We had such a great experience at Home Depot thanks to two outstanding employees, Jim and Landin in appliances, who helped my husband and me get our new fridge! My dad came along since he had the truck with no camper shell, and even he was impressed by these two gentlemen. They took the time to clearly explain all of the warranty information, making sure we understood everything. Not only were they knowledgeable and professional, but they were also incredibly easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor, which made the whole process enjoyable. Genuinely the worst Home Depot ever for customer service. Workers are rude and incompetent. They don't know where anything is and would rather stand in a circle talking than help customers. Has happened multiple times now where I need help and am standing waiting for workers to finish the conversation and always hit with a super rude "umm can I help you" as if I'm just standing there watching them talk for the fun of it. Especially the woman with crazy colored hair that works checkout. She is beyond rude. read more

The older woman at the register in the garden area is always rude and never smiles. HD offers a military discount but she wasn't taking the digital VA id from the VA thats on my phone. The woman and all staff need to be trained or retrained in customer service and VA discount procedures. When I finally found the fence pickets I wanted they were in upstock. When I finally found another employee to help he argued that the ones up were the same crappy ones as below but they had been rained on. Well, they were broken & and very much not the same. He resufsed to get the ones I wanted down. The check out process is terrible. Self check out sucks. 1 lane was open w a lady sitting on a bucket checking out 1 person with 15 items of the same type 1 x 1. All the self check outs were full. I don't pay the in store prices to work on checking out or to be treated so rudely. read more

It took 3 trips to get our new vertical blinds cut correctly so they refunded half of the price for the blinds. Their attitude and attention to our problem is what makes great customer service! Do not use their window or flooring services! I had $10,000.00 worth of windows installed and they broke two of the ten windows during installation. They said the windows were reordered and it would take one month. It has been three months. You call the store and they don't answer, put you on hold, hang up, knowingly transfer you to an unstaffed department, or tell you the employee is with a customer. There is no national customer service to complain to about your poor local service. So, I might not be as upset if it weren't for my flooring experience. I ordered $7,000.00 worth of flooring. The hardwoods went well and were even put in a day early. (Although, the supplies were way over ordered.). The carpet delivered on the other hand was the wrong carpet. They said it would take 2-8 days to replace. Well, my furniture was outside on two covered porches with plastic over it for a month. I could have moved the furniture back in if the installers would have put down the carpet that was the correct carpet in two rooms. But no, they rolled it up and took it away as they were told to do by their boss. Well, it is monsoon season and it's hard to keep the plastic on in high winds. So yes, after a month of monsoon rains my carpet arrived. Most of my furniture seems fine after cleaning and scorpion removal. So yes, elder(60+) abuse again because I guess I was supposed to move the furniture twice? Make your life easier and go to Lowes. You might pay a little more, but it will be worth it. They also have great appliance deals. Again, there are some delays, but at least they call you! read more

From the store manager(s)... to the ladies in customer service/returns.... to Tom in the paint department....(by the way Tom is AWESOME!) to the gang in the garden/outdoor department.... HD is the place to shop. They price match. They do not haggle when you're not pleased with products/services... they hire folks who are knowledgeable about the products they sell... who genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs! I came here needing several things for putting in a new fence, and had quite a long list I made at home prior to coming in. When I came in the store, I saw Will, an employee walking in from outside and asked him several questions. I think Will could tell by my questions I was going to need quite a bit of help and assisted me w my purchase start to finish, stopping occasionally to answer customer questions. He even came out and loaded the numerous bags of concrete mix into my car. Without his assistance I would likely have been in the store forever!! I appreciated the great customer service! read more

Have had a business account with this particular Home Depot for over 10 years and have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars here. EVERY SINGLE TIME I go in the employees seem to run away from you and always seem like it's a HUGE inconvenience that you're even there shopping. I stood and watched as 6 employees stood around talking about their night while I just stood and waited for them to finish. She. They finally did stop talking and noticed me and as soon as they did they all put gloves on and hurried back to the "WORK" they were all busy doing. Went to the ask the commercial bay door employee who helps load for the "Pro Loading Zone" and he told me "go and find someone else". I will never shop at Home Depot again after today. We purchased a dishwasher on 02/12/2023. Paid the ridiculously high fee for delivery and installation, which was done (by a contractor, I believe) on 02/15. While installing they managed to chip a large chunk out of our countertop. Approximately 6" x 3". They gave us a number to call to file a claim which we did that day. We have called twice to follow up. It is now 10 days later and we haven't heard anything back from them. Now our plumbing under the sink is leaking, so I 'm inclined to believe they messed that up too. read more

I got called today to leave feedback on my recent purchase. On the eve of 3/16 I ordered and paid for an item to be picked up at the store. I rec'd an e-mail stating it was ready for pick but required "special handling." Went to the store 3/17 in the afternoon. It was not busy. The kind gentleman at the pick up counter called someone and the conversation didn't sound good. I was told "2 trucks came in and they're pretty busy back there." Then the phone rang and more conversation. "You're order is coming right up." Right about here I realized that I could've walked in, picked out my item, paid for it at the self check out and been on my way home. But I was trapped, waiting, already paid for. The worst customer service ever. Went in to buy a variable action drill on 2 different days and the first day nobody would help me the 2nd day the guy answered his phone while I was talking to him. Not only was I not done asking my questions and explaining to him what I was doing hoping he could offer some guidance. If I could give minus stars I would! Since moving here in May I have been completely disillusioned and dumbfounded about how this store actually stays in business. Coming from an area where Home Depot was the closest and not necessarily the best, one of my first places to visit here in town was this Home Depot to pick up some things for my renovation. Bad mistake. Their selection is terrible. Customer service is nonexistent. Lots of things they don't offer and or not stock and tell you to go online to buy. I was in a pinch and I was price matching for a refrigerator in May. The only reason why I bought one from Home Depot is because they gave me an extra % off the price match price. I SHOULD OF STAYED WITH LOWES!!!!! Not only was the customer service inadequate & unknowledgeable here at Home Depot but they did not inform me that when purchasing an extended warranty on your refrigerator or any other appliance the small print states that you have to buy preventative maintenance parts from Home Depot only to be reimbursed!! The kicker is the company that services their extended warranty is the same company that services it for Lowes as well so I really don't understand the difference other than greed. That's what I get for being greedy myself. I should've stayed at Lowe's with a customer service that was absolutely amazing. Now I'm stuck in hell with this crappy company for any services that I need for this refrigerator. After my last encounter with the Home Depot flooring department I swore never to spend another dime there. But you know what they say about never - and never saying it, and all that. My mother-in-law had purchased some items there and asked me to fetch more of the same. The specific brand could only be acquired at HD. I prepared for battle. Since my previous, far-from-glowing review warranted a response from HD management, I idly wondered if there'd be posters of me, featuring my Yelp prolife picture, hanging throughout the store. All captioned: "PUMMEL WITH 2X4 ON SIGHT!" I found myself wishing my sunglasses had a fake nose and mustache attached. But I braved the enemy, sans disguise, and - surprise, surprise - they were friendly and helpful! Every single employee smiled at me. Every other employee stopped what they were doing to ask if I needed assistance. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left the checkout line, absolutely pleasant. I'm not eating crow here. I cannot vouch for their installation teams or their degree of expertise, but they earned my praise today for casual customer service. And It's possible the peace talks can begin. read more

Had to run to HD to return an item. Pulled up my E-receipt at the counter. After a thorough examination of the part, rep calls over another expert to check it out. They proceed to educate me on how I had installed it incorrectly. The lesson was appreciated, smugness was not. MIL/GOV discount is always appreciated, telling me about the various parts/pieces that I should use and not showing me where exactly in the store to pick it up was not. (There was five of you up front not directly engaged with any customers) How you treat customers always trumps in my book, glad there are many options in town. All this for an item that was less than $5. read more

We normally shop at Lowe's but after not finding what we needed there we went over to Home Depot. At first I was frustrated that I couldn't find anyone to help us, however when help did arrive, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Jacob spent a lot of time with us explaining and fixing the problem we had. We later had a question and found Jane that helped answer it and guide is in how to resolve the issue. I came in during Black Friday to buy a dishwahser and refrigrator for my new home in Sierra Vista. When the installer came by, they said that we did not pay for an installation, but would do it for free. I had the receipt for the installation on both. Just the same, they installed both units. However, they would not take the dishwasher away because nothing was paid for hauling it away. I called Home Depot to validate that. They said it was not part of the installation. I told them that sales agent did not mention a haul away option. I was pretty much told that was an error of the sales agent and that I would have personally get rid of it. They also suggested that I move the refrigerator to make room for the new unit. That ended up not being the case. With all that said, it appears that they don't really care about the customer and would rather nickle and dime you. All I can say is that I am highly disappointed. Hence, I would recommend going elsewhere for your appliances than Home Depot. read more

I never leave reviews but this has really been bothering me. In March time frame I ordered a very specific white vinyl fence to be used indoors and with dogs from Home Depot. I did a ton a research and decided on the fence that would hold up best for my business. I was told 4 to 6 week delivery. I recieved an email in June that it was ready to schedule pickup. I called the store and they said all items were and and scheduled me for 2 weeks out. The truck arrived and no fencing was on it. Bear in mind I closed my business for 4 days for the install in the middle of the pandemic when money was extremely tight. I called the store and the driver called the store and we were both told that it was a mistake and the fence had not arrived yet. I had already tore down the old fencing and paid my contractors around $600 for the demolition and install. Now I closed my business and had no fence to put up. Went to the store and they sold me some temporary wooden fence at a discounted price. Fast forward to August and the fence finally arrived and they delivered it. Had to once again close my business for the install. Paid the contractor another $500 to take down wood fence and install the vinyl fence. Contractor called me in to look at the fence after install because it seemed so weak. Well it was NOT the fence I ordered. Went to the pro desk to find out the issue and they admitted they changed my order because they thought this would work better. The fence was crap. So I asked to have it returned and the correct fencing to be ordered. They said that was fine but I would have to bring back unless I wanted to wrap and band it all up. So now I do not have a truck and had to again pay my contractor to return the product. Called and spoke to the manager about how much this is costing me in labor and closing the business. He said all he can do is give me a $400 credit. I said fine. Than 2 weeks ago the right fencing came in. Asked when they were gonna deliver it. The pro desk informed me that it was not being delivered and to have my contractor come get it. Oh and I owned them $200 and something. Told them no take it off my credit and if there is an issue to call me back. I heard nothing back so assumed everything was fine. Than get another call from the pro desk informing me to come get the fencing. Sent my contractor over to pick it up, paying him again. Contractor arrives and pro desk says they will not give it to them until I pay the 200 and something. Told them no take off my credit. They said they could not find anything in the system about the manager giving me a credit. So I called cooperate and asked to speak to someone about the issue that is not at the store and explained the situation. Cooperate than told me to go to the store and I would get a full refund and the credit back on my card so I could get it somewhere else. Went to the store and recieved most of my refund. Was not the full amount and they refused to give me the credit and said the manager was on vacation so nothing anyone can do. Called cooperate again and was told the issue is resolved as far as their end. So ordered new fencing from wam bam. Much better quality and faster delivery time. Also have to close business for a 3rd time to have temporary wood fence taken down and wam bam fence put up. Never in my life have I had such bad customer service. I know to them I am a little fish and do not spend as much as the big contractors. From now on I will travel the extra 5 miles and use Lowes. read more

After we got there it took 2 hours for someone to get it off the shelf and into the truck. Besides a 2 hour jack around, it was in tore up boxes. They assured us it was all there. Just had to run in to get a couple items. I can never resist running through the indoor plant section. I know it's winter, but I was really disappointed. A good number of the plants were dead! -and I don't just mean a little droopy, and lacking water, they were dead. -then, for some reason, the way to the registers was blocked off and I had to make my way to the other side of the store to pay. After many years as a loyal Home Depot customer today I was officially my last trip there. I picked up my three items and proceeded to the check out, the cashier promptly rang me and made small polite conversation. After I showed her my Department of Veterans Affairs card to receive my 10% discount, which mind you was a whopping $1.22, I was notified that a manager had to verify every military discount given from now on. 30 min later a manager came and said yup it good and walked away. To all those who are serving or have served and expect to use the discount, prepare to wait for a manager each time you want to use the discount. Time to take my money to Lowes. read more

I went to this Home Depot to purchase a kitchen sink. I asked the employee responsible for the kitchen section if the sink was scratch resistant and he said he could not answer the question because he'd be liable for the answer. So I told the employee that he can't even answer a straight forward question, Eventually the employee finally said no, it was not scratch resistant. After careful inspection of the sink I noticed that the sink had been used already. There were marks and scuffs on it. I told the employee about the sink and advised him not to put that for sale due to the damage. The employee did not even listen and just placed on the aisle for the next customer.... WOW!! Occasionally, I find myself lost looking for something in the wrong sections of the store. More often than not, an employee is close by and guides me to the right isles to complete my shopping. read more

My 9 month long flooring installation adventure, paid for in advance at this Home Depot, resulted in unlicensed installers at my home 3X. Literally, 10+ occasions with various people coming to my home, trips to city hall to confirm the project was within code and an installer trying to bilk me out of $1300 for the side job to bring my project up to code when it already was. A trip to the dump to dispose of all the packaging materials they left, countless phone calls which would be returned within 24-48 hours and never were. Ultimately, the whole experience was nightmarish! They are liars, cheaters, and 100% lacking in any moral or ethical standards. Run away. read more

Used to be my favorite place. Just had a major roof leak. Went in with photos of what might be the problem. The guy couldn't be bothered. As I showed him the photos, his attitude clearly was that he had zero interest. I have never had that level of "whatever dude" from someone in a home center.
