Worst banking experience I've ever had.I took out an auto loan managed by 5/3rd. I signed up for…read moreautomatic withdrawal, and the withdrawal never happened. I called every month for FIVE months to get help. The branch manager told me that the routing number and account number were flip-flopped when they put the information in their system. Even when this was resolved, the payment still wouldn't come out automatically. I've never had this much trouble with a bank before and have been extremely disappointed that they can't manage to do something as simple as a monthly charge. If Netflix can handle it, it's pretty embarrassing that a bank can't.

We have not been happy with the Defiance branch of Fifth Third since we moved up north two years…read moreago. We did not have these problems when we lived in Dayton and banked at Fifth Third since 2007. We were talked into getting a new, improved credit card in July by our account specialist. The bank was supposed to set up auto pay which we had for our old card. They didn't do that. Our bill did not get paid on Thursday. We never got a notice or reminder. Our card was declined on Saturday so we went to the bank in person, paid the bill, and thought we had the issue resolved. It is now Monday night and our card is still declined. We called customer service and were told they will take care of it tomorrow. Their excuse was "we don't work on weekends". Last time I checked, Monday (August 23) is a workday, not part of the weekend. Fifth Third has crapped on us for the final time. We have been talking about finding a new bank and now Fifth Third has made that decision for us. ByeBye Fifth Third. You suck!

They don't care about their people and will do anything to avoid…read morehelping you. in order to even have them tell you options (that they never mentioned for over a month!) you have to be mean. you should not have to be rude and yell at people for them to help you and do their jobs! if you can go to a different banking system!
