I could have lived with my tight neck and shoulders. Ok, I actually had learned how to live with it. I knew what stretches helped and I knew what to avoid... I kinda created this idea of "normal" for myself. Where I would know just how much I could do before I would get a tight neck and shoulders. I knew how to take care of my situation so I could function without pain. Yesterday, I had my 4th appointment at Shift Chiropractic and this morning I woke up without having to stretch, massage, or take care of my tight shoulders and neck. This morning, I woke up just ready to go. It took me a second to really put that together. After just 4 appointments with Dr. Kyle that sense of "normal" I had is gone. Now I know that with his care I can feel better than I could imagine. I am writing this review toward the end of the day and I am starting to feel stiffness to where I do need to do some stretches (but isn't that normal? Maybe not!) I found Shift Chiropractic about two months ago and could not be happier that I did. I have had bad headaches for roughly ten years. Headaches that would completely knock me down for a day or more at a time. Since starting treatment with Dr. Kyle my headaches have greatly decreased!!! Also I have had many more issues resolve that I blew off as "getting older". My back and hip pain have literally almost completely gone away and my blood pressure has significantly gone down. I've been to numerous chiropractors and physical therapists over the years, had steroid injections, x-rays, MRIs and CAT scans, all for my neck and back. Three weeks ago, I was introduced to Dr. Kyle. After my first visit, I felt I knew more about the injuries I had than any of the past testing had shown me. After the second visit, I regained what felt like almost full range of motion in my neck, something I hadn't had in 17 years. The modern technology Dr. Kyle uses to pinpoint the trouble spots is utterly miraculous and so accurate that I expect a full recovery by the time I'm done with my 90 day run. Not that that will stop me from going there! My symptoms of restless legs, due to nerve pinching in my lower back, have almost gone away already. We have both been to traditional chiropractors in the past and have left feeling unchanged after five minutes or not even at all and never had any tests done prior to adjusting. This experience is so much different. I first encountered a representative from their business at a local show and she explained her personal experience. She offered me a free scan and also they were running a special at the show. I took the offer because I knew there was something different about this experience. After our initial appointment, we both agreed this was going to be the place we needed to be. We both were shown all of our films and stats and with the guidance of Dr Kyle are set up on a plan to hopefully correct most of what is causing our discomforts. I went to Shift Health Center for the neuropathy that I HAD in my feet and hands. I can tell you that I dreaded standing up after sitting for just a few minutes. The pain in my feet was so intense, the burning and numbing made it so difficult to walk. The neuropathy program works if you follow it. I could have chosen a medical doctor to take pills for the rest of my life to cover the problem but I chose to follow this program because I didn't want to medicate. I've read many articles on neuropathy and the thought of losing a foot/leg was enough for me too make the smarter choice. The chiropractic care at Shift is so thorough and great but the additional services they offer is what really changed my life. I had back to back tears, one in my spine and one in my hip and softwave therapy healed both way sooner than medical doctors said they'd heal. I now use softwave for maintenance on my hip as needed. Secondly, the weight loss program. I tried getting pregnant for 7-8 years and just a couple months after doing their weight loss program with adjustments, I started having regular menstrual cycles and was pregnant. Before comming to Shift I had issues sitting up straight and had constant lingering headaches. Once I started coming the head aches quickly departed and after about a month and a half I was able to sit up straight without feeling like I was staring myself to do it!
