My brother stayed here for a few days after a recent hospital stay. The place is clean and much…read morenicer than when my grandmother was here years ago, but they are short staffed to the point they are not able to adequately care for their patients. My brother had defecated in his bed as he is unable to walk at this time and was left for 3 hours like this despite several requests to change him. It took a call to management before the situation was remedied. A few days later the same situation occurred at which time my brother became upset and began to act out. He suffers from brain injury after several strokes so rather than try to work with him, they sent him to a hospital once again. He will not be returning to this facility and I would not recommend them.

My friend referred me to here after my niece had a speech impediment. I have family in the area, so I frequent the area often as the drive from Atlanta to Nashville isn't too big, especially if it can help the little girl. The inside of the building is extremely child friendly, and the staff are so amazing with Marie. They always greet us with a warm welcome, and Marie has been improving every visit. She was finally able to stand up and speak in her class presentation without crying, and she finished with a big smile on her face! I have gotten to know the staff very well through our multiple visits, and I cannot explain how much passion they have towards their practice and how much they enjoy helping children through their struggles. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a child that has any difficulty with speech anxiety or speaking disorders regardless of language because they will be taken care of by these great people.

We were told by the hospital case manager that we were good to go and Natalie at NHC said come over, Mom was discharged and I showied up 2 hours later only to be told she would not be admitted since they couldn't get her meds on a holiday weekend...what a joke - my 83 yr old Mom sitting in the car and being told to take her back to the hospital for 2 more days. It's not that simple. TERRIBLE- I will take my money somewhere else and be sure to tell everyone I meet that this place is not only unprofessional but super dark and depressing inside. Fast forward to the end of the year and my flexible spending account would not accept the documentation I had to reimburse me my $50.00. I called the office and asked them for more documentation so I can be reimbursed my $50.00 and a new invoice was sent to me (sent that in and received my reimbursement from flexible spending). Fast forward to February and I received a new bill for $50.00. I figured it was in response to my previous inquiry for a new statement for flexible spending and i ignored it. In March, I received another $50.00 invoice and called the office to inquire why. I was told that I should have paid two $50.00 copays on that day, so I still owe them $50.00! ALMOST A YEAR LATER?!?! I am now past the point of being able to claim the second $50.00 copay on my flexible spending account. It is ridiculous that a company can operate this way and no matter how good the dr is, the billing cost me a loss of $50.00! Leigh offered me a 55% discount on that bill, which obviously I took, but I shouldn't have been held responsible for THEIR ERROR! I should also mention that during my phone call with them, she tried to put their error back on me, because I supposedly should have known that I would have two $50.00 copays for one visit! Because of the failure of the billing department, I DO NOT recommend this business!

I am a fairly new patient of this AOS location, as I followed Dr. King from his nearby practice…read morewhen they combined with AOS. This office is located in the TriStar Summit Hospital/Medical building in Hermitage. While the building is large, the best way to get to this office is park near the area of the building where the valet is and enter through there, take the immediate elevators up to the 2nd floor and boom...right there! I learned my lesson on my first visit and while I got my steps in...it was not ideal given I was there for a foot related issue. Front Desk staff is always welcoming and helpful, as are the nurses and NP's. Lobby is clean and in good condition, as are the patient rooms. Dr. King is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with my visits. He can be a bit delayed on his rounds, so I recommend clearing a bit more of your schedule than you think you need to. Overall, I enjoy Dr. King and this AOS location.

They have helped me through hip, shoulder, and knee issues over the years. Everyone at this practice has always been helpful and pleasant with me. I can't imagine seeing another orthopedic doctor or nurse for my orthopedic needs.
