The cronuts were a fun twist with the chocolate being the favorite of the group. The chocolate long johns were stuffed full with the most delicious and creamy Bavarian custard that was added when I ordered them and wasn't just sitting in the donut all morning. So the donut was soft and fresh and not at all soggy with a delectable chocolate ganache frosting that combined perfectly with the Bavarian creme and the tender donut!! Rich without being overwhelming and elegant without being fussy. A donut that makes you slow down after the first bite to truly savor the delicate combination of flavors. The star of the morning however was the original glazed and donut holes!!! The donut felt almost weightless in your hand, with a paper thin crystal like glaze that covered the top and cracked slightly when you took that first bite. When it hit your tongue the soft airy dough with its buttery notes and hint of vanilla melts when it touches your tongue. The sweetness perfectly balanced with the pillowy interior. It disappeared before you knew it and left you longing for more. The kids and adults alike loved the little spheres of happiness cut from the center of the donuts. Giving you the same tantalizing taste bud experience. Dangerously addictive since they are a single bite, causing you to keep reaching for "one more" until the box is mysteriously gone!

The biscuit sandwich was really gooe, classic biscuit, egg, cheese, and sausage for me. The biscuit was nice and fluffy and the innards were all tasty and warmed up. The donut holes were your classic glazed donut holes. The boudin kolache had a nice, flavorful boudin and a soft bread. Really all the food we got was just great and cheap. This was a nice spot to pick up a bit of breakfast for our drive back home and held up well during our trip!

And for some reason, it's wrong every single time. Yet I always give them the benefit of the doubt. Everyone else should be fired and they need to do some cleaning up in there and some re hiring of some people with actual work ethic. Not people who don't even want to be working in the first place and want everyone to give them handouts through their whole lives. DO BETTER. There is NO reason for any of this. It's absolutely ridiculous. They just lost probably one of the only REGULARS, who have continued coming there even through their terrible customer service and attitudes.
