Closest branch I believe was in Indianapolis... way too far away for me. 2) I asked my realtor if there was any banks he would recommend, he mentioned this one. I reached out and called the bank and met with Rhonda Dean, the loan officer for the bank. We told her we were in the process of selling our home down in Homestead, Florida and were going to buy a house in the area. We also advised we were interested in opening up a bank account and transferring our funds from our old bank to Citizens National Bank. She immediately got to work. She got Joyce and James from the bank to help us set up our accounts and started working on our loan. She was helpful, always a phone call or email away as we had to do a lot of the early work from Miami, Florida. She was awesome! Helping us get our loan and made this tough process as smooth as possible. Everyone at the bank we have worked with has been patient, friendly and very helpful! The bank is not a stand alone building but a part of a modern, multiuse facility. There were spots for 2-3 tellers inside and two offices for loans, accounts, and business banking. As a chain, they have branches and ATMs all over the United States which is a positive for people who live, travel, and work in multiple states. I was greeted quickly when I walked in by the teller and the branch manager. After telling them what I needed I worked with Grace, their personal banker, to set up a new account. She went over all the options for different accounts, had literature prepared I could take with me, and answered all my questions. She was organized, professional, efficient, extremely personable, and polite. It took less than 20 minutes to get everything set up. I was able to make my first deposit the same day I opened my account, set up direct deposit, and was on my way with a smile on my face from a great experience. The ATM sucked up the check, aligned it perfectly, read the amount on the check, asked for confirmation of the amount and even offered a printout of the check image. Amazing. My entire transaction, performed while straddling a running moped, took less than 2 minutes. Also, the staff inside the bank always is fast, friendly and helpful. They don't mind if you forgot to fill out a slip or want your withdrawal in odd denominations.
