Wallace is my new go to barber and I'm happy to have discovered his shop. It has a very family oriented vibe when walking in and the team is very welcoming. My appointment was on time every time I've arrived with the chair being open for me to start my cut. Some barbers usually squeeze in customers and you're cut doesn't even start on time but not here. The haircut is always sharp, he makes sure I'm okay with it and he's okay with it. Even when I'm okay with the cut, Wallace double checks himself and will not let me leave the chair until he is satisfied himself. He is laser focused when performing the service and makes me feel like he's putting his attention all on my time. I asked for a low top, mid fade with a heart on the side and he delivered an A+ cut. Thanks for everything

Made a last minute appointment with Jah. I've had the same barber for 20 years. Wanted someplace closer. Was not disappointed!

(They did not disappoint.) Things I loved about the Grand: - Easy parking within a block (or two) via street and dirt lots. All of it was free parking. - Not fighting huge traffic other than I-580-EB on an evening. - Along a really cute downtown area that was about 3-4 blocks by 3 blocks. - Cheap snacks at the Grand that included beer on tap, wine, sodas, bottled water, candy, and nuts, all of which was very inexpensive by comparison to the Orpheum in SF. (Water, soda - $3; candy - $3; most alcoholic beverages were $6-9, IIRC.) - All great seating once you get inside. I didn't feel like there was a bad seat in the house. - Beautiful interior, just as ornate as The Orpheum. - Awesome lighting and sound, unlike the Golden Gate Theater, which has had terrible sound in the last two years. - Not a huge line to get to the restroom. - A space indoors for merch sales, for groups like All-4-One that choose to sell things. There's nothing critical or even nit-picky to say about my visit here. 5 stars. I had a great time, and I will be back. Tracy, y'all are so lucky!

They offered a slip that if you win they double it, I'm unsure and it was just for that day. My cousin bet $10 then lost it anyways because the dealer got 21. The free food from the new chef at the casino's kitchen, was ok. Hopefully they have a better selection to purchase. There were free tacos that were delicious. There was a band for the afternoon and then a DJ for the evening. The drinks were ok as well. The photo and name kinda miss led me to believe it was something else. Tequilada I thought was a tequila pina colada. I have no clue why I thought that but I made myself disappointed. Then I had a whiskey lemonade both looked boring but the other 2 summer drinks look more presentable on the photo, I just didn't want a cucumber jalapeño margarita. Hypnotiq breeze looked like it would taste very sweet. I highly suggest adding bacon to the tequilada and garnish the whiskey lemonade with a lemon and marichino cherry. Anyway it's just their summer drinks. The bathroom has a nice fun mirror to make up touch up for the ladies. A lot of people there are pretty much regulars. Parking lot was full but there is a lot of parking since they are by the mall. The security here is on point they will check and ask and make sure no one is drinking outside with glass cups. The bartender that helped us was very on point. The guy that came after her needs a bit more work. I noticed him greet certain customers even some that just sat versus to the ones that had already sat and was waiting for help. He's probably new because the other bartenders were always coaching him. I suggest them if you like to gamble

She came into my home with dozens of options, hanging canvas's up on my wall where I was able to study them, take a picture and feel the art in the space - then - all of a sudden, I turn around after she has put another two pieces up and WOW that's it. I would have never picked what I picked in any store - but seeing on my wall in MY living room - I knew - it spoke to me, and that was it. The framer came shortly after, framed it perfectly and it's now hanging on my wall. Do you know how many pictures and how much time I would have had to lug in my car and put up each piece only to probably return it and start all over again? Too many hours to count - too many holes in my wall - too many trips to countless stores. Noa is awesome, talented, warm, friendly and honest about what works and what doesn't AND there is no pressure. It's free for her to come and take a test drive of art in your home! Highly recommend!

I knew in advance that on Thursdays (2nd & 4th weeks only), the public street parking in front of the building was off limits for street sweeping/no parking between 7am-11am, so I got very lucky pulling up in front at 11am sharp. Nice. Easy walk. The Foster Museum was very simple, decent, positive, and relaxing environment filled with gorgeous nature views/sketches/watercolor artworks by the U.K. artist, Tony Foster. Good feeling here. Free admissions and good customer service staffs. You can just walk in or register online. There's a tiny gift area not far from the public restrooms. I signed the guestbook at the end of my walk. Good place to hang around/includes unlimited paper, paper/pencils/samples/etc. If you like to sketch and get some creative inspirations, all the nature artworks in the gallery is definitely a good place to start. Not huge, but perfectly quite and calm for art lovers. You can request for an orientation and/or tour as desired. Great first impression during first visit. It's the positive feeling I get from observing the energy and various colorful artworks. Simple and stress-free. Good value/free admissions is totally worth the 1-2 hours here. They also host art classes too, but I will need to take time to browse around online. Good vibes. Staffs are friendly inside. Hidden place. Love it.
