I'm so glad that they did as it was just what we needed. It is run by donation so the prices vary depending on what you request but we found it to be an amazing deal for the quiet, delicious meals and space to wander in nature and reflect. The main house has several bedrooms with shared baths as well as one or two with a private bath. The main dining space is on the main floor which is where those staying eat dinner together provided by the staff. Other meals are on your own and there are portions of casseroles etc in a freezer for you to choose from and warm up whenever you might want a meal. They have coffee and tea and do ask for a small donation toward the costs of those but it means you can make things when you want and not have to rush for a morning breakfast time! The overall ambience is one of quiet as it is located in a wooded area with some trails around the house. You can stay inside in several rooms or sunroom, or find seating outside on a porch or along the lake or near the fire pit. It would be an amazing spot to host a weekend retreat or go with friends for a day, or bring a small group for a time together. The couple who run the spot are amazing and down to earth, and always willing to stop and have a conversation. They use volunteers to run the retreat center as well so it is a great way to give back to the community by giving of your time to help with meal prep, landscaping and other needed activities. We throughly loved our time there and the food was simply amazing! We are already looking at our calendars to pick a date for next time.

The retreat is a peaceful country setting and the interior and exterior provide plenty of peaceful areas for rest and reflection. I have not stayed overnight, but had the pleasure of Volunteering in the kitchen. It was a great experience to volunteer with a friend and work along side one of the owners in preparing meals for the guests. Everything has been thoughtfully planned out by the Husband and wife duo who own the retreat center. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of the experience. We took a break for lunch and ate in the back of the home where there was a huge deck with several porch swings and tables tucked away overlooking a pond. The fire pit looks absolutely perfect for a crisp evening. If you are looking for a Christian retreat or even a volunteer experience I would highly recommend!

Please be very careful buying a lot here! The office folks love to harass you, boat stickers, etc…read more but, love to forgive those same requirements for long term residents. Plus, they love to pay lawyers to continuously file worthless lawsuits against indigent, deceased land owners! They could file a very simple lawsuit to reclaim a lot. But they do not! They love to spend money for 7+ years. Oh, and no this lawyer is in GOP Indiana government! Where does your money go?

You can also park in front for short periods to load/unload. - vending with soaps/drying stuff and food/drink - free restrooms for customers - tons of carts to use - all machines are either coin OR card. Most that have gone to card form don't still accept coin but they do here which is great. - and an automated front door for convenience I definitely recommend this laundromat!

Early the next morning, I had a message from Adam B. Once I got to work, I returned the call and quickly described my issue and what I believed it to be. The first available appointment wasn't until Monday (it wasn't urgent, so I wasn't worried about going the weekend). I got my timeframe. I had a couple other appointments that day, so I ended up taking the day off so I could easily be available. I immediately liked that they told me who would be arriving - AND that was who arrived. I also liked that they use a customer portal that allows you to have some security if you pay online or to review your records. Christian arrived (there was one other person with him). It took him a couple minutes to diagnose the issue he believed it to be, and it took him not a lot longer to determine that diagnosis correct. He quoted the price, I agreed, and he got to work. After finishing the work, he determined the original issue I'd believed it to be wasn't quite needing to be addressed (but will be in the near future). We discussed options, including ways I could save a bit. Christian was personable and explained things in a way I could understand. The issue was likely caused by me, but he managed to avoid using the word "idiot" at any point. The repair was done in a timely manner. The price ended up being a bit lower than quoted. I appreciated his honesty as he very easily could have pointed me toward a repair not needing done yet. It also became obvious the last person I'd used had really only done half the job. Everything has worked beautifully since Christian finished. There are likely a couple more projects I'll tackle in the near future, and I won't hesitate to return to Grateful Plumber. The housecall was $59, but that was credited toward the repair once I decided to have them do the work. Friendly employees. Good follow-through. Fair pricing. Quality work. Problem solved. That's 5-star for me and another winner for Yelp's project feature.

The two story facility has several wagons parked on the front landing and a large gathering room for activities in one section inside. As you enter the building, there is a gift shop behind the front desk and a Gnaw Bone Cabin exhibit on the right. Though the walls look like a cabin, the fact that there is a high ceiling and several displays inside the open space which is also quite large, makes you realize quickly that this exhibit shows items that may have been found in and around a cabin, but is not a realistic representation of a cabin. (For that, head over to the Pioneer Village a block to the south.) To the left of the entryway is a hallway with more exhibits. There are found items, photo displays of local groups, and assorted collections that display some of the history of the county. Although there is a second story, there were no signs indicating that there was anything for visitors to see there. My only complaint about the society's collection is that there is very little about the famous art colonies that had such an integral part in shaping modern Nashville. I know that a lot of the TC Steele items have been collected at the home site a few miles southwest of Nashville, but it would have been nice to see something about Steele and his associates represented. They have a decent amount of parking available between their grass/dirt…read morelot off of Averitt Road and the paved lot that it shares with the Loyal Order of Moose off of Smith Valley Road. I will note that their website says not to park in the Loyal Order of Moose, but I have not seen that enforced, especially on weekends and after hours. They have a large shelter, with picnic tables under it and a well-stocked concession stand that sells your concession favorites like popcorn, pickles, burgers, nachos, hotdogs, candy and assorted drinks. The league is home to five decent fields and the complex is well maintained. I did not see any restroom facility, but there are port-a pottys available to use. Each field has a set of bleachers to sit, but I recommend just bringing your own chair. People were also bringing their own pop-up tents to provide them some relief. The volunteers and staff there were very friendly, except for the guy at the concession stand yelling at kids to stay away from the fences. I would be very comfortable allowing my kids to play in this league to prepare them for the next level.

I highly recommend if you live in this community to pitch in some elbow grease or some simple funds to cover things like chalk and paint as it will go a long way and they are working with everything they have. I only get to come by for a few games a year but I always make sure I assist with funds in the concession stands and I always help out with the fundraisers. It doesn't take much to get involved and help bring the ball parks around town back to life.

This is a very nice softball complex that is home to many Center Grove/Greenwood recreation leagues…read morefrom 4 to 18 year olds. It has been around since 1974. The complex has 10 lighted fields (with score boards) and a decent sized parking lot. There is also two batting cages, three covered pavilions with picnic tables and two restroom facilities there. The parking lot can get kind of full though, especial when there is a large tournament or in between games on rec league nights. Also, be carful, cars are zooming in and of the lot. There is a well stocked concession stand at the park with popcorn, candy, drinks, burgers.... The park is well maintained and a pretty clean. There are a few bleachers at each diamond, but I recommend bring your own chain so that you can be more comfortable as well as spread out a bit more. This is an excellent softball facility that provides opportunities for many girls. If you do visit here, please keep in mind that they do not allow pets.

I asked what the dates meant and was told not to worry about it. Many of the families driving through were very grateful and thanked us while the others looked away or didnt say anything at all.
