Made a crown for his tooth and then REFUSED to put it in. Wants to do a bridge or implant instead $$$$. The implant was estimated 8k and the receptionist took it upon herself to fill out a credit application for this in the amount of 10k. This was not approved by us! She gave personal information to a company I am not familiar with. This broke HIPPA laws! I will be contacting the ADA, attorney general, BBB, FTC for this. I will be asking for the crown made for my husband and if they no longer have it... I will be filing a dispute on my credit card. We also have a credit balance for that crown and the $100 reserve appointment fee. (I don't get asked for this reserve.) We will be getting our pre-paid $ back. We will be looking for another dentist... Oh, forgot to add, the turn over in staff is awful you will never get the same hygienists b/c they moved on and the Dr. turn over isn't much better. Too bad I had to give them one star.

I've been to several visits now and feel the care and treatment are very consistant so I felt it was time to leave a review. She is so patient and nice. It's obvious that she hires only the best to work in her office. I always feel like I receive the best possible customer service and treatment. The hygienist is so caring and does such a wonderful job. I'm always learning something new from them. I highly recommend calling their office to set up an appointment for your next check-up.

So after waiting and waiting, I asked if she would be kind enough to email me it and she agreed to do so. It has been over 3 weeks and no estimate was ever sent. Two weeks ago I emailed Dr. Hollander with some follow up questions regarding the crown as well as what they are doing regarding Covid19 guidelines; to date I have still not received a response. It seems to me a very strange way to run a business. I don't think anyone would want to go to an unresponsive dentist.

A few simple questions at the time of booking could have saved us both time and money. I was unaware that not all periodontists offer sedation, and this lack of communication made the experience feel misleading. To add to my disappointment, I was told--without any real concern--that I was still responsible for the estimated consultation fee, despite the fact that the office was unable to provide the necessary treatment. It was a difficult case. She was surprised I had not felt more discomfort from the infection before coming in. She worked for quite a while to remove all of the decay, as it was a hot mess. She kept the area pain-free for me during the procedure. (And...bonus...I had more energy once my body was not fighting that infection.) Afterwards, she presented me with options about what I could do next. I opted for a dental implant. Her wonderful, efficient staff presented me with an accurate estimate, explaining how and why any treatment charges were slightly more than my dental coverage. (It's nice to know this information in advance.) Again, each subsequent procedure was painless. In my case, there was minimal swelling and bleeding. I'm sure each patient's gum condition and healing outcome is different, but I would trust Dr. Hamal to be able to navigate those differences. She is practical, empathetic, forthcoming...an experienced, skillful professional. I highly recommend her.

This business has all necessary information to determine my adult children have their own insurance and that my secondary insurance was not to be applied to their accounts as they are not covered under my insurance. * There is NO evidence you have sent a claim to my primary insurance; there is no record of payment by them. * They should have separated out each patient's account/billing and amount owed. * They should not have credited inappropriate accounts with my secondary insurance.
