I went to their shine near pine locatikn on union street. First car wash I've ever been to that doesn't use microfiber towels. Their cheap towels leave streaks and lint and damage the paint. I will never go back to this place as they charge more than competitors but don't provide decent towels. Their vacuums also leave a lot to be desired as there is limited suction. This place is a joke and my car is still dirty. What a waste of $30........ also their employees couldn't care less. Save yourself the frustration and go to anywhere else. read more

This car wash is one of the best! Very high tech.. Feels like you are going into a different time zone with the lights and sounds. They brush down the front of car and when you drive it it takes over. After the car is done they offer towels and spray to wipe down the windows as well as free vacuuming. When you sign up they will place a sticker inside front window that automatically gets you through the gate. The car always looks so nice when it's done. I wish it was closer or we would go more. i went inside and asked the manager if they washed the underside of cars since we had snow recently and there was a lot salt on the road, before i washed the car. . the manager said yes. i went through the car wash. i did not hear of feel water hitting the underside of the car, the floor boards etc. and the underside was still dry and appeared to be uncleaned after i drove through. . the manager said, just go through the car wash again. so i smeared a little wet red mud i found, and some a fresh bananna i happened to have with me with my finger under my car in a few spots. a few minutes later drove though the wash again. the mud and still wet moist smeared bananna with chuncks of fruit and the dry dirt from before was still dry and unchanged. i could not believe it. i asked the manager about it and he said the water would not remove dried caked on mud and dry caked on banana???? but he said it would remove the salt.?????? he said he watched the underside of my car get washed and cleaned. ???? i stepped around to see his computer screen, and i asked where did you see it. ??? caught him, he was embarrassed, he walked outside and showed me some small tiny nozels in the car wash that pointed up at the underside of the car like a weaK sprinker, A weak stream barely made it to the bottom of a car. he then got rude and defensive and said to leave the property and step back. step back, he made a huge scene jesturing with his hands and arms like i was causing trouble and he told me to leave the, etc. etc. what a joke, they lied to me, conned me, tried to gas light me,(said it did wash it, etc, he saw it)? and took my money. if the few nozels that worked happened to hit a resting mosquito on the cars frame, it might have washed it off. i have not laughed that hard in months. read more

I went there and had my wife's car washed. Everything went fairly well except for the wheels. They barely sprayed them before I entered into the wash. There was still tons of brake dust and dirt all over the rims. Later that week it rained and got the car dirty. I went back to have it washed again. This time I rolled the window down and told the gentleman about my last experience and asked him to please spray the wheels well. He didn't seem to put forth much effort and didn't tell the other worker spraying the passenger side to to spray the wheels well to remove the brake dust, etc. I gave them the benefit of the doubt assuming they had been cleaned. When I got home the wheels were still very bad just as the previous visit. I will not be going back. How complicated was my request? It amazes me how poorly some people perform their jobs. read more

I went to Shine on 9 to get my car cleaned after I got some new tires on my vehicle. Of course the line was long due to it being a Saturday afternoon. The line moved smoothly and after using my membership pass to get my car washed I noticed there was no tire shine in my new tires. I notified a member of the staff and she apologized and offered to give me some shined for ent tires. I accepted and I continued to dry my vehicle. After completely drying my car off the young lady offered a bottle of tire shine as long as I used it outside. Then she i i didn't see her anymore and the other workers just apologized for her not getting it. read more

I've been going to shine on for five years or more and never had any problems until yesterday. I purchased a new about 2wks ago and took there to wash it I even purchased a special that they were promoting for the month of January. After going through the wash spots were left on the car some I could get off some I could not so when I brought it to their attention they (Zach Cullt) and Colby Smart went inside and viewed the video several times and said it was already there which it wasn't and instead of Zach offering to send it back through he got very nasty with me which was very disappointing because I loved this place like I said earlier I had purchased a special and it would have been on my dime not the company. So I came home and decided to do a report and the officer that came out also noticed it and said the spots appeared to come from the tire shine and proceed to apply pressure and wipe a couple of them off. My favorite place to get my car washed! The staff is friendly, the line goes quick, the car wash does excellent and they have outside and covered spots for you to detail the inside of your vehicle! Microfiber towels, cleaning sprays and vacuums are all included in your wash. My husband and I have the monthly membership and really enjoy it. Best car wash around! Not impressed. I assumed this would be similar to the car wash in Greer on Wade Hampton. Windshield didn't clean good, tire shine was sprayed all over the side my car and there were no polishing rags. Just dirty cloths that looked like they were used to clean break dust off of rims then promptly folded and put back on the cart. My right side mirror got a big scuff mark that I know wasn't there before because I just bought this vehicle last weekend. The two stars are for the employees because they were really friendly and helpful at the kiosk. Really glad they didn't pressure me into getting a club membership though.. Would not recommend.. especially if you have a newer vehicle.. read more

Finally, a decent drive-through car wash comes to Boiling Springs. It only takes one person to run this business since the work is fully automated (except you have to vacuum your vehicle yourself if you want to). You first drive up to a line of self-service kiosks where you choose the type of car wash you want. I usually choose the cheapest option for $7. They also have some decent packages if you want to pay monthly instead. You insert cash or your credit card, it spits out a receipt, and then you drive up to the wash lane (this is where the one and only employee appears). The employee preps your vehicle for the wash by using the ubiquitous broom method (you know what I'm talking about). You stay in your vehicle while it goes through the wash lane. Does it do a good job of cleaning and drying? Yes, it does. Especially since all of the equipment is new, I have to say that Shine on 9 does a better job than the other local car washes where one person takes an additional 10 minutes just to hand dry your vehicle. The automatic dryers at Shine on 9 blow about 98% of the lingering water off your vehicle. That's good enough for me. The best part of this business comes after your vehicle comes off the line. You can either a) drive away and let your vehicle "air dry", or b) park your vehicle inside their huge garage away from the hot sun and dry off the remaining water yourself, or c) park outside in one of the numerous parking spots and dry your vehicle there. Here's the best part - whether you park inside or out, you have free access to a very powerful vacuum hose to finish off the job. Each parking spot gets its own vacuum hose. No rush. Take as long as you need. Very easy to use and extremely effective. The whole process does not use up much of your valuable time unless you want to stay and vacuum your vehicle. They even have a self-serve car mat cleaning machine, if you want to avail yourself of this service. Shine on 9 is quick, easy, effective and affordable. What more do you want? read more

This is the best car wash ever! They have an indoor (as well as outdoor) area with free vacuums and spray bottles and rags. They offer many different cleaning services, including a lava coating. First time i ever went to this car wash and it's going to be the last. The roller messed up and threw my car off the "track" and the car behind me hit me in the rear 3 times. It was like bumper cars. So my first instinct was to hit the brakes when i got hit. So after the upsetting shock of my car getting Damaged. Brandi, the manager, called the owner, Hall, and Hall was quick to judge and say that it was all my fault. They looked at the video and said i was turning my steering wheel, which i told him i wasn't. Then he said i hit the brakes. Of course i hit my brakes after i was hit in the rear. Hall was quick to say it was not his equipment, that it was all me. So i told him that since he had already judged me and investigated this incident that he would be judged by God once day and he must not be from the South. So please go to Parr's to get your car washed. Please don't waste your time with this joke of a car wash. read more

These folks are liars and thieves. Whatever you do do not get your car wash at this location and definitely do not sign up for their con artist monthly wash service. They will tell you it's 9.99 per month and then exactly 30 days later which on mine was Christmas day they will then charge you $45. As today is a first business day and I went into the location to tell them that wasn't right and request a refund they told me they will not be refunding my money nor canceling my service so I have had to go to the bank route and refuse my charge on my card and get it back on my credit card which I have done. If you have service with them and you think you're getting $10 a month service you better call your bank and cancel your card now. These people are scam artist! I will be spreading this negative review all over the Internet and I encourage you to do the same to force this company to have ethical business practices. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau. MAKE SURE TO DISPUTE YOUR CHARGE WITH YOUR BANK. They will give you every penny back and are already aware of the car wash scam so they won't even argue with you. They still have a process to follow at bank but they won't let these cons steal your money. Make sure to file with BBB also. They were so RUDE and flat out REFUSED to help me. Gave me some nonsense garbage that I had used it this month so no refund, which will NEVER hold up. That's not how life works. On November 25 I was offered a $10 a month unlimited wash subscription. Between that time and December 25 when the $45 charge came in I had used the car wash 2 to 3 times. Again this is unlimited wash in less than 30 days and they were going to try to tell me that I had used it in the month so no refund. So you mean to tell me I had five days to use it and then I was paying no matter what? Suck on a bag full of quarters is what the self pay car wash will do because these thieves won't get a penny off my money or anyone else I know. My specific location was their 2nd location in Greer @ Walmart called Shine on 9 2. I'll post it on that page when I find it. Same company of awful people. I was referred to this car wash by a friend and my experience here was outstanding. From the moment at the entrance the pay machine worked great. Then the staff was very helpful in guiding me into the tunnel the guy even wore a shirt reminding me to put the car in neutral. After that the machinery thoroughly cleaned my vehicle and at the end my car looked brand new! Finally I headed into an indoor parking lot with FREE VACUUMS that worked like magic. Today was my first day using this facility. I was super impressed with the efficiency and cleanliness. I had never used a self-serve that provided towels and sprays.
