It was topped by a clean, fresh room that was quiet and comfortable. Stayed a couple of nights, and slept so well. We were given a choice of additional rewards points or daily room refresh. Took the latter, and were very pleased with the care taken and replenishment of items used. The complimentary evening meal with adult beverages hit the spot. It was so relaxing after the long drive. Morning breakfast was very good as well. We will certainly return.

It was my first time staying at a Drury Inn, and I was so excited bc people have mentioned how excellent their complimentary breakfast and happy hour were. What I encountered was another story, however. Breakfast consisted of powdered eggs, and happy hour has mushy, frozen veggies and a severe lack of quality. At $200 a NIGHT, it was a pricey experiment I won't be attempting again. It was kid friendly, however. Nachos every day with lackluster nacho cheese sauce and a hot dog station. Salad bar could've used more options for toppings. Boiled eggs served at breakfast could be diced for salads in the evening. Bacon at breakfast could be repurposed the same way as a topping for their baked potato night. Green onions are cheap and would've been a nice addition for the potato night. Just because you're on a limited budget doesn't mean the experience has to *feel* cheap too.

The parking garage is incredibly easy to access and has an elevator that'll take you right up to your floor, making it easy to grab things from the car, load in, etc. Often times a valet can be nice but also means your car is MIA if you need anything. The staff was so friendly (shoutout Kashif, the GM!) and really welcomed me in to this hotel. My room was quite small, but it is what it is and they have several other types of rooms should you need more space. The hotel gym was surprisingly decent as well, with a few cardio machines, and a good rack of weights, pull up bars, and more than enough to get a nice workout in. To the side, there's a saltwater pool that was nice as well, but about 10 degrees colder than I'd prefer. One reason to love a Hampton Inn is they really show out with breakfast and it was good here; cereal, oatmeal, sausage, omelettes, waffle makers, coffee, etc. When I travel, I love the ease of this and hope they keep doing it -- I'll continue to seek them out if they do. Really nothing else to add except I'd definitely stay here again and enjoyed the stay.

She recommended a great local IPA along with a Goose Island IPA, and both were excellent choices. Jill was also just a great person to chat with, which made the experience even better. The assistant manager was also incredibly helpful and did an awesome job suggesting some great local spots for dinner. The service and atmosphere at Danielle's Bar really stood out--friendly, welcoming, and relaxing. Definitely a great spot to stop by if you're staying at the Hampton Inn or just in the area!

That kind of friendly service really stood out to me. The room was another highlight. It was spacious, exceptionally clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax and work without feeling cramped. I especially appreciated the quality of the bedding, the convenient bedside USB charging ports, complimentary Wi-Fi, mini-refrigerator, and in-room coffee setup. Everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The bathroom was also spotless, and the rain shower was a nice touch. For the price, I thought the overall value was excellent. You get much more than just a place to sleep, the boutique design, comfortable accommodations, and on-site amenities make the stay feel more special without being unnecessarily expensive. The location was probably my favorite part. Being right in the Delmar Loop made it incredibly convenient to get around. There are restaurants, shops, entertainment spots, and music venues within easy walking distance, including The Pageant and Delmar Hall. It was great not having to spend much time driving around just to find something to do or grab a meal. Definitely a 5-star stay for me!

Went to the rooftop bar/restaurant. First impression, hostess leaning over the hostess desk on her phone, look her a full minute to look up and acknowledge guests. We were not the only guests. Reasonably busy nothing crazy. But the attitude and demeanor of every single employee was beyond off putting. Every single employee acting as if it was a guests privilege that they were even waiting on them is crazy work for people who work for tips. Everyone seemed so robotic, like I said very off putting. The food was good, the cocktails were all spins on classic cocktails and honestly pretty gross. All four of us each got a different one, the only one that any of is liked was the blueberry mojito. The rest that we tried just seemed off and all had kind of bitter after tastes to them. The next night we met down at the lobby bar, which is an absolute ghost town. Honestly who wants to gets cocktails were they just had breakfast buffet that morning. Zero atmosphere. The bartender was super friendly though which was a 180 degree difference from the upstairs. She was very personable, funny, and made great recommendations. Her recommendation for where to go for dinner was spectacular, was a small locally owned restaurant that had such a great cozy local feel and food was superb. Concierge level service from her.

Since I arrived so early, I had time to kill and I thought sipping a cocktail was a good way to pass time. The lobby bar, didn't have a name, it was just to right as I entered the main entrance. It's small in size, so you can kind of say it was intimate. I took a seat at the bar, but they did have several tables for groups to gather and drink. I was pleased to see that under the bar, they had hooks. I'm a big advocate for hooks being under bars. They're great for light coats and for ladies to securely store their purse. After looking over the cocktail menu, I went with a Manhattan. Wow, the young lady working as bartender, knew her craft and made me an outstanding cocktail. I watched her make it and her skills were masterful. I prefer my Manhattans up and with a dark cherry. You give me a Maraschino cherry, you lose a star in any rating. Good Cocktail, Good Service, Good Value and Relaxing Atmosphere. I'll be glad to stop by again, when I'm in Clayton.

Having stayed here several times over the years, I've consistently found it to embody the high-end service and quality you'd expect from the Ritz-Carlton brand. The Lobby Lounge is an excellent place to unwind. There's plenty of comfortable seating, a sushi bar that adds to the experience, and an atmosphere that's both elegant and inviting. Even though the lobby was bustling, it somehow still felt secluded and relaxing. One of the things I appreciated most was being able to enjoy a conversation without having to compete with loud music or excessive noise. Service was exceptional from start to finish. We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of bubbles along with a bourbon, and everything was presented flawlessly.

I know I'm only Marriott Gold but still, I thought someone there would care enough to be interested in helping. I'll be at a function there soon and hope to report back with better service. For now, I'm avoiding this property.

When I arrived to check in, I was told they did not have any of that type of rook available. When I asked what they could do, I was hoping they would realize their mistake and perhaps give us a second room to accommodate our party. They did not. I was offered free breakfast which is not commensurate with what we needed. After speaking to the evening staff I was assured the manager would call me the next morning. I did not receive a call, and called and left a message with no call back. We had to make alternative arrangements last minute with some of our party, but this was way out of line. I would have exptected at least to be refunded the difference in the room rate as well, but no such luck. No apology, no rectification, and no follow up.
