Cabins are spacious, lovely pine wood trim, pine dresser, flat screen TV with Netflix and other channels, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, nice large bathroom with oil rubbed bronzed faucets; rooms are relaxing with neutral colors. The grill pavilion is beautiful; has 2 gas grills with grilling utilities and food seasonings (if need), patio furniture with bar stools around, a picnic table, Bluetooth stereo to pair your phone and listen to music while you cook or just relax. Has a horseshoe pit (Jenga and perhaps some card games would be great), has nice fire pit next to the grill pavilion overlooking the pond below, has trails to hike; just a beautiful place and we along with friends didn't want it to end. We highly recommend visiting The Woods on your visit to Lake Texoma, relax, make friends and enjoy yourself.

I'm glad we did because we had a lot of fun at the West Bay Casino! Please note that this review is for the casino only. We did not stay at the resort (yet!). Yes, the casino is small. Especially compared to Winstar or Choctaw. But we actually enjoyed a change of pace and different atmosphere than the mega casinos. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly. The casino, restrooms, and beverage area were CLEAN! There were also a few slot machines that you can't find at the other big casinos. And while smoking is allowed, it was not overwhelming like at other casinos. We only had a short amount of time to spend at the West Bay Casino, but one day we will book a room or maybe one of the cabins which looked really nice and spend a weekend here. The pool and outdoor patio area looked very nice as well and the view of Lake Texoma is great. Don't pass up this little hidden gem!

We were there the weekend of Oct 15 2016 and had the most fantastic time. Our running group does a group camp out at least twice a year and this is by far the best location we have ever booked. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The facilities are clean and well lit. The grounds are well kept. The resort has a screened in gazebo with plenty of room to serve our large group. Also the resort has a convenience store for last minute purchases. We will definitely be back! What an awesome unforgettable weekend!!

It turned out not to be worth the extra distance to save a few bucks. There was not enough trailer parking and you have to back the trailer up near the swimming pool and then un-hitch to park your vehicle. The cabins were okay on the outside but the furnishings had to be twenty+ years old. If it hadn't been so clean, we would have left. The boat ramp and the savings were the only good things for the weekend. The boat ramp was not too terribly crowded though the people launching and trailering tended to just linger on the ramp. It could accomodate 2 to 3 at a time. There is reasonable trailer parking but it is on the grass. The courtesy dock was okay. It should be mentioned, though, that the ramp is not very close to the cabins. Just a bit past walking distance. We were unimpressed by the store and the restaurant.

There are old…read moreboats, vehicles, trailers parked by the marina with grass/weeds growing up through the spaces; also the roads are poorly maintained or not at all on the property. The boat houses look run down....lots of rusty roofs and rotting deck boards. Our boat ran funny so we had the fuel checked we bought at the marina - the marina sold us car gas instead of marine fuel which we paid for, not very honest in my opinion. It's a beautiful piece of property that just has not been maintained, it appears the owners don't care about people just the dollar they make, SAD! Over the holiday weekend the garbage dumpsters at the resort and campground were overflowing. The workers have little to no personality especially one crabby old marine guy they called Billy or Bobby? Again, it's a shame that someone doesn't do more with this property or at least provide the visitors a place they want to return to.. I WOULD NOT recommend wasting my time or money.
