A few weeks ago, I noticed a burning smell in my basement and followed it to the electrical closet. I spoke to Greg on the phone about the issue and he was very professional and honest of what he could and could not do about the elusive issue. Most importantly, he did not use any scare tactics. Unfortunately, he had a client that day so my husband found another company to come to diagnose the issue. After opening and thoroughly examining the electrical box, the person could not find the problem and recommended an escalation to perform a full diagnosis, which would be nearly $500. I called Greg and he talked to me out of my panic. He also recommended a solution to test for the source myself. I summoned John to my house a couple months ago to replace a non-functional fluorescent bulb in my closet with an LED light, and to run an outlet to my newly installed heatless water tank. He came with his son and another worker (sorry for forgetting your name, man), and they did both jobs in a reasonable amount of time for a fine cost, with plenty of kindness and pleasantries. While doing this work John pointed out that my electrical panel was full of corrosion - probably from when my nearby garden hose line burst and flooded the panel. Whoops... Cue John coming back a couple months later with 4 dudes a to completely replace my electrical service. We went from a 150 amp breaker to a 200 amp and he installed an emergency shutoff outside by my meter. He took great care to make sure everything in the breaker was labeled appropriately and to walk me through how to use everything. John is a good communicator who follows through on what he says he is going to do. He is a nice guy to boot! When my dog took a piss right on his toolbox, he didn't make me feel bad about it.
