I go here when I need a certain length of chain cut for my fence, or if I only need a few nuts and bolts for a project instead of a pre-packaged bag. I always get prompt, friendly and professional assistance here. One employee stands out, and that is the tall German assistant, Edgar. That man certainly knows his way around tools and other areas of DIY. While many prices are higher than at other larger hardware stores, the quality of product and service here can't be beat. Even the garden center has plants that are not over-fertilized so that when you take them home, they die from nitrogen withdrawal. Most plants I get from Ace survive and thrive.

The reasonable price of this paint kept our job within budget without sacrificing quality. A year latter we did some remodeling and needed to touch up. We asked the guys at Southwestern to try to match the color. Their first mix was close but it was easy to see where I touched up. They mixed a second gallon at no cost and this one matched the walls perfectly. That's great customer service.
