So today there were leaves all over the course - someone needs to either blow this course daily every hour or cut the trees down. You cannot play a competitive game like that. And on the Skipper course at hole 16 there is a homeless person living in that cave with their backpack and cups and loaf of bread - ew- and at hole 17 there is a ball clog - that the lady at the desk said was there for weeks and not resolved- so you lose your ball and can't play that hole or hole 18. That is not cool at all. This course needs attention. It's a good course but needs maintenance and attention too. read more

This might be our favorite mini golf location in Myrtle Beach area! Over the years we have tried many different ones and this one was just super fun! We went about 9am on a Wednesday morning hoping to avoid other people (due to the pandemic) and the heat for July. Lucky for us, there was NO ONE else. I believe it was $11 for one courses and $1 for for both...we chose to do both. They said you could come back for the second course later in the day- that is just what we did. You just have to bring back your receipt. We happened to pick the more fun and challenging course first which was to the right. My sister in law was 7 months pregnant and I will say it was a bit rough going up the steps in the heat for her but we all had a lot of fun! The second course to the left was a little more boring. Only my husband and I went back for that one after dinner but for $1 more we enjoyed it.. We would go back for sure! read more

I didn't have high expectations of this place as most mini golf places down here, I feel, are kind of cheesy and dingy. But we go for the kids and here we are again. We came on a Saturday evening in the off season and it was so nice. There was one family besides us and they were well ahead of us so there was no rush. The people working the counter were very pleasant and the guy who gave us our clubs seemed very proud of the place. The grounds were well kept and the theming was appropriate for a shipwreck. I appreciated that everything was clean and bright and not faded with chipped paint. All of the water areas were so pretty and clean in appearance. The course itself wasn't very challenging which was great for my self esteem. I got 3 holes in 1. WOOT! I don't need a challenge. I enjoy the game and the company I keep while I play. With COVID still being present I appreciated the number of hand sanitizer dispensers distributed throughout. I happened to leave mine in the car so this was so great. Plus I noticed they did take the time to wipe down the clubs and balls after use. After we were finished the kids wanted an ice cream treat. They have a little snack area where you check in (they also have adult treats too in the form of beer and wine haha) and the kids each picked an ice cream bar for under $4 total! I don't remember what we spent to get in but I do remember it being standard to what we're used to spending on a night out mini golfing so all in all, this was a great choice for us and I'd definitely come again. read more

Smartly plotted course, beautiful natural decorative touches and friendly staff. 2 courses (one with handicap access) We found the football stadium lights to be too harsh. Price was competitive. It is a little out of the way but that made for a quieter game. Highly recommend. Warning: Stairs are quite steep on Captains course. This was a very nice and fun putt putt place. We played the course that had the handicapped option. It was nice and far less crowded which is good when you have little kids with you. 2021 review #7 Mini golf is mini golf. I love it. But wow, this place looked like it does not get cleaned or kept up at all. The bathrooms were disgusting. Especially with COVID, I do not recommend. Not to mention, the girl working was in the WORST mood. Honestly she may be in my top 5 for worst service. She wouldn't even look at us in the eye. I get that we all have bad days, but my goodness, this was on another level. She must have said 5 words to us total. We had a voucher from our hotel, so that was nice because there's no way I'd want to pay out my pocket to mini golf here. read more

Good course to play. It's got a good amount of challenge for all ages. They've thought ahead and put trellises around the course with vegetation growing on it to provide shade on hot days. No animatronics or fireworks but I don't think that it's really needed. Both courses offer different elevations to walk up. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to play the first 18 then leave so our kid could take a nap and come back and play the other 18 that we paid for. I played this old course tons of times as a kid when it was part of the Myrtle Beach Grand Prix (R.I.P.). There are 2 courses actually, the skippe rand captain course. There's really no significant different between the two. They were offering a great deal for all 36 holes so we rocked that. The course is in good shape still and the landscaping is really well done; lots of greenery. In fact in some areas it's grown so tall that it was blocking out the night time spot lights. It was hard to see the undulations of the course in some spots at night, and watch your step, especially if you have trouble seeing in dimly lit areas. There aren't too many interesting photo spots or elements along the way. There's a ship with some cannons on one hole and replicas of a big grouper and a shark that you can get photos with near the entrance. Both courses have a good mix of classic elements. Even though we played at night, it was not busy. I don't know if this is a bad sign for business, but we really enjoyed being able to play in "prime time" without having to wait 5-10 minutes between every hole. I think part of this has to do with it's location near the airport. It's a little further out of the way in southern MB, but it's worth the trip. Some of my enthusiasm might be nostalgia, but I would recommend this course for sure. read more

Neat and clean mini golf with very easy holes. Fun for adults and kids. All holes state a par of 2. We could do some in 2, others not so much. Kids from 7-12 enjoyed as well. Great lighting for night golf. Just watch - large crowds make for some wait times at each hole. read more

First time in Myrtle Beach! This course was right next to our resort and my boys loved it. Ages 13 and 7. We did the Captain Course and it was fun. My 7 year old had never played before and it was easy for him to move from hole to hole. The staff was very nice and explained how to get started. It was a nice end to our vacation! Very rude. Arrived at 8:30. 9 people, $10.00 a piece. Told we would have to pay with credit card as they had already counted cash drawer. Told we would need to hurry as they wher closing. Sign out front gives 10:00 pm closing time. Internet gives 11:00 pm closing time. The little old man was extremely rude and kept expressing that we would need to hurry. He glared out the window the entire time we where in his line of sight. Finished up before 10:00. Standing outside the gate talking to out of town family leaving tomorrow, lady comes out to tell us we had to leave as they where closed! EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! We are locals and have people visit regularly. We also work around the vacation industry and will be sure to steer everyone clear of this place. read more

Excellent course, nice blue running waterfall. Interesting difficulty dynamics; some holes upset me, some holes made me feel like I should quit my day job and become a professional putter. Staff was friendly but not very personable. Needed drinks up front, and more engagement - but let's face it, you come to this place to play golf and act like an innocent kid again, and it perfectly captures that feeling with an excellent course, wrecked ships, awesome fake mountains, and cascading neon blue waterfalls. read more

Really cool mini golf course!! Both courses here were challenging yet fun. Cool water features and lovely landscaping were found throughout. Lots of arbors with vines growing on them to find some shade and cool off. You can tell this place is very well maintained. The man and lady working at the counter were very sweet and friendly. Very fun place to go, however it is not stroller friendly. The stairs were steep for a pregnant woman in her third trimester and 17 month old. The Captain course was fun but tiresome with a small child. I didn't really appreciate the dyed water splashing my and my child either. People with sensitive skin may be allergic to it getting on them. Other than those things we had a great time. Maybe in a few more years it'll be better for young family. We enjoyed playing mini golf here. It was a fun course. But not stroller friendly, so don't plan on bringing it out. There are so pretty steep steps that were tricky, especially if you have children with you. The employees there are very nice. Price wasn't too bad. $9 per person before 6pm.
