I am so pleased that she and her colleague, Andrea, have finally started their own business, nestled in the heart of Coventry. The boutique is small and clean and modestly furnished. Either of the ladies is always at the front desk, ready to greet you with a smile, and if you're willing, a hug when you come in. The lobby area hosts a plethora of beauty products that they never once pushed on me, and only discussed when I asked. Up the shiny, sweeping wooden staircase are two treatment rooms, each a reflection of the ladies individual personalities, but both with an air of calmness and welcoming. BB offers a comprehensive menu of skin care treatments, from waxing brows (what I go for) to one-hour facials and more. I recently treated myself to a one-hour facial, and practically oozed down the stairs after Monique's expert technique lulled me into a near-sleep state. Prices are extremely fair, and customer service is top notch with these ladies. I have been doing monthly leg waxes for years and this has never happened. The wax kept breaking (probably because the wax was left on my legs for so long). There's parts of my legs that look like I shaved because the hair is just cut and not pulled out. Besides that, so much hair was left. She also told me the inner thighs were not included in my leg service. Again, I've been getting leg waxes for years at EWC and have never had strips of inner thigh hair left. She said she would do it for me even though it's not included. However, I'm going to need to get another leg wax in a week to get all the cut hairs left over. What a waste of $100! Also, the waxed was extremely unprofessional. She checked her phone whenever it buzzed, leaving my leg wax on longer. She also talked about how busy she was the other day, waxing forty individuals.
