Rather than creating a supportive environment where employees could learn and grow, the management approach often felt intimidating and demoralizing. Constructive feedback is important in any workplace, but there is a clear difference between professional guidance and personal attacks. For a company that strives to maintain professional standards, this type of behavior should not be considered acceptable. I believe many employees would be able to perform at a much higher level under stronger, more respectful, and professional management within the Bookkeeping department. That being said, my criticism is directed specifically at Nataliya Prokosheva and her management style within the Bookkeeping department, not at the company as a whole. She recommended that I reach out to Tom as well so I decided to give it a shot. In the beginning, Tom was very responsive. After the initial quote was provided, I decided to move forward and proceeded to upload all of my documents. Fast forward a month, we received an email from Tom on 3/22/2020 asking for a service agreement document to be signed. Because we did not respond with a signed document within 72 hours (3/25/2020), Tom refunded our money saying it was a business risk. Unbelievable.
