I don't go out of my way often to give a review but when it comes down to quality it deserves to be talked about. I've been going to Shevy for over a couple years now and it means a lot to me to have a quality cut. I'm a weekly haircut type of guy and I'm the picky type of person who believe in symmetry and consistency when it comes to a true haircut. I started out with getting bald fades and thats where I can tell if somebody has it because I never left with a line I could see and the fade was clean! I typically don't review places (this is actually my 1st one) but I wanted to give a special shout out to Shevy for the awesome haircut. I came all the way from SF to Barberians because my buddy went there recently and said Shevy was the TRUTH. I decided to give it a shot and I was not disappointed - I will definitely be coming back here in the future. I usually get embarrassed explaining my preferred cut to new barbers because it makes me sound like an a$$ (a 1 on the side, but sometimes 2 - you decide what you think is best, tapered in the back, scissor cut the front to a short length but not too short - enough length to apply pomade, I don't do a hard part and I don't use a comb) but Shevy understood it right away and got to work. He took his time and didn't rush at all. In the end I was super happy. I came in wearing a hat because I didn't like how long my hair got and I left the place not rocking the hat as I wanted to show off the fly fade. Finding a go-to-barber that you actually want to return to is difficult and after 30+ years I think I have found the one. See you next time Shevy! read more

I basically only use this website to complain -- which makes sense because a bad experience is so much more compelling than a good one. But when you're getting a cut from Shevvy it's not just a "good one." Shevy is hands down the best barber I've ever gone to. I've paid nearly twice the price for a cut elsewhere and it wasn't even half as good. It can be a week from the time of my cut and people still comment on how fresh it looks. Dude it thorough and professional and has some otherworldly power when it comes to cutting hair. So long as this man is cutting hair, I'll be his client. Had an appointment for 9:30am on a Saturday. Drove 20 mins and got there before my appointment time. Open sign on the window but no one inside. Called and called and waited past 10:00am and no one showed. The owner is clearly skilled but if your time is valuable to you be advised an appointment means nothing and you might see your time wasted. read more
