Few hours later - new heat pump installed (and it was raining most of the time for Nam working outside). Professional, knowledgeable, courteous and a reasonable price. Glad I called!

I purchased the both items from them brand new two years prio. I called the company to do maintenance on my furnace last year, the ma people either didn't show up or they called and said that they had other customers who needed their heating system fixed. After postponing , canceling, or not showing up at all, finally they scheduled a maintenance person to come out to do maintenance on the furnace and after the se person left the my furnace was pouring out water at a rate a full five gallon Home Depot bucket of water. I called the company and they said that's not the way the furnace was supposed to be functioning. They sent a second person out and he said m furnace is not functioning properly then he says " let me figure out how much we're going to invoice you ". I explained the furnace was practically new no one has touched the furnace that their people installed other than the person who allegedly performed maintenance on the furnace and the furnace was leaking water dramatically after he left and before he arrived and then after he allegedly performed " maintenance " the furnace was releasing water at a level of five gallons of water every ten hours. now second guy what's more money saying that the two year furnace that came from this company which was installed by their company was malfunctioning and they wanted money. I think this company are bunch of scam artist. they called multiple times a day soliciting maintenance work, demanding that they're paid upfront in advance. they don't show up for the appointment, reschedule , and then when they did show up the furnace is functioning worse than it was before they did the alleged " maintenance ", then they wanted to invoice me for showing up to fix what they screwed up. I don't recommend this company for anything, they're a bunch of scammers

SK came out and did a seasonal checkup on our AC. We're new to the home and area and found SK…read morethrough Yelp. They were on time, checked out the AC, added coolant and then took a quick peek at the furnace. They said both look good for the age (17 years) and should be good for a while. I had questions about rebates for heat pumps and he had answers about rebates, rough costs and advantages of the new heat pumps. He reiterated that we didn't need to change out our current equipment but if we feel it's important for environmental reasons there are good options. We'll definitely be using them going forward, and have a fall furnace checkup scheduled.

Last cooling season he…read moresaid the outside unit was near the end of its life, the unit was in the house when purchased. It''s a rental when it dies, we'll replace it. On the first cold day this winter he claims the heater is all rusted out in the exchanger and has to be replaced, along with the entire system because a new heater can't work with an old air conditioner. Our neighbor suggested we call their guy. He's been in business for 30 years. Needless to say, the heater was not rusted he showed me the unit was very dirty, the fan motor and wheel were clogged with dirt and there were two dead birds in the chimney. The outside air conditioner was only 10 years old. I'm convinced SK had never done anything other than collect their fee and try to sell stuff we didn't want or need.

I have a Trane HVAC unit in my apartment, and I had some questions about it. I got a prompt…read moreresponse from the company, and found them highly professional to deal with. I looked at their website, and saw that they do duct cleaning, and the reasons for doing it. I called on July 3rd and I said I would like to hire them for the service. I gave them the square footage and and overview. They said they could see me on July 5th at 9AM. At 8:59AM a serviceman arrived. He explained what he was going to do and then went about cleaning the ducts. He said there was a moderate amount of dirt, and that he has seen worse. After he cleaned the ducts he vacuumed the unit itself, and then blew a chemical into the ducts that would kill any bacteria that happened to be there. I thought it was good precaution to take. He also showed me a better way to put the filter in the unit. I gave them 5 stars -- only because they didn't have an option for 6 stars. It's great to know there's a company like this out there.

I had scheduled my day around them coming--they didn't know the employees didn't come to work until 1215? There was no way they could have let me know sooner and respected my time? They asked if I wanted to reschedule for the next day or wait until they knew whether they'd be able to make the appointment I made. Wait, what? They're offering to give me another appointment window that they don't think they can make? Why would I ever take that option? I've decided to go with someone else. I wonder if Kanze would charge me a no-show fee if I wasn't at my house at the designated time...
