If I could give the rating of 0 I would. Susan Izzy is the best, the rest of the staff is…read morehorrible. The do not follow through once you leave the office. They made me figure where to go for an M RI and call to schedule it. They NEVER called my insurance company and when the insurance called them, 4 times, they never picked up or called back. I had to actually sign a waiver that I would have to pay for the MRI if they doctor doesn't get it approved. Once I got the MRI, Friday morning, the doctor never called me with results. I called on Tuesday and they said they still don't have them. I called the MRI and they said they sent the results last Friday. Call the doctor again and she actually told me to call and have them sent again. How about the office staff do THEIR job instead of me who is in so much pain not have to play phone tag between two offices. Just horrible horrible treatment of patients on pure laziness. And they cannot blame Covid because they are actually seeing less people cause they don't want the waiting room filled with people. This is their job and they just have this entitled attitude like their time is more precious then mine. STAY FAR AWAY AND FIND A DIFFERENT PRACTICE. and Susan Izzo should leave that practice because I am sure they don't treat her well either!

Okay, so I'm not exactly a fan of doctor's offices. But really, who is? As a diabetic, I've had my…read morefair share of not-so-cool (and some downright traumatizing) experiences at the doc's office. But I have to give Rockville Family Physicians credit for actually being a pleasant place! My nurse practitioner, Susan Izzo, is wonderful! She actually listens to me and has helped me overcome a few fears/hurdles in dealing with my diabetes. The receptionists at Rockville Family are consistently CIVIL, which is more than I can say about other medical offices I've been to lol! Another bonus is that I've never had to sit in the waiting room for longer than 5 minutes. The furnishings and equipment may not be super high-tech like at some fancy office in, say, Glastonbury, but it's cozy enough and doesn't give off a scary laboratory vibe. Overall, a decent place.

I spent two difficult weeks there after an accident that left me wheelchair bound and needing…read morephysical therapy. The room I was given was used as a store room for other equipment. The food was disgusting and the breakfast "eggs" gave me such diarrhea that I actually had an accident in the doctor's office during my first visit post-surgery. There was one very nice and dedicated nurse but the rest were dismissive and all but two of the aides acted as if I was an inconvenience. I will say that the therapists were very good but also very overbooked. Only 30 minutes of therapy Monday through Friday and none on the weekend. The medical "staff" if you could call it that was seen via a cell phone link except for the nurse practitioner who was pretty much useless. They were also out of network even though the facility was supposedly in network.

The semi-private rooms are too small for 2 patients and lacking in appropriate furnishings i.e. no guest chairs and no closets, except a rocket wardrobe. The bathrooms are sad. My friend filled out her meal orders, but was never given the items she ordered. We couldn't figure out what her meal was supposed to be. It did not look or smell appealing. She mostly ate cold cereal and snacks that we brought for her. My friend rang for assistance, but no one stopped into her room to see what she wanted. Good thing it wasn't an emergency. My friend said the physical therapist was nice. The front desk receptionist was polite and helpful. I don't know why the state of Connecticut allows this place to stay open. Disgusting.
