I agree that Parish and the team at Ocala Car Audio are top notch. I had a Kenwood DNX772BH…read moreinstalled by another dealer in Ocala three months ago, but I decided to not go back there after a horrible experience with them. I asked Parish if he would diagnose an issue that I had with the unit even though his team did not install it. He agreed to do so, and did a thorough job. He did not try to sell me a new head unit, but he did point out the pros and cons of the high-end Kenwood units during my visit. In the end, Parish found that it was my iPhone that was failing and not my Kenwood head unit. He saved me a lot of headaches and money with that discovery. I upgraded my iPhone the next day, and all is well. Thanks Parish! I will be back.

The owner tried to coerce a 5 star review from me, but my conscience just won't let me…read more Two weeks ago I replaced the face plate of my dash with a brand new never been used one. Plugged it in with the original wiring harness, and all the connected modules worked perfectly until I got the stereo installed. Last week, I took my truck down to replace the stereo. I knew the *audio wiring* was shot, which was why I had it installed at a car audio place, but the rest was just fine. When I got it back the next day, my AC module wasn't working, and the overhead display literally just fell out when I touched it. When I went back and tried to explain things, the owner got hostile with me by getting right up in my face, and basically accused me of lying and trying to get a free repair for something HE deemed was already malfunctioning because of age, despite my receipts to prove what I replaced was brand new. I really thought he was going to swing on me. Even the technician admitted to messing with the plug, and yet the owner swore they had nothing to do with any of it. When I checked things out, I found all new wiring, the original gone, and now I have to click the fan to full blast just to get the unit to turn on. I never authorized them to replace the module wiring because it was intact. It was strictly the audio wiring. Then the owner brought me inside to "work things out", but basically lectured me like I am some kid that doesn't know anything (despite my 30 years of experience of restoring vehicles), and denied any plausibility that it could have been a simple accident that went unnoticed. His mind locked on the overhead console, ignoring the bigger issue of my AC. All I had really wanted was for them to double check the plug and wiring they messed with, and to glue my overhead display back in place. He only agreed to the latter, leaving me to spend MORE money to get their mistake fixed. I don't know why, but he bought a new overhead housing, but told me I had to install it myself. He then demanded I go here to give a 5 star review about how they went above and beyond for me, and yet they refused to double check their work and instead pass the blame along without actually resolving anything.

I called Hayes automotive with Scott scheduled to have the valve cover gaskets replaced on my 2002…read moreChevy Silverado and he did the oil pressure sensor switch that day really had to come back with another tool the following day to be exact but it continue to drip oil even after he replaced the valve cover gaskets so he charged me $50 to come back out after paying almost $200 for the first trip out to replace the valve cover gaskets and the oil pressure sensor switch which I paid for I bought so I paid for the labor and continue to drip he said it was now a rear main seal which would cost $1,200 and he could do it within two days because he didn't have a lift I declined because of money I couldn't afford it so I drove the 1999 Chevy Silverado that I have just so I wouldn't continue to leak oil out of the one that's got worked on well yesterday I sold it to a young man in Ocala and him and his dad took it home and immediately took it apart and found that in fact the valve cover gasket that Scott installed with Hayes automotive was pinched and torn it was also bunched up so therefore that's where the leak is from that's what was leaking oil not I repeat not the rear mainship so what the heck was he going to do the main seal $1,200 really it took that kid and his dad 30 minutes to figure it out I'm just very disappointed and Scott because the truck was a good truck I would not have sold it I would have held on to it if I would have known that I replace just about everything in the truck but letting it go was hard but I look at the upside of things I still got the 1999 Chevy Silverado Z71 extra cab and now I got a new truck so life is good but Scott needs the slowest ass down and take time on people's vehicles that's all
