Came here for dinner a few nights ago and so happy we did. We were looking for some comfort food and we've lived in Ocoee for 5 years now and have not found a place close to home for us when we were craving pho. The staff are super friendly and helpful with our selections. I enjoyed the pork and shrimp spring roll as my appetizer. Seating is indoors with enough tables for probably 10-15 families. My husband enjoyed his thin sliced beef with their traditional pho. That broth has been stewing for a long time, you can taste the heartiness. I loved my vermicelli noodle salad bowl with their special which includes grilled beef, crispy spring roll, and shrimp. Mine was served with a side of fish sauce that I just drowned in my bowl. The owner Catherine Dinh is a sweetheart. She is so nice and accommodating. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. But my favorite is how good their pho is. Very nice casual pho joint. You order at the counter before sitting down. I called ahead of time to make sure they had some vegetarian options. They have three different broths to choose from: beef, chicken, and veggie. We ordered the shrimp pho with veggie broth and the broth was really flavorful and nice. The Fifth District is one of my absolute favorite spots for Vietnamese food. Their pho is consistently delicious, full of deep, rich flavor and comforting goodness. But the real standout for me is their spicy beef lemongrass soup. It is delicious. I find myself craving it all the time. That said, I was a bit disappointed during my most recent visit. The restaurant was completely empty and closed, and there was no sign, voicemail message, or update online to explain what was going on. For a moment, I worried they had shut down permanently. I later found out on my lical Facebook winter garden group that they are just temporarily closed for remodeling, which is a relief. I would highly recommend the owners keep customers informed next time with a simple note on the door, an updated voicemail, or a post online. It would save a lot of confusion for loyal customers like me who truly love this place. Looking forward to their reopening. I will definitely be back for more of that amazing soup. read more

I ordered the pho special which came with rare round steak, beef brisket, meatball and beef flank and sides of fresh veggies and hoisin sauce and sriracha. Portions here are huge... I could have easily shared this with someone else but I was feeling under the weather so I didn't. Fifth district noodles & tea have been in Ocoee for a while and I'm surprised that I didn't come here sooner. It's about a 5 minute drive from the office I work at. I'm going to come here more often. Our Vietnamese restaurant in Clermont closed a few months ago, so I was very excited to find this delicious replacement in a strip mall off of Highway 50 in Ocoee. They have a delicious authentic Vietnamese menu, along with some other offerings such as cheese fries, chicken wings, along with Boba, and other Vietnamese drinks. The service was speedy and friendly in the newly renovated restaurant that is designed to make you feel as if you are at an outside table at a street Café. Hubby ordered short rib pho, summer rolls with pork and shrimp, and fried chicken wings. The short rib pho was INCREDIBLE, with the biggest chunk of meat on a rib I've ever seen! The broth was absolutely delicious, with offerings of basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, and jalapeño to add in. The chicken wings were nice and crispy - I prefer to get them naked and dip them in your choice of sauce. The garlic parmesan was yummy with fresh garlic, olive oil, and parmesan, but I preferred the Sriracha mayo they served with it. The pork and shrimp summer rolls were light and fresh, and the peanut dipping sauce was on point. I'm happy to say that I like The Fifth District better than my old Vietnamese restaurant in Clermont; we will definitely be back soon! read more

I was excited to try this place! Super nice service, looked clean with cute little decor, decent boba but the food was not for us unfortunately. Jumbo egg roll- extremely overpriced for an egg roll that didnt taste like it should, undercooked and too greasy, 2 for $11. Popcorn chicken- only a few good pieces and a lot of barely there battered ones but the ones that did have chicken tasted good. Cheesy fries, thick and soft,not skinny like the picture , didn't have the seasoning and the two cheese sauces with just queso and spicy mayo. Even asked for the sauces on the side, because we really don't be eating cheese like that. Bbq pork sub- odd take on a banh mi sandwich, the pork was marinated but had no color, pale in color like it wasn't grilled and just sautéed in a pan, the shredded carrots were covered in this yellow sauce that didn't taste right with the pork and the bread was hard. The jasmine milk tea with boba was decent tho, good boba texture, not too sweet in surrounding standards but still too sweet for me. Maybe their pho is good who knows. read more

On the Pho soup: Broth was good . Carrots very watery soggy so we will not order extra veggies at this place again Sandwhich was good but could have used more cilantro. This spot hits!! The broth was absolutely spectacular, and it was packed full of flavor. The additions were so fresh, and we were happily surprised to be given culantro! The meatballs were the PERFECT texture... wonderful density and chew, and the other meat just fell apart. Both my wife and I had the special pho, and she added tendon. The pho noodles were cooked to absolute perfection. Everything about this dish was a 5/5. We also had the wings, which were crisp and packed full of flavor. I really wanted to like this place, especially since my parents had a great experience here just a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing. The broth was OK--not the most flavorful, but decent enough. The real issue was the vegetables. They were clearly frozen and thawed out, and you could taste the excess water in the broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. It completely threw off the texture and flavor of the pho, to the point that I couldn't even finish my bowl--which never happens. It's a shame because I usually love pho down to the last slurp. Maybe they had a different chef this time, but I hope they reconsider using fresh ingredients because that would make a huge difference. Until then, I'm not sure I'd come back. read more

We ordered a Vietnamese chicken salad, fresh rolls, egg rolls and Pho. All were very delicious. The fish sauce was some of the best we have had. I only ordered for takeout but loved the open and bright atmosphere in the dining area. The staff is friendly over the phone and in person. The pho was nicely packaged with the broth in a separate container from the beef and veggies. The broth was still hot 20 minutes later and cooked the rare beef. It had a very clean taste. Kids loved the popcorn chicken and I appreciated the extra touch of the fried basil. The banh mi beef had a great smokey flavor and well balanced with the pickle and herbs. Such a cutely decorated Vietnamese restaurant. I've gotten pho here to go and the packaging was always thoughtfully put together, and the taste on point. Today, I decided to dine in, and so glad I did! Everyone who worked there was super sweet, the energy in the restaurant was laid back, relaxing, and pleasant...and the restaurant was clean. My parents got the beef pho and said the broth was delicious. I got the grilled pork rice plate, and thoroughly enjoyed it. This lovely little shop, ladies & gentlemen, needs to be on your list to frequent! I love this place! The service is wonderful, I'm always greeted by the same young lady with a smile. I can tell she's invested emotionally, so much so that every time I visit, she asks me if I liked the food from my previous visit. I've brought my family here, they also really enjoy the food, and we even dined it and had a wonderful experience. She (the main front of the house head woman) even asked us mid meal if we needed any additional veggies or sauce (not a penny pincher). So as you can tell, I admire the service. Now what you've been waiting for, the food. The broth for the pho bowls is fresh and delicious. My parents loved their egg rolls and how big they were, and my nephew enjoyed his popcorn chicken. I love the location of this new Vietnamese pho restaurant; it's perfectly situated in the Olde Time Pottery complex. The establishment is very clean and organized with tons of seating. The people working there were nice. Service was fast. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars because the only reason it's not 5 for me is the quality of the food I have tried thus far. It's a bit unfair of me to write this prior to actually tasting their pho, but so far the spring rolls weren't that good- tasted old maybe? The peanut sauce tasted like it wasn't made in-house and there was an large amount of hot sauce spilled onto the top of it- that made it hard to use. The fruit tea (special) was a bit too sugary for the 25% sweet that I requested. I hope to go back for a flowery tea and pho and will update my review after I do that. read more
