He's cleaned the siding, the gutters (inside and outside) painted the foundation and steps, power washed the deck and is painting that. Painted the basement walls and floor. They modernized a basement recreation room to make it a room that you "want" to spend time in. Previously, they corrected a water accumulation issue that had manifested itself over the years. It would have eventually caused severe damage if left unattended, but no worries now. They are punctual, professional, personable, and skilled in many building techniques. There were three installers (the job was huge) and they did a fabulous job! About three years later I had them install new carpet in one of my first floor bedrooms. During the installation, the installers spoke with Jeff because they were having difficulty seaming it together. None of us - the installers, Jeff nor us - were pleased with the result. Jeff spoke with the carpet rep and was told that the carpet had to be seamed together in a 'very specific way'. Jeff and his installers have over 60 years combined experience in carpet installation but they had never seen a carpet that needed to be seamed the way they were being told, but Jeff agreed to try it. He purchased another piece of carpet and had his installer seam it together at the warehouse as instructed by the manufacturer but he still was not pleased with the way it looked. He immediately took those carpet samples off his floor so no one else would select them and then called me to choose another brand of carpet. He had a few samples picked out for me - ones he had previously sold to satisfied customers. The new carpet has better ratings and the price is a little higher but he did not charge me one penny more! It has taken about 6 months (the wait has been longer due to COVID-19) but I am happily waiting to get my new carpet installed and totally expect to be 100% satisfied again. Bottom line is that Jeff stood by me to make sure he had a satisfied customer, which is what a great business owner does!!
