Sherwood Groves replaced the front struts on my 2017 Escape. They failed to seat the left axle properly resulting on the destruction of the transmission. They refused to accept any responsibility for the damage. Erin Groves said she would look into the matter and would call me back, she never called me back. The damage to the car was diagnosed by another Ford garage. BBB complaint was filed and they failed to respond to them. If they would have done right by me I probably would have bought a replacement car from them. Safe to say not dealing with them again. read more

Where do I start? Back in 2009, I never thought I'd be able to afford to buy a truck from an actual dealership, but I thought, what the heck, I'd give it a shot. I pulled into Sherwood Groves and spoke with one of their fantastic salesmen, and was treated like a person, not a "sale." We went over many options on a vehicle that was right for me, and my budget, and they never tried to force me to buy more, or steer me away from what I could afford. About two months after buying my used truck there, my alternator died. I called up Sherwood Groves, and explained what had happened to the service department. They asked how long ago I had bought the vehicle, and I told them. Even though I was out of warranty, they stated that if I brought the vehicle in to them, they would split the cost of the alternator, and waive the installation fee. Even though they did not have to do this, they made me a lifelong customer. Fast forward to this past Friday, 4/10/15. I came in to the dealership to trade in that same truck on something newer. I told my salesman, Chris Case, just what I could afford, and he showed me what there was out there. I was fighting myself on this purchase, just because I did not want to have a payment on a truck again, but it was a necessary purchase as my old truck was just getting too old. Chris never pressured me into making a decision, nor did any of the other members of Sherwood Groves. In fact, they suggested that I sleep on it, and come back in the morning to discuss more options, even to look at other vehicles to start all over. They could see that I was not happy with what I thought was the only vehicle I could afford. With a fresh start the following day, Chris and I went over several other choices of vehicle that were in my price range, and Avery Snell worked the numbers to find out which deal would fit my budget perfectly. I am a completely satisfied customer in every regard! I will always come back to Sherwood Groves, because start to finish, they are the BEST dealership in town! read more

Put deposit on a 2017 Shelby on a Monday. Financed vehicle, had check in hand, and was to make 6 hour drive to dealership on Saturday to finalize paperwork. We had a massive snowstorm in my area, so I contacted dealership to advise that I would not be able to make it until Monday (dealership closed on Sunday). Was told that they would not hold vehicle, regardless of deposit - would put vehicle back up for sale. I offered to overnight the check, to no avail. Reluctantly, I made the trip to the dealership only to discover that the driver's side door of the vehicle had a fitment issue (not disclosed by dealer prior to purchase). General Manager made aware, would not personally discuss the issue, deferred to the salesman who was unwilling to resolve matter. I have been buying a new vehicle every 2 or 3 years for the past 30+ years and have dealt with many dealerships across many states - this is the first time I have ever had such a negative experience. read more

I took my truck there to have a small dent on the hood fixed when I got it back it looked worse than when it went in. My hood had fish eyes all over it. to make a long story short after 3times of fixing my hood 1 time for a small dent in the middle and another two trying to fix their screw up I still have fish eyes on the hood. this is the worst service I have ever had!!!!! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Stay away go to a real body shop. the worst thing I was told is we had a new guy working on it. who lets a new guy work on a $50,000 truck and not check their work. sales dept.is awesome but stay away from the service dept. read more
