Spoke with Alex, who seemed pleasant enough, and was told that the puppy could come to them immediately. I thought this sounded great since then I wouldn't have to worry about him staying at home at all. Until I went to other day care centres that all said the exact same thing.. the puppy cant be put into daycare without its shots. My puppy wouldn't have them yet since he was too young but Alex has said it was okay anyways. When around to my vet and other day cares they all seemed upset by the idea that Alex would keep the puppies without shots. I called back to ask Alex to confirm that my puppy could come in and he again said yes and then offered to keep my puppy there for a few weeks for "training" He is going to be 9 weeks old when I pick him up.. how much training could they do? and why would I leave my brand new baby with someone who doesn't even know basic stuff like that the dog should have shots. I am extremely concerned for all the dogs I saw inside the building. Please be cautious. He was willing to take my unvaccinated puppy. I'm sure he's taken others.

Jody has a great facility and the dogs get lots of exercise and lots and lots of love . There is no way you will find a better daycare for your dog . It is not possible . This is the best of the best . There are absolutely no negatives . My dog is still going regularly to carefree canines doggie daycare . It has become her second home . She comes home so happy . They also take photos and videos of the morning and afternoon crews that I love watching. The daycare dog Gus is super friendly and chill and loves to greet and welcome all the humans. Street parking is limited but I always manage to find a spot during drop off and pick up. Highly recommend.

I need to know that the person who cares for my dog can handle my lil firecracker and prevent trouble from happening. My good friend who lives across the street is such a person, but more than a couple of days of dogsitting is kind of an imposition for a friend. I definitely did not want to send my large, energetic dog to a kennel (aka doggy jail). Bronte Pet Services to the rescue! I found them through a link on the website of the also-awesome Dizine Canine training centre. These wonderful people, April and Lauren and their team of petsitters, specialize in and even enjoy working with challenging dogs. They are also involved with HugABull rescue and are well-trained and experienced in reactive dog handling. We exchanged a few emails, and a couple of days before the trip, April, who would be sitting for us (the sitter she initially matched us with had to cancel) and another Lauren, who would providing some relief, came over for a home visit and to get the keys and contracts, etc. Sally loved them right away (cookies!), and when we left for the trip, we felt assured she - and the house - was in good hands. Knowing my dog, I had some lingering worries, but the first progress report email dispelled them completely. Throughout the trip, April sent us emails and pictures regularly to update us on how things were going. They would generally stay overnight and give her morning and evening walks and feeding. I'm also super happy with all extras April brought to the arrangement. She brought over her own doggy puzzle toys for Sally to solve to get her dinner - and who doesn't like to be told their dog is smart enough to solve the hardest ones with ease? She also introduced us to using a body halter, rather than the head halter I had been using, and even lent me one to try out after we got back. And she definitely wore my dog out with lots of interesting walks and "urban agility" exercises in the park nearby. They take care of all kinds of pets, but I love that they love taking care of even the more challenging (difficult, smart, energetic) animals. And I love that, since finding Bronte Pet Services, I feel like maybe I can now take a vacation once in a while!

I never have to worry about my dog encountering another in a negative way because he has learned to ignore when he needs to and socialize when he needs to. Classes are affordable and it's a pretty good bunch of people. Serena, the trainer knows her stuff. She is no-nonsense and straight to the point which works great for my family.
