Everyone very friendly. I got some lovely Roma tomatoes, fresh garlic, and Japanese eggplant to make eggplant parm. A great local option for fresh seasonal produce and more. Worth a stop.

The rest of the tables were from local shops and restaurants selling jewelry, CBD products, candles, flowers, and bakery sweets. I found Yalla at the market which I'm glad! They had amazing juice and baba ganoush there. Be Chocolat was making Belgian waffles and frozen hot chocolate but I ended up going in store which was across from the market. It was a cute market but very very small. If I lived locally, I think I'd visit again but it isn't worth the trip up from Stamford.

Keep in mind that there is a "Jones Family Farm Pumpkinseed Hill" at 120 Beardsley Rd., and then the "Jones Valley Farm/Jones Winery" at 606 Walnut Tree Rd. My GPS accidentally took me to the Pumpkinseed Farm at first, but it wasn't a big deal because the winery is just a few minutes away. Once I was in the right place, a staff member greeted me and gave me the wine/food menu. They have a lot of different areas to sit, including a patio with tables/umbrellas (where they had live music playing), a pavilion with tables underneath, an upper patio that was covered by a pergola with leaves/vines on top, and an inside bar area with seating. The inside bar area has garage doors that were open, leading out to the upper patio. Even though it was a hot day, I sat under the pergola and it was surprisingly cool underneath! After sitting down, a staff member quickly came over and took my drink/food order. I tried a glass of the Sunshine White, which was delicious! It was on the sweeter side though. Keep in mind that they only sell wine by the glass on the menu, but they do have a store where you can buy bottles to go. I also ordered the Simply Cheese Plate, which came with sharp cheddar cheese, Jones Berry Chutney, and sea salt crackers. This was excellent! They also do have a "Light Fare" menu with things like a hummus plate, cheesecake, popcorn, etc. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. They had a "Bouquet Bar" set up where you could buy fresh cut flowers, as well as a small gift shop. Overall a very cool winery in Shelton, I would definitely recommend!

They have a good deal of vendors, I'd like to see a few more, but enough to occupy you for some time. I typically spend about 30 minutes to an hour here when I visit on a Saturday afternoon. They are open on Saturday from 9 am - 1 pm. There is no entrance fee, and all of the vendors have very fair prices. I've bought fresh vegetables and local flowers from here before. My flowers lasted over a week and were a hit. I love the food trucks, with Tasty Yolk being my absolute favorite and go-to breakfast stop. I also love the Tipsy Cone Ice Cream truck; please try their specials, they are amazing. These two trucks typically have the longest line, and it's easy to see why. We've also stopped at BRYAC for shrimp (not for me), and I was told they were delicious (I don't care for seafood). With all of the food options, it would be great if they had a few additional tables and chairs where people could sit and eat for a few minutes. There is usually only one or two tables people will fight for every few minutes. They bring in great music and kids have the opportunity to run around and enjoy. Parent's I would recommend bringing a few toys, like a football, beach ball, etc. for simple entertainment. Parking is a bit tricky, I never find a spot in the lot, but I have luck on the side streets most of the time. Tip, it can get buggy here, so be sure to spray yourself before you go, it will save you a good deal of bug bites!

They did have a sign saying you could donate via Venmo, Zelle, etc. but no cash jar - I wanted to donate cash so asked them why no jar. They said the farmers market organizers did NoT allow it! Are you serious?! Other vendors literally have tip jars at their booths. It is a travesty for the town farmers market not to support the town animal shelter! I am writing to bring this to the attention of whoever made this atrocious mandate, or perhaps it's an error in communication. Absolutely allow our town shelter to receive donations any way they can from those attending the market. We go to support the local farmers / don't you think we want to support the animal shelter too? Speaking of animals, Eaglewood Farms, a weekly vendor offers pet treats. I've overlooked this fact on every visit. They are a hit of the household! And, you can recycle your egg cartons with this vendor too. I love that!

It was my cousins first time here so we all went for the $8.50 each hayride, not included with the $13 each admission. We took a walk down the corn maze and took advantage of many photo ops. I like the store options better at Silverman's farm but still love and enjoy the products at Jones. I got my mother a bag of apples, my son a bottle of apple cider, and my daughter cranberry pumpkin cookies that she ended up sharing with us. They were fresh with a clean taste. I wish I would have took advantage of the coupon given to me and took the time to purchase some pumpkins before I left, but I rushed on to their nearby winery before hitting the road home.

You could also purchase bottles of their wine a stand onsite. They also had hayrides for an additional fee. There was ample parking with attendants. There were no bathrooms, just port o potties. They had such a nice setup that I feel they could've splurged on the trailer looking bathroom rentals vs. the construction site port o potties. A better bathroom would've been nice since this is a family-friendly place with lots of small children.
