Losing your pet is…read morenever easy, but especially after such a short and unexpected diagnosis when they are still young. Donie was patient, sympathetic, and an all around professional. He set up an appointment window for us to bring our baby to him and have us time to say goodbye one final time. Donie's building and surrounding area are clean and well-kept. Even more important, we received a certificate of individual cremation and even some of Bubba's fur, which was unexpected and so thoughtful. While I hope to not need his services again anytime soon, I'll continue to use Donie just as I did this time. The drive from Atlanta was completely worth it. Cannot recommend Donie and Legacy enough in your time of grief.

When this happens, you need someone to talk to *right now* and Donie was there. We called him as soon as we got to town and he met us at his place of business ... on a Sunday. He has a kind, caring and compassionate spirit and I trusted him completely with Alice. With several older pets in our household, I pray we won't need his services anytime soon but, we will definitely call him when the need arises. Thank you Donie.

All I can say is Animal Angels is simply wonderful on one of the worst days you'll ever have. From the very first email interaction they were kind and understanding and when Dr. Jenn arrived that morning she was so incredibly compassionate and took time to explain what would happen and gave me all the time I needed in those final moments. I've done this at a vets office before and there is absolutely no comparison. To be at home with your fur baby and not having to take that final car ride where you come back without them, it's so so so incredibly worth it. I can't recommend Animal Angels enough. 15/10.

Dr. Moser performed the procedure the next day and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. She was so kind, caring, understanding, and accommodating--she made the whole process as smooth as possible. Everything was so meaningful and special. I figured they'd take him out in a box but she had a beautifully-decorated basket and even the backseat of the car had his name on a little chalkboard. I suggest if you have the means, you should euthanize your pet at home. Losing Ziggy came with unimaginable pain, but Animal Angels helped put us at ease after the sometimes cold and harsh vet hospitals. We appreciate you so much!!!

The characteristics that you should look for in a vet and veterinary clinic are the same ones you…read moreshould look for in a doctor and a doctors office: caring, empathy, support, knowledge, communication and the ability to meet with a professional both for routine and urgent care. North Florida Animal Hospital has all this and more in abundance. Our cats have been using their services for over 10 years. And each time we have been back for a scheduled checkup we feel like family who have come back for a visit. The reception and technical team are friendly and efficient. And the vets are knowledge, caring and personable. Dr Steele had cared for our cats for years, and it is clear that she not only loves her job, but that she also loves her patients. When one of our cats died a few years ago, her sadness and compassion were evident. Now that our second cat is having issues, at the age of 17, we have again turned to her for advice and assistance. She treats our cat like he was her own and has made sure that we know exactly what is happening. In fact, she is the one who has called to tell us lab results and she's taken the time to meet with us when we brought him in for overnight treatment. We trust her, the other vets, and the team with the most vulnerable members of our family. And they could not be in better hands. I'm so glad that they are the team who takes care of, and is now caring for, our pets.

Just not a good experience. The one that got her shots started hacking within a couple of days. I…read morecalled to talk to doctor because it was awful to watch - she was spitting up foam. I was told by reception they would pass info on to Dr. Todd, but told me it is probably a side effect of getting the Bordatella shot. Fast forward a few more days and it's getting worse. So I called again. First person who took the message said she had Tracheobronchitis (now I know what that is as I worked 4 years for a vet when I lived in Chicago) - aka Kennel Cough. Doc didn't call back so I called again - second girl I spoke to said I'd have to wait until end of day because doctor schedule was full. I just hung up - doctor called back and said it was a 'flu that was going around' - why lie? It cost me $90 for the meds. When I went to get the meds the girl told me that the 'kennel cough' would start being relieved within a couple days of starting meds. So that evening - the second dog started with the coughing and spitting up - had to pay another $90 for meds for her kennel cough. Here in lies the problem - both dogs are 4 years old - and have been boarded at other places many times. NEVER had kennel cough - or whatever NFAH wants to call it - but if you're going there prepare yourself for this. It's highly contagious and if they were to properly sterilize exam rooms, properly verify animal vaccines before boarding and properly sterilize kennels it could reduce incidents. My dogs have not been in or near any other animals since January. This was a direct cause of taking them to NFAH. I trusted them. Paid over $250 for shots, then another $180 for meds to get rid of the kennel cough they contracted at NFAH. Shame shame.
