The set of keys I was given had a key tag that said 2 of 2 on them. After buying a BMW X.3 for nearly 20 grand I had to negotiate a new key fob that cost me $200 as well. I attempted to talk to them about the approx. $130 charge they continued to bill my cc since the vehicle was sold four months ago. They didn't return my calls. Finally, I reached a live person and explained the situation. She was rude and hung up on me. I immediately called back and asked to speak to someone in authority. They were, suspiciously, "all in a meeting". That was when I decided to cut the head off the snake's body and cancelled that cc. No more monthly charges at 26% interest. I had purchased a 10 year old Prius. Within 3 months of the purchase, I was informed that every battery in the car needed to be replaced in order for the car to be able to be driven. Caveat emptor - buyer beware.
