They do have souvenir cups you can purchase for the day which allows you to refill your cup all day in 15 min intervals or you can get the season cups. Overall the rides are fun, when they're not closed. If you're one of those who don't like to wait for rides, get the fast pass. It wouldn't be worth it tho for littler kids that can't ride the coasters.

Thunderhawk Tuah! You know what - don't even spit on this thing!…read more Not as thrilling or as smooth as Raptor at Cedar Point or any number of B and M inverts but this Vekoma SLC (suspended looping coaster) wasn't the painful ordeal it's reputation led me to believe it would be. Thunderhawk looks great, especially reflected against the pond (Lake Michigan's Adventure? What is the name of this body of water?) and coasters are pretty slim pickings at this park so I'd rank it second best after the mighty Shivering Timbers. Fortunately for me I used my old trick of not putting my head on the headrest on the restraints I learned riding Corkscrew at Cedar Point years ago. I've since employed it on Rougarou, Kumba down at Busch Gardens Tampa and now Thunderhawk. If you have a steady enough neck it'll save you a lot of unnecessary headbanging on coasters with a reputation for it. With this defensive strategy I found Thunderhawk herky jerky but generally not painful. It only seemed especially rough to me in the barrel rolls - the double in line twists that take you upside down twice in a row. Thunderhawk was actually decently fun. The jerkiness took away from the sensation of speed. At less than 50 mph it doesn't feel like you're flying through the course anyway but the jerkiness takes away something of that wonderful whooshing sensation you can get from a coaster. I only rode Thunderhawk once but I wouldn't minded another ride or two.

It was honestly a little jerky for a roller coaster of its size and thrill. But considering the amusement park it was at, it's not that surprising. It was definitely one of the most intense roller coasters I've ever been on. I've been on roller coasters like it but I think the jerkiness probably made it more intense. But it would like spin us left but jerk us in the right direction and the do an upside down turn all within a couple seconds and I'm not sure if it was because of all the twists and turns or the jerkiness but it was hard to pace my neck for what was coming next. My dads neck was hurt afterwards. He didn't like it and he likes roller coasters. He looked horrified in the picture it took of us.

I remember riding Cedar Point's Corkscrew as a kid and though it was short and not my favorite it was still fun. The corkscrews over the midway were, and still are iconic. Then one year my family went down to Florida and rode Python at Busch Gardens Tampa. This was long before there was YouTube pov videos of rollercoasters or before I knew what an Arrow looper was but I could tell just by looking at what I could see from the midway it was basically the same thing as Cedar Point's Corkscrew. Then I rode it and discovered there was no double down on the hill with an extra pop of airtime and no big teardrop loop before the corkscrew inversions. It was over in a flash and I remember being disappointed and underwhelmed. Well, I was underwhelmed riding Corkscrew at Michigan's Adventure but not disappointed, only cause I knew what to expect. Even fellow lower tier Cedar Fair park Valleyfair gets a third loop and a little bump of a hill after it. I can't even remember if I wrote a review of that or what I might have said. And I'll probably forget this, too. Besides Shivering Timbers and maybe some waterslides it's all Meh-chigan's Adventure around here.

CHEESIN' I knew…read moreenough about roller coasters not to expect much from this 'Wild Mouse' installation. There's nothing original to experience here, and with standard (i.e. non-spinning) cars, there isn't much in the way of a thrill factor. It's fine for kids and families, I suppose, but bigger kids will likely find this coaster lame with a capital 'L'. Virtually every one of these models from Arrow Dynamics has the same hairpin turns and short (but sudden) dips, with little (or no) banking. It's kinda rough & tumble on the body and has been in operation since 1999. It broke down briefly during my visit, so I came back later when it was in operation. This coaster had TERRIBLE ride ops and likely the lowest guest output in the entire park. Numerous 4-seat cars kept getting backed up on the station brakes, and with no platform to disembark everyone had to just chill and wait 5-10 minutes. Keep in mind we were locked in the cars the entire time so all we could do was twiddle our thumbs. My grousing continues with the restraint system......individual lapbars AND seatbelts? For a wild mouse?? That seems like overkill. Likely the result of added safety measures, but as tame as the ride is I don't see how both are totally necessary. This was one of the longest waits during my visit to Michigan's Adventure -- about 20-30 minutes. I blame the super low rider capacity. Making matters worse, as dusk settled on the park and all the neon lights went on.....Mad Mouse stayed dark. Either the sign wasn't plugged in or MichAdv was trying to save on the electricity bill. Booooooo. * TL;DR * Insufferably slow dispatch times, reliability issues, and an uncomfortable yet still yawn-inducing ride makes for a big fat thumbs down. 'Recommend' isn't the word I'd use. Get your coaster credit and move on, but shed no tears if you can't make it on this particular ride as you can find these "wild mice" at dozens of places all around the country.

Ten years ago I placed an order with this company for custom leather coasters to give as party favors at my wedding. Today I placed my second order for a surprise 10 year anniversary gift for my husband! Both times I was impressed by the level of expertise and caring shown by Chris, who made both purchases a dream come true. This is a company that delivers what it promises and I can't recommend them enough. It was a great party favor, and I've been using the extras in my home ever since. Honestly, I was surprised by the attention to detail, and the sincere customer service, I'm just not used to it in this day and age. I can't express how grateful I am that a such a good company is still around and that I was lucky enough to find them.
