Our expanded family totaling 21 rented out the entire place (5 B&B rooms in the main house & all 4 cottages) for the weekend. One of the owner's "Lee" was there to greet and welcome us with a smile. This was a first-class weekend, and our family enjoyed every minute of our time there. The rooms were amazing and the breakfasts were so good! This was our fifth stay at Shiloh, and there are about a hundred reasons we keep coming back: 1) the owners are so kind and thoughtful but purposefully unobtrusive 2) the cookies! 3) the cabins are delightfully separate from everything, but you still have access to anything 4) the breakfasts each morning are different from one another but always so, so good 5) did I mention the cookies? 6) the property is nestled away so that you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, but it's still just a short drive into a good restaurant or shopping 7) the robes are so comfortable, you won't even want to wear clothes 8) as parents to 4, time away is with every single dollar 9) and still yet, the cookies. Perfect for a romantic getaway! If you're looking for together time with your special someone, the Shiloh Morning Inn is PERFECT! If you're looking for a party time, socializing, and late nights, then this is NOT your place :-) My wife and I had an amazing two nights here, complete with nature walks (there's acres and acres to explore - both on mowed paths and off the beaten path), excellent food prepared by David, the owner and proprietor, hot tub soaks, lazy time, a DVD movie and book reading on the patio. We stayed in one of the cottages, so it was very private. Comfy sheets, cozy robes and plenty of hot water to fill up the master bath jaccuzi. WOW... WOW... WOW... This is our second visit to Shiloh. The first time we stayed in a cottage. This time we stayed in the main lodge. It was absolutely spectacular. We had a nice warm welcome from the owner, and a great tour of our room. I love the free cookies... the free snack closet... coffee, tea and hot chocolate anytime we wanted it. I was a little worried about being in a "room" versus being in a cottage. However, our room was perfect. It had 2 big comfortable chairs and an ottoman for just relaxing and watching TV. They were so comfortable, that my wife and I both fell asleep in the afternoon, but we did get up in time for dinner. When we woke up, we both commented about the cozy atmosphere. Although we didn't use them, we also had a small table for eating, and a hot tub on the back porch. The bathroom was huge. Double vanity, big tub, spacious shower and a private area for the commode. The other truly amazing part was how clean everything was. The whole place, inside and out, looked like they had just prepped it for a photo shoot. For dinner in Ardmore, we also visited Cafe Alley restaurant again. It's such a great restaurant with great food and wonderful cocktails. They even have "cocktails to go". So we got a couple of martinis and some Baileys. It's sealed, so it was easy to take back to Shiloh and have an evening toddy. Serene, peaceful, elegant, excellent attention to detail. We stayed here one night looking for a place to unwind after a stressful weekend. Found the reviews to be the best in the area, it exceeded our expectation. The new owners are friendly and accommodating. The property location is nestled right in the middle of Wheretheheckamigoing and Ohhereitis. Thank the lord they have a beautiful wood sign with their name on it because I thought I was lost. It's really remote. They offer Cable tv, hot tubs, bath tubs for two, power showers and beds that you sink into lala land. Each room is designed for the comfort of two, not a family B&B but one to reconnect or to just get away for a lovely couples weekend. They have peaceful walking trails so you can breath deeply and relax. Just what we needed. Man they can cook! Our breakfast came in a 3 course meal. Each more delightful then the next. Those cranberry scones, I could order those the rest of my life. They offer a romantic meal for two for dinner. If they can make breakfast that delightful, I'd love to see what they would do for dinner, I would have done that over going into Ardmore (which is about 15 minutes away). I loved it so much I bought a coffee cup. It was exactly what the wife and I needed. Next time it's just us, we'll be back. read more

Superb staycation! This was a wonderful and romantic get away for my boyfriend and I. We stayed in the hummingbird suite which had its own private jacuzzi with private patio. They also have private cabins. The room was spacious and quiet. We had dinner in the room and it was delicious! The optimal add ones such as chocolate covered strawberries are quite impressive as well as the packages they have for special occasions. Shiloh Morning Inn is absolutely heaven on earth. If you need a place to relax and kick the world off your shoulders, this is it! We were greeted at the door by one of the amazing owners. Was made to feel at home immediately. He walked us to our cottage and showed us around. The cottage was warm and cozy. Decorated beautifully and SO clean! The property is gorgeous and tucked away with an 'a million miles away' feel. Oh, and the food. AMAZING!! If this was a food competition it would be award winning! We stumbled upon this amazing place when we were looking for B&B's for a getaway weekend to relax, reconnect and take in the fall foliage. It did not disappoint! So much so that we decided to stay a 3rd night! It was raining and chilly when we arrived but that didn't stop us from using the hot tub, with an umbrella! The fireplace puts off the most warm and romantic glow, the king size bed was so comfy and the bottomless cookie jar was just the late night snack we needed Our 1st morning we were met with the smell off coffee and bacon as soon as we opened our door (we stayed in Suite Memories) and were warmly greeted by our....server?! This was unexpected but so delightful! She was precious and attentive even though there were 4 other couples to attend to. The food here is absolutely delicious and just the perfect amount to start your day. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things! We are eager to come back in every season! read more

This B&B could certainly be five stars but just needs some updating. Carpet, fans, fixtures, furniture, doors, etc. look tired...maybe from the late 1990s or early 2000s? Our tv was teeny tiny. Some of the cabins appeared to need fresh paint. Breakfast was good and the trails throughout the property were pretty and well kept. Service was nice. The lady who brought our breakfast was super sweet. A bit of TLC and this place could be five star again! read more

This was the first time for the wife and I to stay at a bed and breakfast. I thought it looked like a nice place fairly close to home for a little getaway.... It exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, private, and very clean. They hot tub was very nice, and the breakfast was awesome! I was a lil concerned about what the group breakfast atmosphere would be like(again my first time at a BnB), but it was really nice with individual tables. It felt more like breakfast at a nice restaurant. Five stars guys! This will probably NOT be the last time we visit. read more

When our anniversary plans were canceled because of COVID19, we decided to make a reservation to stay one night at Shiloh morning inn after friends had raved about it. It did not disappoint! We stayed in the suite memories room, which we enjoyed so much! Amenities include King sized bed, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, large glass shower with two shower heads, and our favorite- a private secluded hot tub. We also enjoyed their selection of games and movies, and can't forget to mention the 3 course breakfast. Yum! We had a very romantic and relaxing evening with the add-on of a steak dinner for two with salad, fresh baked bread, wine and dessert. We also enjoyed exploring their walking trails and taking the trees and fresh air in one of their tree hammocks. We had such a nice time and the staff was great! This is a hidden jewel in Oklahoma!!! We have come here for several years and each time it is impeccable service and hospitality!! The owners truly care about each guest. It's worth it to have dinner delivered to your room!! Amazing meal (we had steak, veggies, salad, bread, and dessert). There are about 4 cabins down from the main house. The rooms are clean and extremely spacious! We've stayed in several different rooms/cabin and each one is special, in its own way. The walking trails are so peaceful and there are well placed hammocks throughout. The breakfast is DEEEEELISH!! In the main house there's a room where you can get games, movies, and books for your stay. There's a area where you can get drinks and snacks, binoculars and umbrellas. They have thought of everything!!! We will return year after year due to the consistency of greatness this place brings!!! read more

Apparently I was the first one to find this place on Pinterest and actually try it out. Given the whole COVId-19 situation and all, my husband and I were looking to escape for a few days and celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday. This is definitely the place if you are looking for seclusion and quiet. The inn is situations on 73 acres of land full of walking trails around a pond and some trails lead to hammocks in the woods and other seating areas. Most of the town of Ardmore was fairly shut down still given the state of the world but some restaurants were open to go out and grab dinner for the night. This was one of the quietest places we have been in awhile where all you hear at night are the sounds of wildlife. We rented the Butterfly room which is in the main house and has a nice balcony. We requested the anniversary package which came with a bottle of champagne, red roses, champagne glasses and chocolate covered strawberries - all amazing. The owners are the nicest people and gave us the full tour. They make their own 3 course breakfast in house and each day was a little bit different yet all very delicious! We also had room service (dinner) delivered one night and it came complete with salads, bread, meal and dessert (one for each person) and your choice of water or wine. Overall, we stayed about 3 nights and it was exactly what we needed. The room and inn were all very clean and presentable. Staff was overly friendly and helpful. Services were awesome and we would totally recommend it to anyone else. I would definitely go back again! read more

So glad we found this hidden gem! We stayed at the roadrunner cottage and loved the quiet and privacy in a beautiful natural setting. It came with its own golf cart! I'm trying not to be too harsh. We have been to a Shiloh at least three times in the past. This is our first time with the new ownership. And unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. The hospitality we received from the previous owner was top-notch. We didn't even get a welcoming email the day before we arrived, like we always did in the past. No one asked us how our time was there, or even how we were doing when they came across our path. The waitress in the morning was very friendly. She did a good job, but the breakfast itself was a huge disappointment. I can't remember the last time I had a breakfast without bread of some sort. That's one of the things I was looking forward to the most as someone who is healthy eater. I was looking forward to indulging in some French toast, or a waffle like we always had in the past. The first morning was a 1/2 inch frittata, which is water, eggs, and red bell pepper. The next day was a crusted quiche. They overloaded on the fruit. The bacon was cold. Just a huge disappointment. I don't leave bad reviews very often, but this place shouldn't have 24, 5 star reviews at this point. We spoke with another couple, and they agreed with us 100%. so unfortunate. Hopefully we'll find a new place that can meet are very simple expectations. read more

This place is certainly five star. We often stay at the Ritz, the Four Seasons, etc. and this place meets those high expectations. And it's tucked away in the woods, giving you a full "cabin" experience while pampering you with first class accommodations and food. Don't forget about the food. We stayed in the Roadrunner and it has a full kitchen. But we didn't cook. We let them deliver amazing dishes to us every night - stuffed quail, NY strip, roast chicken, amazing pasta. Every meal was excellent, including the outstanding breakfast offerings each morning. David is a chef as well as an amazing hotelier. He's figured it all out - need a flashlight? It's there. Need an umbrella? It's there. It's a great location for exploring nature. There are wonderful manicured trails on the property. We spent most of our time going to Chickasaw National Recreation Area and Lake Murray. Both are excellent hiking options. Can't say enough nice things about this place. This place is an absolute GEM! My husband and I went in August 2020 for our honeymoon and had the most relaxing time. We just ended our anniversary/baby moon trip, and it was even better than we remembered. We stayed in the Hummingbird Suite this time and it was like we were the only people there. The room was spacious and clean, the bath tub was huge and there was always plenty of hot water. We had our own hot tub on a private porch, which had a pergola type roof that let us look at the stars while we soaked. Breakfast is served between 8:30-9:30 am, and it is phenomenal. There is always fresh baked cookies and snacks/drinks available in the main house, and you can even order room service ahead of your stay. We got the bacon and almond stuffed quail and the sirloin strip, both were delicious and it was enough food that we had to take a break and finish later (not that we were upset about that lol). I can't praise this wonderful B&B enough. We look forward to coming back for our anniversary next year, though I doubt we will make it that long before we cave in and schedule an impromptu weekend trip. Some key points that we enjoyed: - WiFi in the main house, we didn't have any when we stayed in one of the cottages - personal hot tub on a private porch - huge comfy bed - DirecTV in the room, along with a full library of movies and games - AMAZING food. Seriously, check out the cookies and the room service is WELL worth it - privacy, if it weren't for the other cars there we would've thought we were in a world of our own - the hospitality is unmatched. The Pfaus are so friendly and welcoming, and are wonderful at meeting all your needs - we had a mini-fridge, and access to a microwave and ice machine in the hall outside of our room - the robes in the rooms are so comfy, don't even bother packing comfy clothes because you'll want to be in the robe the entire time read more

I stayed here for a spontaneous weekend getaway and it was beautiful and very relaxing. We stayed in the Bluebird Cottage and I was little concerned with the cottages being so close together but we didn't see or hear anyone while we were there. The cottage was very comfortable and clean and the staff was great. The decorations were a little random and dated but it was. We spent a lot of time on the patio and in the hot tub enjoying the view of the woods. We requested a late checkout so that we could take advantage of the walking trails after breakfast. The trails were very well maintained and we saw several couples while we were out. Breakfast was tasty but the serving size was a little small. The dvd collection and board games are a good perk. My husband and I just returned from a lovely evening at the Shiloh Morning Inn. Everything about the property was top notch. You would expect this when visiting a select registry property, but it's always nice when expectations are met or exceeded. We ordered the light dinner option delivered to our room. It included a generous portion of chilled shrimp cocktail, cheese, crackers and fruit. Everything was fresh and delicious. The breakfast was excellent as well. It was served in three courses and was plentiful. The grounds are very well kept and the accommodations are both comfortable and very clean. For our 3 year wedding anniversary my husband surprised me with this romantic little getaway. Shiloh Morning Inn exceeded our expectations; the location was easily found but felt so secluded and exclusive. The hospitality was exceptional and every staff member makes you feel important! Our room was so romantic and intimate; upon arrival we had chocolate covered strawberries which were huge and beautifully dipped! And gorgeous red roses. There is a huge jetted tub in the room; I do recommend bringing bubble bath though to get the most out of it and the bed was so comfortable! The breakfast was more than delicious and tasted 5. We opted to have dinner in our room on Saturday night and wow! Was it delicious. The most romantic evening we've had in a long time! The grounds are well kept and the view from our balcony was stunning. Everything about our stay was fantastic. The warm greeting, the fabulous food, the spacious room. We wish we could have stayed another day in order to take full advantage of everything that's offered, from DVDs, puzzles and games in the common area, walking trails. The only thing I would comment on that needed attention on our suite (Butterfly) is that the shower head probably needs to be changed. The water flow was quite weak and it made an uncomfortable whistling noise while the shower was being used. Also a ledge or shelf in the shower would have been nice... I had to put my shampoo and body wash on the floor. However, everything else was perfect so this is not a deal-breaker. read more

For couple getaway absolute must getaway for the solace. The 4 cabins are spaced far enough from the main Inn and with enough seclusion that a couple would want. Innkeeper and his family were absolutely accommodating without being intrusive. And, they're quite good chefs--breakfast menu changes daily. Especially liked the sweet potato pancakes and hickory smoked thick bacon slices. Gained weight from the bottomless cookie jar. Stayed in the Bambi Cottage and it was perfect. It's rustic, but the decorum and hospitality was matchless. Cabins included led-lighted hot tub, satellite tv, garden tub, double head shower stall, dorm frig, gas fireplace, veranda with sitting chairs. Walked the 23 acres trail in about a day, but spent most time just sitting at the pond on adirondack chairs. If you're looking for activities, there's a collection of board games and DVDs and satellite tv, but this is not the kind of place with a lot of group events, except for maybe a game of cards in the inn in the evening. Wi-Fi was limited to the inn itself. No, this is the place for a couple to focus on the relationship, to spend time away from the rest of the family, and to feel at peace. read more
