The local Sherwin-Williams was outstanding and suppliesd me with samples, brochures and lots of tools to make my job much easier. I only used their paints and was always happy. Fast forward 40 some years and I'm still a big fan. My local store has a very good staff of friendly, knowledgeable and efficient folks. Recently Joshua was very helpful and when I called in my order for a couple gallons of paint to be mixed he had them ready to checkout and go out the door by the time I arrived just 20 minutes later. They can get busy at times but there's always been 3 or more guys hustling to take care of customers every time I've been there. I also have observed then carrying paints and whole orders our to the cars for loading. The store is clean, well stocked and organized and they always work hard to get it right which is what I've come to expect from Sherwin Williams in the places I've lived. After I left, she called me and told me that we'd had a hurricane, and I was the only one that didn't understand. She said she was the only one there. I said not true...two other people there. Then she said the other clerk was a new employee and needed help. I said I was a new customer, needed help and could have used even a hello. She said that she's said hello when we walked in and how was she supposed to keep track? That's why you acknowledge and talk to the person right in front of you...so you know. She talked over me and when she said she'd called to talk about what happened, I said how could she hear what I had to say if she couldn't shut her mouth long enough to hear. I got a "how dare you" and she hung up. Please...I came into the store excited about a new paint project and ended up dealing with an over inflated ego. Stop with the fake indignation. How does a hurricane a month plus ago equate to accepting bad service? From the previous reviews, I see this wasn't a one time, off day. They do a great job with stock, displsts, etc. and always clean, neat and the folks are always friendly. I have had some stang out experiences with the framing and art department but last year I had a super lady there that help me pick my very first time buying fake flowers for a fall hanging basket. She stayed right with me for a long time and did the assembling for me, she was magic! The newest thing is a big Amazon automated pick up box in the front which I utilized for the first time today. I went shopping for a couch in November 2021 and purchased the rather expensive service plan (20%…read moreof purchase price on a $4,000 couch I believe) that is supposed to cover wear, tear, accidents, cleaning, etc and ultimately replace any furniture that isn't able to be cleaned. On July 9th, my 2-year got sick on the couch and left a large stain on the seat cushion and one of the back cushions. On July 11th, I called Malouf to file a claim and get the couch cleaned. This is where the frustration began. I constantly had to follow-up with the staff to check on the status of my claim and it took almost a month to even initiate the process. The cleaning service did come out to clean the seat cushion on August 3rd but the back cushion cover and core have to be replaced. I have called almost every day, spoke to multiple employees and sent multiple emails and still to this day have not gotten complete resolution on when or even if this will occur. I'm hoping a poor review will get the attention of someone in management or ownership but as of today, I do not recommend Malouf and will not be purchasing any more furniture from the store.

Today wasy first visit here and it's the kind of place that feels like a one-stop shop for anyone with a yard, animals, or a love for outdoor projects. Walking in, you're hit with that familiar smell of feed and fresh soil, which is what I expected and it sets the tone for what they're all about, ya' know practical stuff for folks who like to get their hands dirty. :-) The garden center caught my eye right away. It's tucked off to the side but feels like its own little world. They've got a solid mix of plants, from flowering shrubs to herbs and veggie starters, all looking healthy and well-kept. The selection isn't massive, but it's thoughtful and caters to what grows well around here. I browsed and took note of the tomato plants and mulch, and the prices looked fair, maybe a touch lower than the big box stores. The staff was very, very friendly and really knew their stuff, too. (Thank you Mary) Inside, the store's laid out quite well with tools, fencing, pet supplies, and feed stacked high, with clear signs so you're not wandering forever. It's clean, not fancy, but that's the vibe you expect. I noticed they had a good range of lawnmowers and chainsaws, which is handy if you're tackling bigger projects. The checkout folks were friendly and there's several registers so waiting isn't an issue. The parking lot's a big plus. It's huge, with plenty of room for trucks and trailers, which makes sense given the kind of customers they get. I didn't have to circle around or squeeze into a tight spot, plus there's also a drive-thru pickup area, which I didn't use but seems convenient if you're grabbing something heavy like feed bags.
