I stopped in here and picked up some primer as well as two gallons of BM Aura paint. The lady that assisted me was quite friendly and helpful in finding the paint I needed. The prices are a bit higher than what you'll find at the big box stores, but I think this is due more to the BM paint as opposed to the store's pricing. I was very satisfied with my transactions as well as the end result and would definitely go back when/if I need more paint.

I got 2 gallons of serious oil based paint in Space Shuttle Grey oh and by the way it's the same paint they use on the space shuttle. For $13 a gallon. That's right. IF you could get it anywhere else which you can't it would be $80 a gallon. Then I got 5 gallons of stain for $10 each. Forget the Memorial Day paint "sales" at Home Depot. You would be paying 3 times as much for an inferior quality paint. And the accessories?? Rollers for 75 cents. 4 inch brushes for $3.99. And lavender scented rubber gloves for $1. The employee who helped me purchase paint on a weekend, while very friendly and pleasant, was not as knowledgeable as I would have expected. On a separate visit, I had an interaction with another employee, who - while pleasant - interacted with me, a female customer, completely differently than he did with the male customer he helped directly after me, which is off-putting, to say the least. Additionally, I think some of their merchandise has been on the shelf for awhile, and the quality has been compromised by the time the customer purchases and uses it (this happened to me with a tube of nail hole filler, which was dried out and came out the wrong end when I opened it for the first time). The employee who works the cash register on weekends may need some additional training - she made a mistake with our order, which she had no idea how to fix. It had to be rerung and took a long time to resolve. Overall, I will probably go back for future needs due to the convenience and small nature of the store, but with the expectation that it could be a hit-or-miss experience.
