NEVER USE THIS SHOP! DO NOT! HE'S A FRAUD AND DOES NOT BACK HIS WORK! UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING RIPPED…read moreOFF, AVOID THIS FRAUD. The 1st service listed on Yelp under services is steering and suspension. Good, most of his reviews were ok as I also needed body work. Took my car there and asked if they could repair EVERYTHING. The owner Bob, assured me he could. Doesn't accept credit cards should've been my 1st clue. Paid $2k cash deposit to begin. Paid another $2k for motor mounts that Bob conveniently missed during the quote. Then paid another $2k to get back the vehicle. Yep, $6k total. As I was driving the now "repaired car" there was an extremely loud grinding noise with my suspension and steering. Yes, the reason I paid for the repair. Bob's solution was it needed an alignment. Needless to say, it wasn't the alignment. Here's what I had to pay a separate mechanic $1,300 to repair subsequently. the CV Axel, wheel hub and bearings and new control arm. When I confronted Bob, his argument was they only did body work. Bob's Yelp Page lists several services. Don't, just DO NOT FALL FOR HIS BS! I'LL BE CALLING THE BBB and local news to report all this. Save yourself some frustration and money, go to a reputable repair shop.

I cannot say enough about how kind and helpful Bob at Schnitker Body Repair is. I was in a 4 car…read moreaccident in late June on highway 75 with resulting body damage to both the front and rear end of my Nissan Altima. To make a tough situation even worse, the air conditioner was knocked out and made driving unbearable in the Texas summer. After dealing with frustrating and unhelpful repair shops, and being told that there was no availability until end of August (apparently due to hail storm damage from earlier this year), I found Schnitker Body Repair. From the moment I called, Bob was very helpful and worked with me through the process. He met with the insurance adjuster and spent a good amount of time going through the details of the needed repairs, ensuring that everything was covered. When I spoke with the insurance adjuster afterwards, he even made a comment about how good of a guy Bob was in making sure the estimate was fair and thorough. I thought that was a really cool thing to hear. The damage ended up being pretty extensive but Bob made sure that the smallest details were taken care of and I can honestly say that my car looks as good as new - you can't even tell that anything happened to it! I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family. They are knowledgeable, honest and provide great customer experience!! Thanks!!!

Posting on behalf of North Texas Critical Communications Group…read more SCAM ALERT: 1st indicator: Signage posted, no credit cards, no debit cards, they only want cash. 2nd indicator: During conversation with Danny, Owner, he discussed business accounting practices that are unconventional and may be illegal. We are a legally formed Texas Nonprofit Corporation that derives our funding from government grants and donations with a fleet vehicle that needed some bumper work done as well as paint. When presenting the Texas 01-339 form for Tax Exempt Certification, Danny refused stating: "if I have to pay taxes, so do you." I asked him to help me make sense of his analogy, you want us to pay taxes, with the taxpayers dollars... that doesn't make any sense. Overall this is a very sketchy place, very rude and unprofessional, very argumentative, horrible communication skills, I would give ZERO stars if able. Danny lost a sale over $15 in sales taxes that we are legally exempted from paying.

I'll start by saying Danny is a nice guy, but that's where the positivity of my experience ends…read more I just returned my truck today for the 3rd attempt to correct their repairs on hail damage. This has been a 7+ week process. The pictures speak for themselves - Multiple pieces of hail damaged trim that were paid to be replaced were not. There are still dents. The hood and tops of fenders were all they painted and it looks streaked like the paint were rolled on, yet still managed to collect bugs and dirt throughout as though it has been sprayed outside. The back edge of the hood facing the windshield didn't even get painted. There's runs in the paint on a fender. The fender emblems are even different heights and you can see where they painted over the old adhesive. The new emblems seem cheap, like Chinese eBay, and the adhesive used is thick, leaving the emblems gapped from the body and loose. Believe it or not, this looked worse the first time they attempted to return it to me. Instead of repainting it, they have been cheaping out and attempting to buff it to death to hide the lack of quality but all this has done is thin the paint and create swirls and hazing. For close to $14,000 I expect something besides amateur results and so many cut corners. I will update this review once this next correction attempt is made. This may become legal. Buyer Beware.
