I cannot say enough about how kind and helpful Bob at Schnitker Body Repair is. I was in a 4 car accident in late June on highway 75 with resulting body damage to both the front and rear end of my Nissan Altima. To make a tough situation even worse, the air conditioner was knocked out and made driving unbearable in the Texas summer. After dealing with frustrating and unhelpful repair shops, and being told that there was no availability until end of August (apparently due to hail storm damage from earlier this year), I found Schnitker Body Repair. From the moment I called, Bob was very helpful and worked with me through the process. He met with the insurance adjuster and spent a good amount of time going through the details of the needed repairs, ensuring that everything was covered. When I spoke with the insurance adjuster afterwards, he even made a comment about how good of a guy Bob was in making sure the estimate was fair and thorough. I thought that was a really cool thing to hear. The damage ended up being pretty extensive but Bob made sure that the smallest details were taken care of and I can honestly say that my car looks as good as new - you can't even tell that anything happened to it! This is my second time using this repair shop, first being damaged of $15000, this second one costing the insurance company $4000. The staff was always a pleasure when I RANDOMLY dropped in to see the progress on my vehicle, Bob was even generous enough to send me picture updates throughout the process. The customer service is top notch and their work is even better! I was treated fairly and was given honesty, that is all a person can ask for. Bob at the shop made sure I didn't have any further issues with insurance and my truck is back to new! Thank you to the Staff! Don't even bother wasting your time because they don't waste their time on you. I had a simple question-an estimate on installing a spoiler. I got the shrug off response of "need to see it". Ok, so I asked if they could google the image of the spoiler I wanted, and no response. I reached back out and they said they had no information off of a picture. My response was, good customer service involves ASKING the consumer about the spoiler to receive a better estimate and that I could always go elsewhere. Their response? "good luck". they obviously had better things to do with their time than seek out my business. read more
