A Fair is just not a fair without midway rides! No rides today, the first Saturday of opening…read moreweekend and NO RIDES tomorrow per their web page. Very disappointing to the children and they do not understand adult excuses of why there are no rides. Parking is $5, same as 2019, but you are on your own trying to exit the fairgrounds. No law enforcement to assist you getting through the traffic jam. One of those temporary stop light trailers would have been helpful if no one is available to help out. But it my opinion, it is only once a year and a highlight of Morgan County and they should be out there helping us to avoid getting hit from the speeding vehicles on Hospital Dr. Food was about the same as 2019 (no fair in 2020). There was an early long line for the donuts so they must have been good. We sampled the cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, potato salad and fries. All disappeared quickly. We also tried the ice cream from Morgantown Fire Dept. It was homemade and cold. This year they offered a rodeo. While not a substitute for the rides it did save the fourth star in this review. All four of us enjoyed the rodeo events. After touring all of the animal barns earlier, the two granddaughters did a return visit to the lambs and sheep barn before we left. They both love animals very much.

It's the little things... :) -It is cash only but there are several change machines in store that work beautifully. -clean! The machines themselves are cleaned and well-maintained, the floor (even in the winter) is free of lots of spills and debris. -There are staff on site to assist with change, and and other questions. - They offer free Wi-Fi with excellent signage to know the code. - Kroger is in the same parking lot, so a 29 minute wash cycle is perfect to run in and grab a couple of things. Pricing is $3 to wash for a 2-load size washing machine. This is about the same size as our home washing machine. They also offer drop off laundry services at about $1.50 per pound. This is significantly cheaper than tide cleaners, which charges close to $2.75 a pound.

I noted that they were a plumber that…read morequalified for Yelp's guarantee program, a neat program that I've fortunately never had to use. I did my initial contact outside of business hours. Early the next morning, I had a message from Adam B. Once I got to work, I returned the call and quickly described my issue and what I believed it to be. The first available appointment wasn't until Monday (it wasn't urgent, so I wasn't worried about going the weekend). I got my timeframe. I had a couple other appointments that day, so I ended up taking the day off so I could easily be available. I immediately liked that they told me who would be arriving - AND that was who arrived. I also liked that they use a customer portal that allows you to have some security if you pay online or to review your records. Christian arrived (there was one other person with him). It took him a couple minutes to diagnose the issue he believed it to be, and it took him not a lot longer to determine that diagnosis correct. He quoted the price, I agreed, and he got to work. After finishing the work, he determined the original issue I'd believed it to be wasn't quite needing to be addressed (but will be in the near future). We discussed options, including ways I could save a bit. Christian was personable and explained things in a way I could understand. The issue was likely caused by me, but he managed to avoid using the word "idiot" at any point. The repair was done in a timely manner. The price ended up being a bit lower than quoted. I appreciated his honesty as he very easily could have pointed me toward a repair not needing done yet. It also became obvious the last person I'd used had really only done half the job. Everything has worked beautifully since Christian finished. There are likely a couple more projects I'll tackle in the near future, and I won't hesitate to return to Grateful Plumber. The housecall was $59, but that was credited toward the repair once I decided to have them do the work. Friendly employees. Good follow-through. Fair pricing. Quality work. Problem solved. That's 5-star for me and another winner for Yelp's project feature.

Meanwhile late in the day someone from my Dad's church volunteered to come and look at the issue. The issue is fixed. I called the grateful plumber as soon as I had a chance , because of everything that is going on. The voice mail said that cancellations done in less than 24 hours would still require the service fee. I left a message and cancelled the appointment then I get a text that their service guy is on his way. I called back and talked with the owner I'm assuming and he said he is charging us a service fee anyway. That it was too late to call off his guys and that they had been holding this spot for me. Terrible customer service and interaction.

The coach does apologize and seems quite embarrassed by this behavior, as some of his players even snicker during the prayer both teams gather for after the game. Elders at any congregation should be made aware of this. Many of us will discourage anyone we know from seeking truth or a place to worship from visiting this place.

The instructor is incredible, super motivating and really knows how to make the experience feel special. She even hosted a drawing for prizes, which was a fun extra touch. The energy in the room was high, the workouts were challenging but rewarding, and my body definitely thanked me afterward. It's one of those "feel good after" kind of workouts.
