All the places want to charge you an extra $20 on top of a patch or something that you have. Don't expect a big brand new shop it's a mom and pop shop but that's all you need right? They offer a multi service inspection for every one trying to create a larger ticket which is fine but I suggest getting other quotes and pricing on larger jobs above a filter change. To make a tough situation even worse, the air conditioner was knocked out and made driving unbearable in the Texas summer. After dealing with frustrating and unhelpful repair shops, and being told that there was no availability until end of August (apparently due to hail storm damage from earlier this year), I found Schnitker Body Repair. From the moment I called, Bob was very helpful and worked with me through the process. He met with the insurance adjuster and spent a good amount of time going through the details of the needed repairs, ensuring that everything was covered. When I spoke with the insurance adjuster afterwards, he even made a comment about how good of a guy Bob was in making sure the estimate was fair and thorough. I thought that was a really cool thing to hear. The damage ended up being pretty extensive but Bob made sure that the smallest details were taken care of and I can honestly say that my car looks as good as new - you can't even tell that anything happened to it! Motorists Beware!!! When my RV threw a rod, I called Sadler Auto and Diesel Repair. After two…read moredifferent engines, the mechanic was still not able to get my RV running correctly. This RV has a standard Chevy small block engine--not difficult to work on or to find parts for. When I was finally able to drive it out, backfiring, sputtering, and not picking up speed, I brought it to a good mechanic. There, I was informed that the block was no good. When I tried to contact Sadler's, I was told to call someone else, then my calls went unanswered. The quality of work was so poor, that I had several other mechanics work on it just so I could get it home. Now, I can no longer use my RV which is very critical to the work I do. This mechanic has single handedly destroyed my life due to his incompetence. He also replaced good parts on my engine with cheap, after market parts, and parts that were incorrect.
