Front of store usually houses rotating seasonal items. They have a wide variety of kitchen/storage and other less hardware centric consumer items. Oscar and the painting section crew are great with custom colors and color matching. Being able to pick up a quart of a custom color has been very helpful for me over the years. Steve and the other hardware/store crew are always good at answering my random questions, leading me in the right direction. The checkout staff always changes, but employees are consistently nice.

I found Sherwin-Williams' Homescapes paint to be superior to any paint I've used for exteriors in…read more15 years. The staff, particularly the manager of this store however, is inferior to any store manager I've met in the same time. I purchased one gallon and before opening it, found I needed 4 gallons more. I called to find out if SW would take it back in exchange for a 5 gallon can and the manager said, "What do you think I run here, a barter exchange?" Then he wanted the receipt, which I could not find. Then he said to bring it in. Presenting the can, he easily found proof of my transaction and reminded me his store was still (after a month) very low on inventory. This, I learned later is a big problem with SW nationwide. Luckily, the manager found four more 1-Gallon cans and then proceeded to charge me the per-1G-can-price instead of the 5-Gallon can price. I protested, saying he was penalizing me for not having the right inventory. Normally, any other store, let alone a manager of same, will do customer the courtesy of discounting not only the extra cost of his inventory mismanagement, but my inconvenience of having to deal with 5 cans! Nope, this manager wouldn't reason. I even told him how I "broke brand" from my usual vendor (who never had any supply chain problems throughout Covid) to buy his product and how his rude response to my request was going to result in never coming back to Sherwin Williams again, no matter how good their paint was. In front of all his employees, who had come out to learn how he managed his business, he merely shrugged as if it didn't matter. Here is a clear example of a company with obvious C-Level incompetence - SW seems to be the only paint company with infamous supply chain issues - and local store management incompetence. A top-to-bottom failure. I say, stay away from SW and if you're a quant - short the stock. You can't go wrong.
