Shepard Hills Factory Outlet has a great variety of name brand cutlery. I was looking for Japanese brand Global cutlery. I didn't find what I was looking for, but I did find other products like solid, wooden salad bowls. I swung by to check out the knives and was super impressed with the selection, but not the prices. Don't be fooled by the 'outlet' label because the pricing was not so much. There was maybe a few dollars off the list pricing of the knives but if you go onto the Case or Buck websites you can get the same knives engraved for just a few bucks more. So great to see them all in person, but not really what you would expect for outlet pricing. Not a whole lot else here to peruse here other than pots and pans, so unless you are into knives or kitchenware you might want to skip this one. read more

Came in to shop for a set of Henckels. I've been looking at various spots, mostly in CA, and haven't found any that compare to the price I got everything here. I did not want a block set, I wanted a few good staple knives and then a set of steak knives. The Assistant Manager helped us and was very knowledgeable. I ended up getting about 6 of various pro series, 8 steak knives, a set of nice flatware, and nice wooden magnetic strip for about $750. Very good deal for the pro series and what I got. My wife loved this place, it's all things kitchen cutting tools, kitchen cast iron, and other kitchen gear. Thats one half of the store, the other half is for the boys with cases of knives of all description. Lots of high end choices here, everything from $15 pocket knives to $300+ Benchmade or German knives. A lot to choose from here and I think you can get some good value here as well. As an aside I never knew you could pay so much for basic kitchen knives but that speaks to the range of options that could be found here. read more

We saw all these billboards traveling towards St Louis and decided to stop to see some of the knives we use. They were sky high (as always anywhere) but the rest of the store had quite a few interesting items. Sine we were flying back home (limited what we could take) we only got a couple of small things. Saw the "Denby seconds" billboard and stopped here on a cross-country road trip. Didn't buy anything because I was short on time, but the selection was quite good and prices sort of reasonable. I know Denby is $$$, but a teapot was still $50+. The store had Chicago cutlery, frames, clocks etc. but wasn't interested in those. Customer service was ok. Not the friendly MO receptions I've usually had. A little unsettling to note that I-44 is speckled with knife outlets.... read more

Came in to purchase a knife sharpener. When talking to the sales representative, he acted annoyed when I asked him questions, and was downright rude! A place that did not and will not see my money EVER! Other then a rude salesperson the interior was set-up beautifully. A shame really since no matter how nice the decor and setup is customer service is till KING! read more

We drive over from central Illinois about once a year to look at the new Case pocket knives and this year we really hit the jackpot. Miss Sharp was our sales clerk and she really went out of her way to see that we found the perfect knife. Three times she called upstairs to get us one more knife to look at and we were able to get the perfect one. As a collector, the four we got today were beautiful. I hope when we make our next trip over, Miss Sharp will be working. Thank you for having such a great selection and hiring Miss Sharp. read more

this place was ok. Fun to walk around and look but price was more like retail pricing. I found nothing that was truly a outlet store price. I found a number of items that were damaged and the last ones (of things I was looking for) and when asked about the price they said that they could not mark down damaged items and would just send them back to the manufacter. read more

We've stopped in here twice on road trips. It houses a Case pocket knife dealer, and has low and high end kitchen knife brands. Lots of Staub, Rachel Ray, Emile, and Analon cookware. Lots of Precious Moments dolls. And it goes on and on. My sense is that it's an off-price retailer, but I didn't ask. I use Staub and the prices are roughly 20% below a Williams Sonoma or Sur la Table; in other words, when those retailers have 20% off sales, prices are comparable. But we love coming in here when we're passing through...and we never leave empty-handed! read more

Total rip off! Not a Discount Outlet by any means for at least one product line. I sent them a note, the sales manager called me shortly (8PM!) thereafter and apologized profusely, stating that that store is not technically an OUTLET for their products and they have no control over seller pricing. Yes, $31.99 + tax is teat for tat with $29.99 + shipping and it's not an issue, the product works great, the price would be about the same if I returned the rod and ordered online, so it's not the $$ it's the principle! Outlet my white arse! Discount Schmiscount - they are LIARS plain and simple - should have been tipped off by the, oh, gazillion billboards on I44 advertising 40-60% off knives, etc. I'll never fall for that again but was bored on business trip and needed a leg stretch. Plus like the other review, the head (?) guy was gruff, not enthused by me and the, oh, 2 other shoppers in the tacky tourist trappy joint. a strange outlet mall that sits out in the middle of nowhere, we stopped in here on our way home from vacation to see the Christmas stuff they had for sale, walked in to a huge store filled with everything from knives to walnut bowls to precious moments figurines, lots of them.. the customer service needs some work, but the prices were pretty decent on the various items that I looked at . the place is worth checking out even if it's just to see the array of merchandise for sale here. read more

I stop here every time I go to Oklahoma to visit my daughter. I love it and I think the customer service is great. I bought some posters and they girl put them in a box for me so they wouldn't get bent. I get great stuff every time I go. I wouldn't pass it up. It is also a great place to buy gifts. This is an excellent company! I Have ordered from them several times online and was under the impression they only dealt in W.R. Case pocket knives, but last week I went to Oklahoma with a friend and on our way we passed through Lebanon, MO. BOY WAS I SHOCKED!! When I walked in I was blown away. They had a MASSIVE selection of W.R. Case knives as well as Buck, Victorinox, Leatherman multi-tools, Surefire flashlights and others. Part of the store also had what looked like home decor. I really didn't get to that part, but it was quite a selection. As far as their selection of knives, it was wonderful. Not only knives that you could find else where, but also knives with exotic handle materials and various blade steels. And their prices are very nice. Well below MRSP's. As far as customer service, I could not ask for better assistance. Five minutes after walking in, I had already been asked three times if I needed anything or wanted to look at anything. When I finally did decided to look at a knife closer, the lady who helped me was very polite and very knowledgeable not only about the knives they had in the display cases, but also about the history, material and care of the knives.
