I noticed the sign said CLOSED and let her know. She laughed, but she never changed the sign. She went on to refuse my every request for paint, using one excuse after another. No matter that I had the paint number from the Miller paint sample book, as if all the colors were no longer available. She clearly just wanted me to go away so she could sit by herself in an empty store. The following Saturday I went to Sherwin Williams with my Miller paint sample book. I got a perfect match, and was in and out of the store in ten minutes. I will never go back to Miller again. Thirty year customer here, and I was basically denied service from a lazy, inexperienced employee.

I'm in the process of purchasing real estate in Vancouver WA for the first time, and I know I prefer Benjamin Moore's Aura paint. This shop was very convenient to the home of the relative I was staying with, so I stopped by to pick up paint samples to bring to a few condo showings. I will return when it is time to purchase my paint unless subsequent visits prove any less pleasant and helpful. This is a relatively small shop in a strip mall across from a Safeway grocery store, but, so far, I have a very positive view of the customer service.

Josh, multiple times has offered clear prep suggestions to make my painting projects go easier. The store employees are always helpful, give great suggestions and always offer to carry my paint cans to my car. They have a great sense of customer service. We needed to have the house painted immediately per the home inspection. I was away on a work trip for several weeks in Eastern Oregon so my wife had to arrange the whole thing by herself. She picked out the colors and cordinated the appointment. I returned to a beautifully painted house. However, the painters only left us leftovers of 2 of 3 paints used. They did not leave us any extra for touchup for the main color - Benjamin Moore in Midnight Blue. When we had a new front door installed I needed some touch up paint to cut in around the door so I made a trip to Morgan Paint Co. They sold me the correct paint color after looking up the code. They tired selling me the right line of paint, as there were three levels. I went with what I thought was right, but when I got it home and used it, the color was correct, but it was the wrong level of glossiness. It was too flat and thus didn't blend in at all. I took the gallon of paint back and after a little more research, the crew at Morgan Paint Co. set me up with the correct paint, a low gloss this time. They were extremely helpful and exhcanged my paint with no hassles. Now my front door looks perfect! The price per gallon was a little high, but thanks to the quality of the paint and the high level or peraonal customer service I received, it was worth every penny.
