates on a completely different scale. The parking lot is spacious and easy to navigate, which already sets the tone for a smooth, stress-free visit. Once inside, you quickly realize just how expansive this market truly is--you could easily spend an hour (or more) exploring every aisle without even noticing the time go by. What makes this market stand out is its depth and authenticity. As an Asian supermarket, it offers an extraordinary range of products that go far beyond what you'll find in standard grocery stores. The produce section alone is worth the visit--fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables, many of which are unique or hard to find elsewhere, are beautifully displayed and constantly restocked. As you move through the aisles, you'll discover an impressive selection of: Specialty herbs, spices, and seasonings Authentic sauces and condiments from across Asia An entire world of noodles, rice varieties, and pantry staples A wide assortment of snacks, beverages, and imported goods If you're cooking Asian cuisine, you will find absolutely everything you need here--no exceptions. It's the kind of place where both home cooks and seasoned food lovers can get inspired just by walking through the aisles. Beyond groceries, Lotte Plaza Market feels more like an international marketplace. You'll find plants, beauty products, and specialty items, adding to the overall experience and making it more than just a place to shop--it's a place to explore. A helpful tip: since many items are imported, be mindful to check expiration dates on packaged goods, and keep an eye out for promotions. Some products can be on the pricier side, but there are definitely great deals if you take a moment to browse. One of the highlights--and honestly one of the main reasons I return--is the indoor food court-style dining area. There are several small eateries where you can order directly at the counter. While the setup is casual and straightforward, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--perfect for a quick and delicious stop during your visit. To elevate the experience even further, the market also features a French bakery, along with beauty boutiques and a hair salon, giving it the feel of a small international plaza rather than a traditional grocery store. Overall, Lotte Plaza Market delivers on every level--selection, authenticity, and experience. Whether you're shopping for specific ingredients, discovering new products, or simply stopping in for a quick bite, it's absolutely worth the visit. Even if you're not familiar with Asian cuisine, this is the kind of place you go to explore, learn, and enjoy something different. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend making the trip--you'll understand why the moment you walk in.
