You can also park in front for short periods to load/unload. - vending with soaps/drying stuff and food/drink - free restrooms for customers - tons of carts to use - all machines are either coin OR card. When our pipes freeze, every winter, I need to hit up a laundromat, and this is my go to each time. Here are things I love about this laundromat: -The door has a sensor, and it opens for you as you approach the laundromat. It's the little things... :) -It is cash only but there are several change machines in store that work beautifully. -clean! The machines themselves are cleaned and well-maintained, the floor (even in the winter) is free of lots of spills and debris. -There are staff on site to assist with change, and and other questions. - They offer free Wi-Fi with excellent signage to know the code. - Kroger is in the same parking lot, so a 29 minute wash cycle is perfect to run in and grab a couple of things. Pricing is $3 to wash for a 2-load size washing machine. This is about the same size as our home washing machine. They also offer drop off laundry services at about $1.50 per pound. This place is absolutely horrible. I go there to do my all of my dirty clothes because i live in an apartment complex where i could not get all of it done. Everything was fine i washed them and then went to the dryer to put money in. I had a little cash so i used that, barely took my coins and ate most of them so had to put more than what was owed. Then when i tried to pay more with a card it would not let me use my card and said it didn't work. Had to leave with 12 loads of WET laundry and had to lay it out at my place and dry it here and spend even more money. Never fucking going back there read more

I have been coming here for years and the prices have been slowly going up but today I noticed that there is a drastic price hike. What everyone else said about this laundromat is true: it is exceedingly clean, well kept, safe, priced right and the people who work here are friendly and helpful. What more can you want from a laundromat? I came here to get my duvet washed. I could have washed it here myself, but as someone smarter than me recently said: "Ain't no one got time for that." So I dropped it off with the friendly launderette who was sitting at the counter. She took my info, told me when I could pick it up, and asked me what kind of detergent to use. (She listed off like five different kinds. I chose unscented Tide.) Three hours and $19 dollars later, I have a clean, fresh, nicely folded duvet ready to be put back on my bed. My clean duvet also came in a nice plastic bag with a handle. It's a dang miracle, I tell you. If my washer and dryer ever conk out, this will be the place I visit to wash and dry my laundry. In the mean time, I like knowing that I have a place where I can drop off random things that are too big for my washer, and they will come back sparkling (and it won't cost me a fortune). read more

As laundromats go, this one is the best in the area. Always clean, staffed and machines all kept in good repair. It's fairly new, also. Change machines all work and washers/dryers are all wiped out regularly. There is a vending machine for detergents as well as one for snacks. This location also has a nice utility sink with a pull out spray handle. Features plenty of TV's tuned to different stations for the TV lovers, and a dedicated small children's area with the Disney channel on. Free WIFI for the techies, too. I find it a nice gesture that the owner is here regularly, and on one occasion he asked me if I was satisfied with my experience here. There is also a security camera in use. The wash prices can be a bit surprising, as longer cycles/higher wash temperatures cost more. I'd agree this is a unique concept, but I'm willing to pay a bit more overall for a quality, clean, safe establishment. read more

I only go to the laundromat to wash stuffed animals and rugs that will not fit my commercial Maytag machine at home. So what do I like about this laundromat? Payment options: They accept plastic. Credit/Debit or Discover cards are accepted at a majority of the machines. The front row of machines take coins and there are 2 change machines and 1 that gives dollars and change back. What do I wish they would change(no pun intended) that puts this place at a 3 star rating? The 2 sizes of Speed Queen washing machines are only front loaders. Large ($5.25 and up) & medium ($3.00 and up.) No small front loader or traditional washing machines. If you have a small load washing here may not be the most cost effective option. Decision tree wash process. Light soil? Price as advertised includes 1 wash cycle and 2 rinse cycles. Medium soil? Same as light + an extra 5 minutes of wash time = Advertised price + an additional $0.50. Heavy soil? Same as medium +'an extra rinse cycle + an additional $1.00. I have never seen this sort of decision tree to washing clothes and it felt like I had to choose between how much dirt I thought my rugs had and how much I wanted to pay to get them clean. Kinda frustrating frankly. One price point would be excellent and less having to figure out how I need to wash. I already despise housework. Cleaning factor: If you check out my other laundromat review, you will find that I washed a large elephant in a medium sized front loader. The elephant had some stains on it from my child having it for over 8 years. I put some spray and wash on the elephant and had to buy a small box of washing detergent because I forgot that. No bleach. The elephant came clean like new & dried in 24 minutes. Here I washed 2 rugs. One long small one and one large one. They fit perfectly in the medium yet the large one did not get clean and was dry in one section. The small one was clean. I ended up washing the large run by itself in the large machine. These rugs can't handle hot water due to the backing & they should be washed on the delicate/bulky level here. I chose permanent press & medium soil wash so that was an additional $5.75 to get the rug clean. I spent 32 minutes x 2 ($2.00) drying the rugs because I dried them separately since the small rug was rest before the large. They didn't get good and dry and I gave up frustrated at the wash experience. I decided to finish the drying at home. If they improve the washing and drying experience I may return in the future. read more

The last time I was in a laundromat was when I was a child when we would bring our camping clothes/gear and wash them all in large loads, so I really didn't have a lot to go off of. Now, it's going to be nearly impossible to find a better place. For some reason, and I have no idea why, it seems that there's a negative view of people that use laundromats. If that's the case for you, put those aside and visit this business. It'll change your mind. I drive completely out of my way (drive from downtown) and even avoid using my apartment complex's washing machines for the following reasons: - it's clean. You'd think all laundromats would be this way since you're there cleaning, but this business takes it to the next level. - the staff are friendly and are always cleaning! - they have free wifi (go get some work done while you do your laundry) - it's located right by Kroger, so you can do some grocery shopping while you wait for your laundry - i love that you pay by the minute for the dryers - saves you so much money! - they have very large washers so you can usually fit a full load (or two) into one of the industrial size washers. As I was Carrying heavy boxes of soaked T-shirts, right before I got to the door it opened up in a very nice lady was bringing me a laundry cart and asked me if I could use the cart. How nice was that! The laundromat was up-to-date and very clean. The restrooms were nice and clean. They have flat panel TV monitors the change machines worked. It was a great place. I used to attend this laundromat regularly. It is clean and it excepts credit cards. Usually spent $30-40 doing a couple weeks worth of laundry, so not cheap. I would continue to come here except I am being discriminated against. I went in with my service dog (who is professionally trained for ptsd). I made sure to go on a weeknight when it wasn't busy. Immediately when I go in a worker comes up to me and tells me I need to leave. I kindly told him that he is a service dog and the ADA gives him rights to public access. The man was clearly upset but walked away. I quickly finished my laundry and left while every person in the laundromat stared at me. The next week I went to do laundry and there was a huge sign on the door that says "NO PETS AND SERVICE ANIMALS MUST HAVE DOCUMENTATION." It is illegal for a business to ask for paperwork bc that would be a note from my doctor. Legally a business can ask you what your disability is and what tasks your dog is trained in. PERIOD. I found it extremely offensive that they are asking for paperwork and trying to discriminate against anyone that has a service dog. They could have come up and had a pleasant conversation with me but instead decided to do this. Shameful read more

Horrible, rude owner. I was visiting from out of town and needed to quickly get one load done. I had my emotional support animal with me. I had the paperwork to show him but one of his employees said it was fine that he stay inside the laundromat. My dog started to get antsy waiting so I got up to leave so he wouldn't disrupt anyone else. Before I could even do so, the owner says, "You need to take your dog out. I don't even think he's a service animal." There are so many nicer ways to say that. He was a complete dick about it. Great hours! They open super early and close late. I personally just want to get in and out so I come earlier. 2. They are clean! You can tell who takes pride in their place of business and in these days cleanliness means a lot! Plus it smells good. 3. They have a great hospitable worked here named Yolanda. I have put off getting several comforters cleaned and they were able to have three queen sized comforters washed and dried (they have scented and i scented detergent options) and ready for me in 2 hours. This by far is the best laundromat in the city that I've used. I loathe going to the laundromat, but this place almost makes it bearable. First of all, it is so clean! The machines are well kept and actually function the way that they should. I mean the dryers actually dry! You have the option to use coin or a card! They have all of the typical laundromat amenities but nicer. It feels strange to review a laundromat, but this location exceeded my expectations in many ways...especially in comparison to past sketchy laundromats I've visited. I had a large amount of bedding and comforters to wash, and visited this location per Yelp's recommendation. It was exactly as described by other reviews: very clean, lots of seating, safe, reasonable prices, and onsite friendly staff who engage with you (especially if you are a regular). I love that the machines take credit/debit cards, as I hated visiting the ATM and feeding endless quarters into laundry machines at other laundromat locations. I visited a couple times since my initial visit, utilizing the 4 and 8-load machines to be super-efficient with my laundry chores. I can walk over to Kroger for any grocery needs or run nearby errands while the machines are running, without worrying (too much) about my clothes. I've typically stopped by the Laundromat during early morning hours and did not have to compete for desired machines or folding space. Best. Laundromat. Ever. I mean, as good as doing your laundry in a public place could be. In a word: spotless! Everything shimmered and hummed so nicely that even in the gloom of a cloudy, drizzle filled day, I felt relaxed, yet productive at the Laundromat. Everything worked! No machines out of order, no foul odors, no sticky detergent rings, no lint. Nothing. The attendant just cleaned, and cleaned, and cleaned. When he was done cleaning, he cleaned some more! And after he generously helped out people with any requests or assistance, he cleaned even more. Oh, and managed to do drop off laundry service as well. There are TV's everywhere, including a special place for the kids playing Disney Channel. I've been in bars with less entertainment. This is located in the Kroger plaza at 65th and Keystone, a few doors down from Cancun. All the washers are front load. They come in 3 sizes, double-load, 4-load, and 6-load capacity. The pricing on the washers is not flat rate, but it makes sense. If you want warm or hot water (as opposed to cold) it costs $.25 more per wash, regardless of the size washer you choose. With the price of energy, one can't blame them for charging just a bit more for heating up the water. The price also depends on whether you choose "light", "medium", or "heavy" soil level, which translates into the minutes per wash: 24 minutes, 27 minutes, or 30 minutes. (Those are the times for all cycles.) The washers automatically go through 3 rinse cycles, but only one wash cycle (no pre-wash.) At least that's how it worked on my 4-load (the middle size) washer set for "heavy" soil. For double-loaders: $2.75 for light soil, $3.00 for medium, $3.25 for heavy (plus another .25 if you choose warm or hot water.) For 4-loaders, $4.75 for light soil, $5.00 for medium, $5.25 for heavy (plus another .25 if you choose warm or hot water.) For 6-loaders, $6.75 for light soil, $7.25 for medium, $7.50 for heavy (plus another .25 if you choose warm or hot water.) There are 7 flat panel TV's up high on the walls, plus another TV used as the monitor for the 16 security cameras. They have free Wi-Fi. See one of the signs for the username/password that you need to log in. They just opened a couple weeks ago, so everything is shiny-new and clean. The men's room was spotless. There are two size dryers: normal size is 8 minutes per $.25, and the large size are 5 minutes per $.25. They are open until 11:00pm, with the last wash having to start by 10:00pm. The washers are computer-controlled and are programmed to shut down at 10:00pm (unless you've already started yours prior to 10:00pm), so the attendent can't make any exceptions. Prices are on par with the Classic Cleaners Tan & Laundry in downtown Broad Ripple, but not as cheap as my favorite 24-hour ghetto-laundry at E 38th and Mitthoeffer. Last year my wife and I moved from a 3 bedroom house to a 1 bedroom apartment. In the move we sold our HUGE washer and dryer and got a small stackable unit in the apartment. About 1 month into our new apartment living, our cat decided to use our new comforter as a litter box. Said comforter wouldn't fit in our new washer. So we began our search. For less than $15, I was able to drop off my queen size comforter in the morning, have it laundered, and pick it up that afternoon. That's hard to beat. We've been here a few times since then to wash the comforter and sometimes sheets, coats, etc. the do it yourself equipment is nice, but the drop off service is amazing. read more

This place is amazing. I have never been to a laundromat other than during college, but I would almost go back on the regular to do wash here (I have a washer and dryer at home, so that wouldn't really make sense). It was so clean and so easy to do all of the washing that I had at once. There was also ample room for folding and plenty of chairs in which to sit and wait. I visited Laundromat in order to clean a large comforter that wouldn't fit in my washer at home. It worked out great. Laundromat had plenty of large format machines available and even though it was busy in there, I didn't have to wait for a machine. Because of the large format and the amount of space, I really feel like my comforter was getting jostled around and truly cleaned. I was also really pleased to find that the machines take credit card. I was woefully underprepared in the coinage department (it was apparent that I haven't used pay machines since college, because my price estimate was way off). The dryers were also great and inexpensive. You choose how long the dryer runs based on how many quarters you use -- and they really worked very efficiently. I can't think of anything else that I would expect out of a laundromat that Laundromat didn't offer. Even if you have a washer/dryer at home, this place can't be beat for washing large items like blankets. Worth a trip a few times a year for that alone! read more

Best laundromat ever - I travel cross-country 300 days a year, and this BY FAR the best laundromat I've ever been to. Clean, great washers and dryers, and free SPEEDY wi-fi (free & fast rarely go together). Plus, an automatic door - which more laundromats need to add! Not the cheapest ever, but tons of seating, tables, folding space - totally worth paying a little more per load. Came in on a Saturday night (no smart comments about my social life!) and was greeted by the owner. He asked if I had been here (I hadn't) and explained how many size washers they had, as well as the various settings. Super friendly owner, as well as the attendant. Location is great, too, because there is food nearby, a Walgreens across the street (in case you forgot supplies), and a Kroger next door for either supplies or snacks. After waiting nearly 3 weeks with a broken washing machine and nearing Christmas (the Miele distributor keeps telling us the new one is on it's way...it's not even snowing yet- what's taking so long?)-, I broke down and took our dirties to the laundramat. This place is very CLEAN, just like the other Yelpers have noted! It took only a couple of hours to do 4 full baskets of laundry, even a few of our early arriver- college kid's clothes! Debit/Credit card reading washers & dryers?! WOW! And, the place is very CLEAN! I even saw the attendant cleaning washers detergent dispensers & wiping insides & doors off! Amazing!
