    Drive thru

Why am i waiting 20 minutes in the drive thru for a donut? How long does it take to put a donut in a box and pass it off? I came here at 11 there's no reason it should be taking this long. Update: I've been here for THIRTY MINUTES. I didn't even get to order because it would've made me late back to work. There should be more workers here, whoever runs this place sucks

Why are the donuts suddenly so tiny? It's absolutely absurd that they don't even fit in the box anymore!

I prefer cake donuts, and theirs were oily with a slight chemical taste, or soap maybe. Didn't like them.

This is our stop of choice when traveling to points east, and we've done so on numerous occasions…read moreover the years. As with all Buc-ee's locations, you can expect the cleanest and most plentiful bathrooms in the history of mankind, enough gas pumps for an entire town (I think, I just did a napkin count), and all of the snacks and hot food that you could possibly want, to say nothing of an expansive merch selection. So what's not to like? Nothing. Nothing is not to like, it's just a great place that never fails to deliver on everything. My official hot tip for this and all Buc-ee's: check out the coin battery prices, those little round guys, for some reason, are cheaper here than almost almost anywhere else. There's another Buc-ee's closer to our home, it's my destination for those pesky CR2025 and CR2032, which seem to get slurped up by our devices. There's truly nothing bad I can say about this or any other Buc-ee's. Just make it a part of your travel, you won't be disappointed.

If you're driving on a Texas highway and see a Buc-ee's sign, exit - even if you don't need gas. My Overall Rating - 4 1/2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Facility, Return) Atmosphere - Buc-ee's is big, busy, and always crowded. If you're an introvert, I recommend you stay in the car. Walking into a Buc-ees is like walking into a Walmart. Same lighting, same item you can buy, and tons of people. 1/2 Stars. Service - Hats off to the Buc-ee's staff, because while it's always super crowded, I've never had to wait long because there are so many checkout stations and the staff are so nice and helpful. Everyone, from the staff making the BBQ to the fudge counter, everyone is super helpful. 1 Star. Facility - The bathrooms at Buc-ee's have earned legendary status. They're clean, the line moves fast, and it leaves you plenty of time to shop for....ANYTHING. Need pool supplies? Check. Flamin' Hot Cheetos? Check. Cookies? Check. Clothes? Check. You get the idea. The staff chops up fresh brisket sandwiches for you to grab and go. For me? I always grab the sugar roasted pecans. I can eat a cone of these sweet, warm treats in one sitting. Oh, Buc-ee's has gas too. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I'll plan my road trips around spending time at Buc-ee's. It's always a great rest stop where I can refuel my car and my body. 1 Star.

It's…read morebeen over a decade since my original visit, and a fun road trip with friends on a beautiful weekend in May resulted in an experience that made me question why it took over 10 years to return. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Pro Tip #1 - try to get there before 11:30 AM and plan your visit in May. Ham Orchards gets really busy at noon, and Texas gets really hot in June. There's plenty of parking (dirt lot), tons of people (and families), and you'll hear a musician or two playing on the guitar. 1 Star. Service - The staff is super nice. There's a market with dedicated peach soft serve lines as well as a separate building for BBQ. The two are separate, so you don't have to eat the BBQ at Ham Orchards if you only want to shop at the market. Upon entering the market, a very friendly and helpful staff member will help answer questions and guide you. 1 Star. Food - Ham Orchards is a peach farm, so I recommend you order anything that is peach infused. I went with the Peach Pulled Pork. The pork was very tender, the buns were lightly toasted, and the Peach Pulled Pork was sweet and tender. But the star of this trip was the Peach Infused Pickles. Wow, this condiment turned my "meh" potato salad into a peach infused bite that was peach sweet, pickle tart, and potato creamy. I also bought a full-sized Peach Pie from the market home. It was very good (and perfect for my Instagram feed). Pro Tip #2 - if you want to buy a pie, purchase it from the market before you eat lunch, otherwise they may be sold out. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Next time, I won't let 11 years pass between my visit to Ham Orchards. The road trip was super fun, the BBQ was tasty, and the pie I took home was a great reminder that some of the best destinations are a short road trip outside of Dallas. 1 Star

It's…read morea nice little spot to have some fairly good BBQ and as others have mentioned, shopping for a lot of goodies containing peaches. I'll go ahead and get this out of the way: You can't actually pick peaches here, presumably due to legal. But they do have times where berries can be picked, although we didn't do that on our visit. Upon arrival, we were hungry, so we headed to the BBQ window, operated by area BBQ provider Eddie Deen. The sandwiches themselves were quite good, with a special nod to the peach pulled pork sandwich, which was outstanding. A generous portion of distinctly peach infused but not crazy sweet pulled pork was piled atop a fresh soft bun, it was a delight to eat. Unfortunately, the side dishes were very pedestrian and almost seemed like they were prepackaged or from a foodservice provider. But definitely get that sandwich. Moving into the store, there are tons of products available, including the incredible peach pickle slices that were served with the BBQ (great way to market the product), we picked up a package and have been loving them at home. But the best product we tried, hands down, was the peach soft serve, and I mean, it was fantastic. Impossibly smooth, delicious flavor, definitely on the sweet side. If anyone from Ham is listening, though, let me offer a bit of advice. You are seriously missing the boat by not offering a smaller serving of this stuff. GLP-1 and other factors are leading many to try to eat less and keep the treats to a manageable level; offering a "small" that's literally half the size of the current smallest offering, at 2/3 of the price, would help people with their portions and help you guys print money. Seriously, this would be a great addition to the lineup. Bottom line, it's a cool place to take the kids and most of the adults, and if you want to get your peach on, it's the place to go.

We waited around 20 minutes just to be seated, which was already longer than expected considering how many empty tables we saw. After finally placing our order at about 11:15 AM, we noticed a couple who had been seated 10 minutes after us receiving their meals by 11:38 AM, while we were still waiting with no update. At that point, my frustration grew, and by 11:45 AM, my mom and I decided to leave since our food never arrived. This experience was extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, poor time management, and obvious oversight by both the staff and management were unacceptable. My mom and I left hungry, frustrated, and completely dissatisfied. I handed the bag to my son while calmly explaining to Melodie that there was another order. She checked the screen, called out the second order, and when I confirmed that was it, she power walked pass me over to my son and snatched the bag off his arm without saying anything he looked confused and nervous as well trying to get it off his arm while tugging it because it got stuck, she shouldn't have interacted with him at all. When I asked why she did that, she simply said she needed to check it. There was only one item in the bag, yet she went through it as if she was looking for something missing. She then handed it back to me without a word and continued to have an attitude for the rest of the interaction. Later, when I returned to the restaurant to discuss the situation calmly with a manager only to find out she is one, I overheard her talking about the incident with other customers, which was unprofessional. When she finally approached me, she did so with a smirk, saying, "Oh, you had another order," in a sarcastic tone. I explained again what happened and how she took the bag from my son instead of simply asking for it. She denied everything, saying there were cameras to prove it and that she "wouldn't have done that." Whether or not the cameras confirm it, her attitude, lack of professionalism, and dismissive behavior were unacceptable, especially from a manager. It's really unfortunate because I've always had positive experiences at this location, but Melodie's behavior completely ruined that. Denny's should take this as an opportunity to remind their leadership team that customer service and respect go a long way and ensure all customers are treated with respect and courtesy.
