I never thought I'd be writing this, but I wanted to share what happened during my time as a…read morepatient here. I was originally a patient when Dr. Daisy was there. I had two extractions with her and then started an implant process with Dr. Patel in 2022/2023 after Dr. Daisy left. Over almost three years, I went through three different attempts at getting a crown, and each time seemed more painful than the last. As time went on, I felt like I was bothering them whenever I called them about the pain or mentioned that the implant felt loose. Between the second and third crown attempt, I got a second opinion from another dentist who told me the crown was loose and suggested I go back to let them know. When I returned and mentioned this, I was told it was normal to "feel" that way. It wasn't until I explained that another dentist had confirmed it that they removed the crown and said they'd send it back to the lab. After over a year of this, I honestly started questioning whether I was imagining the pain. The third crown attempt became loose the very next day after it was placed. During my final appointment, Dr. Patel explained that she could bury the implant or I could find an oral surgeon on my own or she could recommend one, to have it removed, as she couldn't take it out herself, despite being the one who had put it in. I decided to seek another opinion and eventually saw an oral surgeon who referred me to a prosthodontist. The prosthodontist confirmed that something was genuinely wrong - the implant hadn't integrated properly, which explained my constant pain. He explained that if I didn't have it removed, I risked serious complications like infection. I found an oral surgeon who removed the implant, which I had to pay for myself. Now I'm recovering from that surgery and, because the process took so long, I need additional corrective treatment. This has put me in debt with more procedures ahead of me. The financial stress on top of the physical pain has been really challenging. What's been hardest is that I put my complete trust in this practice.  The ongoing pain was emotionally draining, and feeling like my concerns weren't being taken seriously made everything worse. I've also had some administrative issues - I actually had to ask for a refund, which really should have been obvious given the failed treatment, and I still haven't received anything back. Email replies take days and days for responses.  My membership also hasn't been canceled and my payment information is still in their system, which adds to my financial concerns. This reflects my personal experience at this practice. Looking back, I wish I had made a different choice about where to have my implant done.

They were super responsive and are willing to work with your busy schedule. I especially love they will put you down on standby so if an appointment opens p they will call you immediately to see if you are available. During COVID they have enhanced their procedures. All patients are required to complete questionnaires, temperature screening, hand sanitizer, and to wear a mask while in the waiting area. Dr Coleman has air purifiers with uv light and social distancing seating in the weating area. All of the team members wear medical grade mask with face and desk shields around the office. I love Betty vibes! She is super professional and kind. She is patient and takes the time to provide dental education. Most importantly, I do not leave this dentist feeling defeated. I love my teeth and they understand I am working hard to care for my teeth. Let me say, there is no additional charge for evening or weekend appointments! They accept all PPOs at this dentist. I have found my new dental home.

That was until I finally met with Dr. Gordon and his wonderful staff. They exceeded my already skewed opinions and expectations of dentists beyond what could ever be expected. I have never experienced a more welcoming, professional and helpful staff that truly has the well-being of you and whats best for you in mind. Every dentist I've been to has made me feel guilty or uncomfortable when having to get work done and I usually am left having to come back to get more work done in a short period of time. With Dr. Gordon and his staff, I felt at ease the moment I walked in. They really do have the best intentions for you and give knowledgeable feedback that has helped me beyond measures. That again after 30 years of dental work, their simple advice for gum and cavity care that I had not heard from any of my previous dentists, worked within a month and has continued to work! And on top of it, the work that I had done with Dr. Gordon, has lasted longer than any of my previous work from other dentists, with absolutely no issues, or concerns whatsoever! I am no longer dreading going to the dentist anymore : ) If you want wonderful, kind, professional service and helpful feedback this is the ABSOLUTE place to go to.

I had been looking for a dentist to perform a wisdom tooth extraction and I came across Dr…read more Franklin via Craig D's review on here. I made an appointment to have my wisdom tooth removed and in the pre surgical screening Dr. Franklin discovered my wisdom tooth had pressed into a molar causing a cavity to form which also had to be removed as well. I do have to agree with the original poster the receptionist is rather curt when she greets you despite you being courteous and professional. Don't let that stand in the way because Dr. Franklin is very good and I am currently recuperating from the surgery that was done on February 3rd. For those of you who have never had wisdom tooth surgery will be in good hands with Dr. Franklin because she is very honest and real as to what you're dealing with once you've been screened for how she can best treat you. Dr. Franklin started into my surgery explaining everything throughout the procedure and asking me if I was feeling any pain so she could adjust the anesthesia injections which are local (she does not use nitrous oxide "laughing gas" with any of her surgical procedures) to ensure you don't feel anything during the time she requires to do the surgery. She did talk to me through the procedure which was comforting so I knew what was going on through the surgery which was about roughly an hour. Upon completion of the surgery she gave clear post surgical instructions which she explains to you to follow in order to make the recuperation period easy to get through. Dr. Franklin will prescribe antibiotics one week before surgery to clear up any infections that were found in the screening and assessment. Dr. Franklin also prescribed a limited amount of pain medication so if you're given a prescription take them accordingly because you will not get a refill since doctors are closely monitoring pain meds being given out due to patients misusing them. I strongly suggest when you have a surgery with Dr. Franklin prepare for it with resuable ice packs and soft foods because your jaw will be sore for about a week or two. Make sure you follow up with the doctor when given an appointment to check your sutures (she used dissolvable ones with me) to make sure they're healing correctly. Dr. Franklin does accept insurance so you will want to call ahead to ask what providers are accepted and if you use the state medical card you're only limited to extractions. Dr. Franklin did a great job on my surgery I didnt have a lot of swelling or pain and it's been just under 7 days and a lot of the pain and swelling had subsided with constant cold packs and eating soft food. Again follow all post surgical instructions to make your recovery time go by faster. Walk ins are accepted, but you have to pay out of pocket with cash or credit card so it's better to book an appointment.

Dr. Franklin is the best dentist that I've ever gone to! Her bedside manner is superb. I'm really not exaggerating. Talking to her was like talking to an old friend...friendly and down to earth. She was kind and very personable which I definitely appreciated. Just to let you guys know, I am deathly afraid of dentists, and had been putting off having a tooth pulled for over a year because of it. I felt absolutely NO pain what so ever. She pulled it so fast and delicately that she was stitching me up before I even knew what happened! She made sure she explained everything to me in detail BEFORE the procedure and took her time, checking on me all through the process. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. Her staff was professional and courteous. Her office looked well taken care of and clean, and there was even parking! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Franklin. It's two days later and I'm recuperating just fine and not in a whole lot of pain. Oh and I almost forgot, her prices were oh so reasonable. I was paying cash, and got a wisdom tooth removed, x-ray and exam for $125.00. So if you're in search of a good dentist and you're not sure where to go, try Dr. Franklin, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Saturday, January 18, 2025 11:30 AM Scheduled Appointment…read more MY REVIEW I left out of the dentist office around 1:50 PM today. I am still sitting here in the parking lot. He's an AMAZING dentist . This dentist has the PATIENCE OF A SAINT, especially having to deal with me and my anxieties. He did something that NO OTHER DENTIST has ever done for me. He took his time. He didn't try to rush the process. He talked me through. First he numbed my gums with topical anesthetic. Shortly thereafter he followed up with a needle injection with local anesthetic. Whenever and wherever I told him that I could feel the pinch or hit a nerve, he IMMEDIATELY provided me with additional local anesthetic. It got to a point where I NO LONGER COULD FEEL A THING. I settled in my seat and let him work. At 61 years old, this is the first real dentist visit that made me feel that he listened to me, he heard me, and he obliged me. He focused on my comfort. I was crying with all of the needle injections, but then the meaning of my tears changed from pain to joy as I realized that I was finally going to get through the dental service that I needed and I now have a dentist that I am going to stick with forever. I still can't feel the right side of my face, but the anesthetic is slowly but surely wearing off. I was given a couple of prescriptions for the pain, but I am going to go ahead and try to sleep through the pain without any medicine. I have a short visit with the dentist on Thursday and then I have another Saturday appointment for him to work on the left side of my mouth. The dentist mentioned those slightly loose teeth at the bottom front of my mouth. They were loose enough that if he removed 100% of the plaque between the teeth, he said that he was afraid that they would fall out. Thus, during my next procedure in February, he's going to create a type of splint to keep those slightly loose teeth stabilized while my gums begin to heal and get stronger. Ultimately, if everything goes as planned, I will KEEP ALL 32 OF MY TEETH. Heading to Smoothie King and then home. I don't think that I will be able to eat nothing but soft foods for a few days. This is a fairly expensive journey, but it's one that can yield an abundance of dividends. I'm finally going to have both my of daughter's smiles.
