Do yourselves a big favor and just say NO!! Not this place, from my experience and definitely not Angie ever, who ruined my hair color to a CLOWN-red color with yellow highlights? when I was very clear to her exactly the color I wanted, needed and look best in.. a subtle "Neutral 9" tone bc I know my hair and skin tone very well and for many, many years of doing my hair myself mostly or high end or highly recommended Salons and never had this kind of issue anywhere else before! I do the base myself usually without a problem but I decided to treat myself to a professional job and need a 9- neutral bright blonde base and possibly with a scattered 9 neutral bright highlights. It's that simple! And I was very clear to Angie about it. But left very unhappy. First off, the price they quoted me over the phone "for the base color is $70" which was a lie bc as soon as I was in her chair Angie stood back erect at me and pointed into her palm in a demeaning and demanding way, that she "only takes $78 for a base color!" I was a bit taken aback but let it go, took a deep breath and agreed bc it was too late to book anywhere else at that point and I had an important day the next day. Then she did the same about that I "needed highlights to graduate the color" and "that is $35 for 6-12 highlights?" 6-12? I again took a deep breath and tried to trust her and said ok but I definitely need a neutral 9 color tone, like the box color picture I brought in to make it crystal clear to her. She then said "it will be more warm color" but I said I don't look good in warm colors" so I should have just left then!! Instead, unfortunately, I said "well what color do you mean exactly?" And she pointed to what was in my hair already and I agreed to THAT color as long as it was more neutralized afterwards with some toner or something closer to a cool(er, but not cool.. 9 NEUTRAL." She agreed. So I let her proceed, but later very sorry for it! Over many years, only a few inexperienced Stylists in the past had over-processed my hair and I was always given a full refund or a fix depending on how bad it was and I had to usually just tone it down with Toner the next day to get any red brassiness out, let it grow out and keep deep re-conditioning it. But this Angie was adamant about giving me clown red-base with yellow highlights apparently when it was not necessary to make it that way! With this place and Angie, I was left with a clown-look, which ruined my plans for the next day, Easter Sunday and a special Birthday party! She refused to tone it down and there was even black dye left on my left ear lobe that I found when I got home. And my scalp was completely itchy all over bc the product was not properly washed out even. So unprofessional and rushed didn't even rinse the product out of my hair properly? I COULD NOT WAIT TO GET OUT OF THERE FAST ENOUGH!! "NEVER GOING BACK!!" "AND NO TIP!!" I usually always tip $20 for a good job! NEVER AGAIN!! Good luck! read more

Shine is my go-to salon for everything! I get regular massages and always leave feeling great. I've had manicures and pedicures and all the ladies are wonderful. I've had my hair dyed and highlighted and the girls were amazing! I have very sensitive skin and have reacted negatively to dyes in the past and after letting my stylist know, they are careful to keep dye off my skin and give me an extra rinse afterwards. My only non 5 star experience was a haircut. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was with a stylist I hadn't seen before. I asked for a subtle asymmetric bob with a little layering, and left with a straight blunt haircut. I came back a few days later and she "added layers" at no extra cost, but I couldn't really see a difference. Again - not a bad cut, just not what I was looking for. I went to Edge to get eyelash extensions done and they were absolutely hideous! I left furious, and upset. I came across Michaela's Instagram page and made an appointment with her and she did an amazing job! I will never go to anyone else! She did a beautiful job on my lashes! The atmosphere itself was very professional and welcoming. Michaela was very sweet and professional as well. She knew how upset I was about my previous experience and was very sensitive to that. I would highly recommend her and this salon to everyone I know. I've gotten so many compliments on my lash extensions. Thank you for my beautiful set of lashes Michaela! I came in to get balayage and was looking forward for a lighter shade of hair. She told me she wasn't sure she could get it as light as I wanted, but i still expected for my hair to get lighter you know, I did go in for balayage. But instead i left the salon with black hair! Jet black hair. With random ashy streaks. My hair was the darkest I have ever had it.And got charged a full $180 dollars for balayage. Also got charge for other stuff totaling 300+, $98 for a haircut + color (jet black) and a treatment that she did not inform me I was getting. I will never go back to this salon again. I had my hopes up. For charging people such a high price, they should really know what they are doing. And if they mess up, I wish they would admit it and try to fix it. Instead of blaming it on other things. I was so confused when it was done because my hair was BLACK!!! And she kept saying it will get lighter and it was just the lighting and then she said it was because my hair was already colored. I have had colored hair before and it got lighter after, and paid $100 for it. This time I went to a higher end salon expecting better results. And what did I get? Black hair! I left telling my daughter I was getting highlights and came home with black hair! she was so confused. I'm the kind of person who just lets things go and accept it. I don't complain. So I didnt and paid, and they even dared ask for a tip and I did. But every person I've told this said I shouldn't have paid. That I got screwed over. It literally ruined my whole week. Save your money and go somewhere else. My take is at least do what you're asked to do and if you didn't do it, admit it and fix it. read more

Not worth what you pay... unfortunately. The experience I had, along with my family, was not what we expected nor what we received when this location was Headliners. I received a mani/pedi along with my mom. Although the attendants were friendly enough, I'm more used to a higher level of service: offering a drink, more easy and fun conversation. I didn't feel that my pedicure was up to standard. She hardly used the pumice scrub and my feet don't look like I had a pedicure. Also, my gel manicure started to peel off after the second day. My mom requested a French manicure, but was unable to get one since her nail technician didn't know how to do it. I thought it was a pretty standard thing and was very disappointed for my mom, especially since it was her wedding day. Something that the staff didn't help to make special. My sister and nieces were in earlier and had similar complaints regarding not being able to get a French manicure and the gel polish already peeling. read more

High end prices dime store results. $300+ to go brunette to blonde(I never even had a trim or a style afterwards and I have a pixie cut!)CATASTROHY!!!! I was super patient for the first 3 cluster**** visits (before finally telling stylist she wasn't touching me ever again and especially after she told me there was to be an additional fee) I finally demanded the owner of the salon the final 2 visits only to leave yet again with goldfish/yellow on the left side of my head with a huge chunk of brown that was never even foiled! grey/green on the right side of my head! She even agreed that the other stylist screwed my hair up but yet again telling me how "she was fixing my hair for free" WTF! After my patience with her salon and trying to fix her mess! She's doing me a favor?? I'm 46 y/o and having been brunette to blond off and on my whole life I know "the process" ladies. Take my advice and go 2 miles down the street in any direction of that place there's a dozen wonderful trained high end salons gettin it right! I have had problems with my hair color after getting it dyed here twice now. Most recently, I went in with a picture of what I was wanting. The girls acknowledged it was a big change from what my hair currently was colored but never made me aware that it would have been impossible unless we went with a more expensive option. Instead of brown with light blonde balayage, I got bright blonde hair up to my roots with brown here and there throughout. The owner claimed they had told me it would not look like the picture and that If I wanted the look from the picture, it would cost $200 and that I had said no to that because I wanted to pay my normal fee. That conversation never occurred and although I could tell it was different than the picture in the salon, it was not until I got home and really looked at my hair up close that I noticed how terrible it really looked... like straight out of the late 90's/early 00's! They refunded me half of what I paid and I will be getting my hair fixed at a different salon. read more

I went there for a nail appointment in June when it was Headliners. Extremely disappointed because I had the manicure done on Friday and left for vacation. By Sunday all of the shellac manicure was gone! I recently returned and was disappointed again. I had a shellac manicure done again and within 3 days two of the nails had the polish come off again!! I went in to have it repaired and they all started to peel off with in 4 days. It didn't even last a week. I have had shellac done at other salons and it has lasted for approximately 2 weeks. I called and the owner said to me "well, you can come back in and I can have someone else do your nails for a discount". I said no! I will not be returning there ever again. read more
