From the start, Johno came out for an inspection, gave us a quote within minutes, and even walked us through what could happen once the old roof was removed. I appreciated that transparency. We agreed to the price (a little higher than some other quotes, but for good reason -- more on that below) and financing was handled right away. Two weeks later, construction day arrived. Manny and his crew were on-site bright and early. I'll admit... I overslept and had to move cars last-minute, but Manny was patient and kind about it. He was friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. He even offered to sweep up the dust from our floors after the job -- talk about going the extra mile! The team finished in about 6 hours, right before the rain rolled in. Neighborhood keep us abreast of the weather/schedule and came and did the job as soon as the weather allowed. They kept both the integrity of the roof and the need to meet a time deadline in mind and really helped us out. We are homeowners not roofing professionals, it was nice to know that they've been in Ann Arbor for so long, to know that they are well thought of in the community. We were able to trust them in their pricier advice. And for the scope of the work I feel the price was fair. A roof costs money, doing a roof the right way costs money but at least I know we paid a fair price for a job well done. They offer a long warranty and it's for the roof not for the owner so it transfers to new owners easily. And we know from conversations with multiple real estate agents that the warranty is solid! They were all very nice and inspired great confidence in me that the work was being done well. They provided photos along the way, so that I could follow their work. Their work is high quality, they are super knowledgeable, their pricing & estimates are fair and competitive, they communicate very well, and they take great pride in their work. We had severely damaged fascia and decking, very poor attic circulation, bad gutter layout, and aging shingles. They came up with a plan that worked and as new underlying damage was discovered, they kept us well-informed of our options. Each day, they cleaned up the site very well and took great care to not damage anything on our house or gardens.
